سورة المعارج - 70 - |
||
|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
سَأَلَ سَآئِلٌۢ بِعَذَابٍۢ وَاقِعٍۢ﴿1﴾لا |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Inquired (asked) a questioner about the fact of punishment. (Inquired about whether the punishment would be imposed.). | ||
| 2 |
لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٌۭ﴿2﴾لا |
كَفَرَ,
|
| For the ungrateful, nothing can avert it (drive away). | ||
| 3 |
مِّنَ ٱللّٰهِ ذِى ٱلْمَعَارِجِ﴿3﴾ط |
عَرَجَ,
|
| From Allah, Rabb of the Ascension (High). | ||
| 4 |
تَعْرُجُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍۢ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍۢ﴿4﴾ج |
أَلْف,
|
| The angels and the souls ascend to Him in a period (like) with the count of fifty thousand years. | ||
| 5 |
فَٱصْبِرْ صَبْرًۭا جَمِيلًا﴿5﴾ |
صَبَرَ,
|
| So, be patient, (with) beautiful patience. | ||
| 6 |
إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُۥ بَعِيدًۭا﴿6﴾لا |
رَأَى,
|
| Indeed, they see it far away. | ||
| 7 |
وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبًۭا﴿7﴾ط |
قَرُبَ,
|
| But We see it close. | ||
| 8 |
يَوْمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلْمُهْلِ﴿8﴾لا |
سَمَا,
|
| On the Day when the sky will be like molten copper. | ||
| 9 |
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ﴿9﴾لا |
جَبَلَ,
|
| And the mountains will be like tufted wool. | ||
| 10 |
وَلَا يَسْـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًۭا﴿10﴾ج صلے |
سَأَلَ,
|
| No guardian (protector) will ask about his guarded (protected). | ||
| 11 |
يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ ۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِى مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍۭ بِبَنِيهِ﴿11﴾لا |
عَذُبَ,
|
| They will be made to see each other; the criminal will desire to offer his children as a sacrifice to be saved from punishment on the Day. | ||
| 12 |
وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ﴿12﴾لا |
أ خو,
|
| And his companion (wife) and his brother. | ||
| 13 |
وَفَصِيلَتِهِ ٱلَّتِى تُـْٔوِيهِ﴿13﴾لا |
فَصَلَ,
|
| And the group that sheltered him. | ||
| 14 |
وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ﴿14﴾لا |
أَ رَضْ,
|
| And whatever is on the earth altogether to rescue him. | ||
| 15 |
كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ﴿15﴾لا |
لَظِيَ,
|
| Certainly not! That is the Blaze! | ||
| 16 |
نَزَّاعَةًۭ لِّلشَّوَىٰ﴿16﴾ج صلے |
نَزَعَ,
|
| Pulling out the roasted meat. | ||
| 17 |
تَدْعُوا۟ مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ﴿17﴾لا |
دَعَا,
|
| Calling upon the person who turned their back and ran away (from the truth). | ||
| 18 |
وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَىٰٓ﴿18﴾ |
جَمَعَ,
|
| And collected and contained (hoarded). | ||
| 19 |
۞ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا﴿19﴾لا |
خَلَقَ,
|
| Indeed, humankind was created impatient (restless, anxious). | ||
| 20 |
إِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ جَزُوعًۭا﴿20﴾لا |
مَسَّ,
|
| When ill touches him, he becomes saddened. | ||
| 21 |
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا﴿21﴾لا |
مَسَّ,
|
| When good touches him, he becomes inaccessible. | ||
| 22 |
إِلَّا ٱلْمُصَلِّينَ﴿22﴾لا |
صلو,
|
| Except for those who pray. | ||
| 23 |
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَآئِمُونَ﴿23﴾ص لا |
صلو,
|
| Those who remain steadfast in their prayers. | ||
| 24 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ﴿24﴾ص لا |
مَال,
|
| Those who have (assigned) known rights in their wealth. | ||
| 25 |
لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ﴿25﴾ص لا |
سَأَلَ,
|
| For the requester (who asks, begs) and the deprived (unable to meet his needs or those excluded in the distribution of wealth). | ||
| 26 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ﴿26﴾ص لا |
صَدَقَ,
|
| And those who testify (with a certainty of belief and confirm) for the Day of the Last Judgment. | ||
| 27 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ﴿27﴾ج |
عَذُبَ,
|
| And those who are on guard (beware) of the punishment of their Rabb. | ||
| 28 |
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍۢ﴿28﴾ |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Indeed, the punishment of their Rabb is with no peace and safety (not to be perceived lightly). | ||
| 29 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَٰفِظُونَ﴿29﴾لا |
حَفِظَ,
|
| And those who are protectors of their (modesty) openings. | ||
| 30 |
إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ﴿30﴾ج |
مَلَكَ,
|
| Except for their wives or what their right hands own, then they are not blamed. | ||
| 31 |
فَمَنِ ٱبْتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْعَادُونَ﴿31﴾ج |
وَرَى,
|
| But whoever desires beyond that exceeds the boundaries (go beyond limits). | ||
| 32 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَٰعُونَ﴿32﴾ص لا |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| And those who guard their trusts and their oaths. | ||
| 33 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمْ قَآئِمُونَ﴿33﴾ص لا |
قَامَ,
|
| And those who stand up for their testimonies (witnesses). | ||
| 34 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ﴿34﴾ط |
حَفِظَ,
|
| And those who protect their prayers. | ||
| 35 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ مُّكْرَمُونَ﴿35﴾ط 1ع |
كَرُمَ,
|
| They will be honored in gardens (of paradise). | ||
| 36 |
فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ﴿36﴾لا |
كَفَرَ,
|
| What is with those nonbelievers standing before you, protruding their necks (outstretching their necks, staring at you)? | ||
| 37 |
عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ﴿37﴾ |
يَمَنَ,
|
| From the right and the left, charging together? | ||
| 38 |
أَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٍۢ﴿38﴾لا |
طَمِعَ,
|
| "Does every man among them desire to enter the Blessed Garden?" | ||
| 39 |
كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿39﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| No indeed! We created them from what they know. | ||
| 40 |
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ وَٱلْمَغَٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَٰدِرُونَ﴿40﴾لا |
قَسَمَ,
|
| Then no, I take an oath by the Rabb of the East and the West that We have the capability. | ||
| 41 |
عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيْرًۭا مِّنْهُمْ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ﴿41﴾ |
خَيرَ,
|
| On that, We can replace them with those better than them, and We will not be overtaken (We Can take them out and bring new nations). | ||
| 42 |
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا۟ وَيَلْعَبُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ﴿42﴾لا |
وَعَدَ,
|
| So, leave them engaging and playing until they meet on the promised day. | ||
| 43 |
يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًۭا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٍۢ يُوفِضُونَ﴿43﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| The Day they will emerge from their graves in haste like they were concluding (reaching an end) to a (post erected) target. | ||
| 44 |
خَٰشِعَةً أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌۭ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ﴿44﴾2ع |
بَصُرَ,
|
| Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation will exhaust them - the day they were promised. |
