Ayat Al-Jinn RootWords

سورة الجن - 72 -

بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1

قُلْ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْءَانًا عَجَبًۭا﴿1﴾لا

قَالَ,
وَحَى,
سَمَعَ,
نَفَرَ,
عَجَبَ,
قَرَأَ,
قَالَ,
جَنَّ,
Say, “It was revealed to me that there was a group of jinn (word -Janna- concealed hidden, cannot see) who listened in, and said, ‘We have heard a beautiful Quran (marvelous, surprising).

يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلرُّشْدِ فَـَٔامَنَّا بِهِۦ ۖ وَلَن نُّشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَآ أَحَدًۭا﴿2﴾لا

أَ جَل,
هَدَى,
رَشَدَ,
أَ مُنَ,
شَرِكَ,
أ حد,
إِلَى,
رَبَّ,
It guides us toward the right way, so we believe in it and will never make anyone a partner with our Rabb.
3

وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةًۭ وَلَا وَلَدًۭا﴿3﴾لا

أَخَذَ,
جدَّ,
صَحِبَ,
وَلَدَ,
عَلَا,
رَبَّ,
And He is Extremely Exalted, our Rabb. He did not take a wife or have any child.
4

وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ شَطَطًۭا﴿4﴾لا

قَالَ,
سَفِهَ,
شَطَّ,
كَانَ,
But those who are saying that (He has wife and children) are foolish from among us. They went too far on Allah.
5

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ كَذِبًۭا﴿5﴾لا

قَالَ,
ظَنَّ,
كَذَبَ,
جَنَّ,
And we thought that humankind and jinn would never say (such) a lie about Allah.
6

وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًۭا﴿6﴾لا

رَجِلَ,
أَنِسَ,
جَنَّ,
عَاذَ,
زَيدَ,
كَانَ,
رَهِقَ,
And that (some) men from humankind used to take shelter with men among the jinn, but it only increased their oppression (sufferings).
7

وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللّٰهُ أَحَدًۭا﴿7﴾لا

أَ جَل,
ظَنَّ,
أ حد,
بَعَثَ,
They supposed as you thought, Allah would never raise (resurrect) anyone.
8

وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًۭا شَدِيدًۭا وَشُهُبًۭا﴿8﴾لا

سَمَا,
وَجَدَ,
مَسَّ,
شَدَّ,
مَلَأَ,
حَرَسَ,
شَدَّ,
شَهَبَ,
And that, we touched the sky and found it full of intense protection and jets of blazing fires.
9

وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ ۖ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْـَٔانَ يَجِدْ لَهُۥ شِهَابًۭا رَّصَدًۭا﴿9﴾لا

وَجَدَ,
شَهَبَ,
سَمَعَ,
قَعَدَ,
رَصَدَ,
كَانَ,
And we used to sit in positions to listen in, but whoever heard at that time found himself a blaze in ambush.
10

وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِىٓ أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًۭا﴿10﴾لا

أَ رَضْ,
دَرَى,
رَادَ,
رَشَدَ,
شَرَّ,
And that we do not comprehend whether harm is being sought for whoever is on the earth or if it is guidance aimed for them by their Rabb.
11

وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدًۭا﴿11﴾لا

طَرَقَ,
ذَا,
صَلَحَ,
دُون,
قَدَّ,
كَانَ,
And the righteous among us and the others among us were on split paths.
12

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ ٱللّٰهَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُۥ هَرَبًۭا﴿12﴾لا

أَ رَضْ,
عَجَزَ,
ظَنَّ,
هَرَبَ,
And we recognized that we could never weaken Allah on the earth or weaken Him in a fight.
13

وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ ۖ فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًۭا وَلَا رَهَقًۭا﴿13﴾لا

خَافَ,
أَ مُنَ,
هَدَى,
سَمَعَ,
بَخَسَ,
رَهِقَ,
رَبَّ,
And that when we listen to the guidance, we believe in it. Whoever believes in his Rabb has no fear of decreasing (reward) nor a burden.
14

وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ ۖ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا۟ رَشَدًۭا﴿14﴾

سَلِمَ,
حَرَّ,
قسط,
رَشَدَ,
And among us are submissive people, and among us are those who make parts (share others with Allah). Then whoever is more submissive they are liberally guided.
15

وَأَمَّا ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا۟ لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًۭا﴿15﴾لا

حَطَبَ,
جَهَنَّم,
قسط,
كَانَ,
And for those who make parts (share others with Allah), then they will be firewood for Hell.’”
16

وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقًۭا﴿16﴾لا

مَا ءَ,
قَامَ,
طَرَقَ,
سَقَى,
غَدِقَ,
If they remained steadfast on the Path, We would have given them plenty of water to drink.
17

لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَن يُعْرِضْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًۭا صَعَدًۭا﴿17﴾لا

عَذُبَ,
سَلَكَ,
ذَكّرَ,
عَرُضَ,
فَتَنَ,
صَعِدَ,
رَبَّ,
So, We test them in this, whoever turns away from remembering his Rabb, will be followed with the punishment going up (increasing).
18

وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَ لِلّٰهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللّٰهِ أَحَدًۭا﴿18﴾لا

دَعَا,
أَ جَل,
أ حد,
سَجَدَ,
مَعَ,
And that the mosques are for Allah. So, do not call, besides Allah, anyone else.
19

وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ ٱللّٰهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا۟ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًۭا﴿19﴾ط 1ع

دَعَا,
قَامَ,
كود,
كَانَ,
عَبَدَ,
لَبَدَ,
And when the slave of Allah stood invoking Him, they almost stuck on him in a mass (surround him and weigh him down).
20

قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدًۭا﴿20﴾

دَعَا,
أَ جَل,
أ حد,
شَرِكَ,
رَبَّ,
Say, “Indeed, I only invoke my Rabb, and I do not make anyone else partner with Him,”
21

قُلْ إِنِّى لَآ أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّۭا وَلَا رَشَدًۭا﴿21﴾

ضَرَّ,
قَالَ,
رَشَدَ,
مَلَكَ,
Say, “Indeed, I do not have the power to harm you nor to guide (you).”
22

قُلْ إِنِّى لَن يُجِيرَنِى مِنَ ٱللّٰهِ أَحَدٌۭ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلْتَحَدًا﴿22﴾لا

أَ جَل,
أ حد,
قَالَ,
جَارَ,
وَجَدَ,
دُون,
لَحَدَ,
Say, “Indeed, nobody will give me sanctuary from Allah, and I will never find other than Him to incline.
23

إِلَّا بَلَٰغًۭا مِّنَ ٱللّٰهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦ ۚ وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا﴿23﴾ط

جَهَنَّم,
نَار,
خَلَدَ,
رَسِلَ,
بَلَغَ,
عَصَى,
أَبَدَ,
Except (that I perform) preaching from Allah and His messages. Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, for him is the Fire of Hell, in which they will live forever.”
24

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْا۟ مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًۭا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدًۭا﴿24﴾

عَلِمَ,
ضَلَّ,
وَعَدَ,
رَأَى,
نَصَرَ,
عَدَّ,
حَتَّى,
ضَعُفَ,
قَلَّ,
Until they see what is being promised, they will know who is weaker in help and lower in numbers.
25

قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌۭ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُۥ رَبِّىٓ أَمَدًا﴿25﴾

جَعَلَ,
وَعَدَ,
قَالَ,
دَرَى,
قَرُبَ,
أَ مَدْ,
رَبَّ,
Say, “I do not know if what is being promised to you is near or if my Rabb has made it after a span of time.”
26

عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا﴿26﴾لا

أَ جَل,
غَابَ,
أ حد,
عَلِمَ,
ظَهَرَ,
He knows the unseen, so nothing can appear (be revealed) to anyone what He has concealed.
27

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍۢ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًۭا﴿27﴾لا

يَدَيَ,
سَلَكَ,
بَا نَ,
رَسِلَ,
رَضِيَ,
خَلَفَ,
رَصَدَ,
Except whom He accepted as His Messenger. Then, he will be followed front and back in observance (to be guarded and protected from all sides).
28

لِّيَعْلَمَ أَن قَدْ أَبْلَغُوا۟ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ عَدَدًۢا﴿28﴾2ع

عَلِمَ,
شِاءَ,
بَلَغَ,
حصى,
عَدَّ,
رَسِلَ,
حَاطَ,
كُلَّ,
لَدَى,
رَبَّ,
To know that they have entirely delivered Messages of their Rabb. And He encompasses what they have and Has accounted for everything in number.
