Ayat Al-Fajr RootWords

سورة الفجر - 89 -

بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1

وَٱلْفَجْرِ﴿1﴾لا

فَجَرَ,
By the dawn break.
2

وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍۢ﴿2﴾لا

عَشَرَ,
لَيْل,
And by the ten nights.
3

وَٱلشَّفْعِ وَٱلْوَتْرِ﴿3﴾لا

شَفَعَ,
وَتَرَ,
And by the even and the odd.
4

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ﴿4﴾ج

لَيْل,
سَارَ,
And by the night when it starts.
5

هَلْ فِى ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٌۭ لِّذِى حِجْرٍ﴿5﴾ط

قَسَمَ,
حَجَرَ,
ذَا,
فِي,
Is in there an oath for who prohibits (who understands above signs of Oaths and restricts evils)?
6

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ﴿6﴾ص لا

فَعَلَ,
رَأَى,
كَيْفَ,
رَبَّ,
Did you not see how your Rabb dealt with Add?
7

إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلْعِمَادِ﴿7﴾ص لا

عَمَدَ,
أَ رَ مَ,
ذُو,
Original base roots of the pillars.
8

ٱلَّتِى لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ﴿8﴾ص لا

مَثَلَ,
خَلَقَ,
بَلَدَ,
فِي,
The like of which was not created in the cities.
9

وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُوا۟ ٱلصَّخْرَ بِٱلْوَادِ﴿9﴾ص لا

وَدَى,
جَابَ,
صَخْرَ,
And Samoud, who cut through the rocks of the valley.
10

وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِى ٱلْأَوْتَادِ﴿10﴾ص لا

وَتَدَ,
And Firon with stakes (fastened securely temples, pyramids with columns of solid base).
11

ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ﴿11﴾ص لا

بَلَدَ,
طَغَا,
فِي,
Those who exceeded the boundaries in the towns.
12

فَأَكْثَرُوا۟ فِيهَا ٱلْفَسَادَ﴿12﴾ص لا

كَثَرَ,
فَسَدَ,
فِي,
And many of those in them were with immorality.
13

فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ﴿13﴾ج لا

عَذُبَ,
صَبَّ,
سَاطَ,
رَبَّ,
So, your Rabb poured a whip (lash) of punishment upon them.
14

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلْمِرْصَادِ﴿14﴾ط

رَصَدَ,
رَبَّ,
Indeed, Your Rabb is observing.
15

فَأَمَّا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكْرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَكْرَمَنِ﴿15﴾ط

قَالَ,
أَنِسَ,
كَرُمَ,
بلو,
نَعَمَ,
رَبَّ,
As for humankind, whenever his Rabb tests him, generously awards him, and provides him with luxury, he says, “My Rabb has been generous to me.”
16

وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَهَٰنَنِ﴿16﴾ج

قَالَ,
رَزَقَ,
بلو,
رَبَّ,
هَانَ,
But whenever he is tested and awarded with measured provisions, he says, “My Rabb has degraded me.”
17

كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ﴿17﴾لا

يَتَمَ,
كَرُمَ,
كَلَّا,
Certainly not. But you are not generous (give respect) to the orphans.
18

وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ﴿18﴾لا

طَعِمَ,
مسكن,
حَضَّ,
And you do not incite on feeding the poor.
19

وَتَأْكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكْلًۭا لَّمًّۭا﴿19﴾لا

أَكَلَ,
وَرَثَ,
لَمَّ,
And you devour the inheritance altogether.
20

وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلْمَالَ حُبًّۭا جَمًّۭا﴿20﴾ط

حَبَّ,
مَال,
جَمَّ,
And you love to gather wealth.
21

كَلَّآ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ دَكًّۭا دَكًّۭا﴿21﴾لا

أَ رَضْ,
دَكَّ,
كَلَّا,
Certainly not, when the earth is beaten down, demolished, and destroyed.
22

وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلْمَلَكُ صَفًّۭا صَفًّۭا﴿22﴾ج

مَلَكَ,
جَاءَ,
صَفَّ,
رَبَّ,
And your Rabb Arrives, and the angels, in row after row.
23

وَجِا۟ىٓءَ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ﴿23﴾ط

جَهَنَّم,
يَوْم,
ذَكّرَ,
أَنِسَ,
جَاءَ,
And on that Day, hellfire will be brought. On that day, humankind will remember, but how will the remembrance avail him? (On that day, the remembrance will not help him).
24

يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى﴿24﴾ج

قَالَ,
لَيْتَ,
حي,
قَدَمَ,
He will say, “I wish my life would have been brought before me.”
25

فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ﴿25﴾لا

عَذُبَ,
أ حد,
يَوْم,
On that Day, no one will punish him as He punishes.
26

وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ﴿26﴾ط

أ حد,
وَثَقَ,
And nobody will be firm like His firmness.
27

يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفْسُ ٱلْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ﴿27﴾ق صلے

طَأْمَنَ,
نَفُسَ,
But as for you, O soul with the peace and tranquility.
28

ٱرْجِعِىٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةًۭ مَّرْضِيَّةًۭ﴿28﴾ج

رَجَعَ,
رَضِيَ,
إِلَى,
رَبَّ,
Return to your Rabb, satisfied and in acceptance.
29

فَٱدْخُلِى فِى عِبَٰدِى﴿29﴾لا

دَخَلَ,
فِي,
عَبَدَ,
Enter with my worshipers.
30

وَٱدْخُلِى جَنَّتِى﴿30﴾1ع

دَخَلَ,
جَنَّ,
Enter my Gardens of Paradise.
