	سورة القيامة - 75 -
	بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1	لَا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۙ	قَسَمَ, يَوْم, قَامَ,
	No, I take the Oath of the Day of Standing.
2	وَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ	قَسَمَ, نَفُسَ, لَامَ,
	And no, I take the Oath of the soul of the self-blamed.
3	أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَلَّن نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ ؕ	عَظُمَ, جَمَعَ, حَسَبَ, أَنِسَ,
	Does the man consider that We will not collect his bones?
4	بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ	سَوِيَ, بلو, قَدَرَ, بَنَا نْ,
	Yes indeed! We can straighten (arrange even) his fingertips (fingerprints).
5	بَلْ يُرِيدُ الْإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ ۚ	أَنِسَ, رَادَ, فَجَرَ, أَ مَّ,
	But the man desires to sin what is in front of him (looks for a present reward and does not think that the results of his deeds will come back).
6	يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ ؕ	سَأَلَ, يَوْم, قَامَ, أَيْنَ,
	He asks, “When is the Day of Standing (final judgment)?”
7	فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ ۙ	بَصُرَ, بَرَقَ,
	Then with the twinkling of the eye.
8	وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ ۙ	خَسَفَ, قَمَرَ,
	And the moon will sink.
9	وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ ۙ	شَمَسَ, قَمَرَ, جَمَعَ,
	And the sun and the moon will be united.
10	يَقُولُ الْإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ ۚ	قَالَ, يَوْم, أَنِسَ, فَرَّ, أَيْنَ,
	On the Day, humankind will say, “Where is the escape?”
11	كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ ؕ	كَلَّا, وَزَرَ,
	No indeed! Nobody took responsibility for his deeds (nobody to help).
12	إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ ؕ	يَوْم, قَرَّ, إِلَى, رَبَّ,
	Towards his Rabb on that Day is the final dwelling (final resting place).
13	يُنَبَّأُ الْإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ ؕ	يَوْم, نَبَأَ, أَنِسَ, قَدَمَ, أخر,
	On that day, the man will be informed about what he has sent forward and what he has left behind.
14	بَلِ الْإِنسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ ۙ	أَنِسَ, نَفُسَ, بَصُرَ, بَلْ,
	But the man, on his own, realizes.
15	وَلَوْ أَلْقَى مَعَاذِيرَهُ ؕ	لَقِيَ, عَذَرَ, لَوْ,
	And wishes to submit his excuses.
16	لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ ؕ	لَسِنَ, عَجِلَ, حَرِك,
	Do not move with it your tongue to expedite.
17	إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ ۖ ۚ	قَرَأَ, جَمَعَ,
	Indeed, Its collection and its recitation are on Us.
18	فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ ۚ	تَبِعَ, قَرَأَ,
	Then, when it is read, follow (pursue, adhere, to what is) recited.
19	ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ ؕ	بَا نَ, ثَمَّ,
	Then, it is upon Us to make it plain (evident).
20	كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ ۙ	حَبَّ, عَجِلَ, كَلَّا,
	Indeed, you love the faster (life of this world).
21	وَتَذَرُونَ الْآخِرَةَ ؕ	وَذَرَ, أخر,
	And you leave the Hereafter.
22	وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ ۙ	يَوْم, وَجَهَ, نَضَرَ,
	On that Day, faces will be blooming.
23	إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ ۚ	نَظَرَ, إِلَى, رَبَّ,
	Towards their Rabb, they will be looking.
24	وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ ۙ	يَوْم, وَجَهَ, بَسَرَ,
	And on that Day, faces will be scowled.
25	تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ ؕ	ظَنَّ, فَعَلَ, فَقَرَ,
	Realizing that he would be acted upon by poverty-stricken (impoverished).
26	كَلَّا إِذَا بَلَغَتْ التَّرَاقِيَ ۙ	بَلَغَ, كَلَّا, تَرَاق,
	Indeed not, when it reaches his collarbone.
27	وَقِيلَ مَنْ ࣝ رَاقٍ ۙ	قَالَ, رَقَّ,
	And it is said, “Who is compassionate?”
28	وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ ۙ	ظَنَّ, فَرَقَ,
	And he realizes that he is in separation.
29	وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ ۙ	سَاقَ, لَفَّ,
	And the leg is entwined with another leg.
30	إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ ࣖ	يَوْم, سَاقَ, إِلَى, رَبَّ,
	To your Rabb, on that Day will be the drive.
31	فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّى ۙ	صَدَقَ, صلو,
	He did not give charity nor pray.
32	وَلَكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى ۙ	وَلِيَ, كَذَبَ,
	And (but) he lied and turned away.
33	ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى ؕ	ذَهَبَ, أهَلَ, إِلَى, مَطَا, ثَمَّ,
	Then he went to his family, stretching (expanding himself in admiring).
34	أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى ۙ
	Woe to you and your suffering.
35	ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى ؕ	ثَمَّ, ا و ل,
	Then again: woe to you and your suffering.
36	أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى ؕ	حَسَبَ, أَنِسَ, تَرَكَ, سَدَّى,
	Does the man think he will be left in vain (unaccountable, useless)?
37	أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّن مَّنِيٍّ يُمْنَى ۙ	نَطَفَ, مَنَا,
	Is it not that he is a drop of emitting semen?
38	ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّى ۙ	خَلَقَ, سَوِيَ, عَلِقَ, كَانَ, ثَمَّ,
	Then he became a clot. And He shaped and proportionated?
39	فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَى ؕ	جَعَلَ, ذَكّرَ, أَنُثَ, زَاجَ,
	And created from it the pairs, the male and the female?
40	أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى ࣖ	حي, مَاتَ, لَيْسَ, قَدَرَ, ذَا,
	Is it not so that Who has power on it (to create a man alive) that He gives life to the dead?

Fahad 12/25/2022 3:28:06 PM: AoA. Thank you for compiling the roots in one place. Barak Allahu Feek! In looking at some of the root words you show, some are different that what other sources say. As an example for 1:5, the word الصِّرَاطَ is generally tied to the root صِرَط, but you are showing صِرَاط. There are several others that do not match with typical conventions. I don't know Arabic at all, let alone what roots are 'true'. Just humbly requesting if you can share what specific source do you follow to list the roots? Any guidance will be greatly appreciated, and will help me align my understanding of the various ways of looking at the Quranic text, iA. Thank you again for the great work you have initiated. SA

Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. If you can provide the linking pages as text reference, will be a great boon for us. through that we can also search for any words that appear in texts and refer back to the root. it is also the reverse way. But now the linked dictionary pages are in pdf or image only ref. But thanks very much for this wonderful work. Ifyou can make a tool out of it..we can contribute to it as i know time is spent very much on it.
