كِتَابٌ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ فَلَا يَكُن فِي صَدْرِكَ حَرَجٌ مِّنْهُ لِتُنذِرَ بِهِ وَذِكْرَى لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

أَ مُنَ,
صَدَرَ,
إِلَى,
كَانَ,
A Book sent down to you, so let this not be a hardship in your heart. You are to warn with this and (make this Book) a reminder for the believers.
3

اتَّبِعُواْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ ؕ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ

إِلَى,
وَلِيَ,
دُون,
رَبَّ,
Follow what has been sent down to you from your Rabb, and do not follow other than Him (as) guardians. Rarely do you remember?
4

وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا فَجَاءهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ

قَرَى,
بَأْ س- بَؤُ سَ,
هَلَكَ,
جَاءَ,
بَا تَ,
قَيْل,
How many townships (communities) have We destroyed? Then came our calamities by night or when they were having midday naps.
5

فَمَا كَانَ دَعْوَاهُمْ إِذْ جَاءهُمْ بَأْسُنَا إِلَّا أَن قَالُواْ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

قَالَ,
بَأْ س- بَؤُ سَ,
دَعَا,
جَاءَ,
ظَلَمَ,
كَانَ,
Then their only call was when sufferings came to them from Us; they only said, “We have been unjust.”
6

فَلَنَسْأَلَنَّ الَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْأَلَنَّ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ۙ

رَسِلَ,
سَأَلَ,
رَسِلَ,
إِلَى,
Surely, We will question those, whom Messengers were sent, and We will question the Messengers.
7

فَلَنَقُصَّنَّ عَلَيْهِم بِعِلْمٍ وَمَا كُنَّا غَآئِبِينَ

عَلِمَ,
قَصَّ,
غَابَ,
كَانَ,
Surely, We will narrate with knowledge (narrate a full account of what they did), and We were not absent.
8

وَالْوَزْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ ۚ فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

حَقَّ,
يَوْم,
قَالَ,
وَزَنَ,
فًلَحَ,
ثَقَلَ,
And that day's weight (balance) will be the truth (justice). Then those with heavyweight (weigh in with balance, heaviness) will benefit.
9

وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُواْ أَنفُسَهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يِظْلِمُونَ

And whoever has a lightweight (insignificant) in his balance will be losers in themselves because they have been unjust with our signs-verses.
10

وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّاكُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ ؕ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ ࣖ

We firmly established you in the earth, and We made means of sustenance (income, livelihood) in it, but rarely do you give thanks.
11

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ صَوَّرْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلآئِكَةِ اسْجُدُواْ لِآدَمَ ۖ ࣗ فَسَجَدُواْ إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ ؕ لَمْ يَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ

إِبْلِيسَ,
Certainly, We created you; then we gave shape to you, then we said to the angels, “Prostrate to Adam,” so they prostrated, except Iblis; he was not among those who prostrated.
12

قَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَلاَّ تَسْجُدَ إِذْ أَمَرْتُكَ ؕ قَالَ أَنَاْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ ۚ خَلَقْتَنِي مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِن طِينٍ

He (Allah) said, “What has prevented you that you do not prostrate when you are ordered?” He (Iblis) said, “I am better than him; You created me from fire, and You created him from clay.”
13

قَالَ فَاهْبِطْ مِنْهَا فَمَا يَكُونُ لَكَ أَن تَتَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا فَاخْرُجْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الصَّاغِرِينَ

He (Allah) said, “Descend from here! It is not for you to be arrogant here, so get out! Indeed, You will be of the lowly!”
14

قَالَ أَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

قَالَ,
يَوْم,
نَظَرَ,

He (Iblis) said, “Then because of how You have let me get captured in a pitfall, I will sit for them in Your straight path.
17

Then he (Shaytan) led them with deceit. And when they tasted the tree, their disadvantages appeared to them, and they suddenly began to fasten (put cover) on them from the garden leaves. And their Rabb called them, “Did I not forbid you from this tree, and I told you that the shaytan is a manifested (evident) enemy for you?”
23

قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا ࣝ وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

28

Qaisrani 10/11/2021 11:05:09 PM
Dear Admin, you have written صدق الله العظيم as part of every sorah and even given it an ayat number while it is not part of the Quran. The Holy Quran does not have this verse and there is no example of writing these words in the Quran so please remove this as it is a kind of tehreef.JazakAllah

Response:

Assalam u Alakum Qaisrani, We appreciate your comment. The line صدق الله العظيم, ALLAH HAS SPOKEN THE GREATEST TRUTH, was added to be read after the recitation of Al-Quran as a regular practice. We agree with your comment that these lines are not part of Al-Quran and should not number as a continuation of Ayats. We will remove these lines on the next upgrade. It has become part of the database at present, and for now, we will add clarifications to these lines. Please let us know if you find any other mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Mashaa Allah may Allah rewards you for the great works. Is it possible if it also contains arabic to arabic dictionary and perhaps later we can also do the etimology study of each of the quranic words original meaning

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Luqman Abdurahman We received the Message of Al-Quran from Prophet Muhammed Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam : صلى الله عليه و سلم also ﷺ) . Its a stunning work. i am learning arabic and deeply interested to speak fluently. If you can provide the linking pages as text reference, will be a great boon for us. through that we can also search for any words that appear in texts and refer back to the root. it is also the reverse way. But now the linked dictionary pages are in pdf or image only ref. But thanks very much for this wonderful work. Ifyou can make a tool out of it..we can contribute to it as i know time is spent very much on it.

Response:

Assalamu’alaikum Babu, It is our blessing from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, that He sent us His Great Messenger, Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu hu Alaihi Wassalam, with Quran. It is Guidance for our lives. We must understand, each word of Quran, and ask for His guidance, Forgiveness and Acceptance. We thank you for your comments of encouragement. We want to keep the dictionary in original format, and the great work done by author Maan Zulfi Madina and Columbia University. We do have plan to digitize the dictionary later if the permission is granted. Please continue to use the website and send us recommendations. Please share the website with others. Jazakallah

Salam - For the last 10 years I have been searching for a similar tool that can connect the Quranic ayats with their root words. This is a revolutionary tool that truly fulfils the gap in understanding that existed between the meaning and spirt of each ayat. After gaining this deeper level of understanding the process of reading quran becomes a process which is a dialogue between your soul and Allah. Now i understand why this message was such a transformational tool in the lives of sahaba since they understood the root meaning of quranic ayats. I feel like this is the need of the hour and this tool will truly helps us in establishing and connecting back to our true ibrahimic roots. I would like to send my deepest gratitude to team behind this master piece.May the ummah benefit from this revolutionary tool.

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Waleed, We received the Message of Al-Quran from Prophet Muhammad Salla-Allahu Alayhi Wasallam, and this is our blessing in our life, and to Thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. All we can do is to try understanding His Message and ask for His Forgiveness. Your comments were encouraging; we are working on the next phase of update where we will add few more words and few corrections, along with links of dictionary pages enabled, just by hovering over the Ayats. Please let us know if you find any mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. JAK.

Salam - JazakAllahu Khairan for operating this website. It is very helpful in learning the root words that are associated with the ayats of the quran. I noticed today that the links to the dictionary are not working. I am not sure if it is only me who is seeing this or others are experiencing the same issue. Regards

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Kashif The Website is working good, sometimes the links takes time to respond and open the page of the dictionary. If you wait or login again it should resolve the issue. Keep us informed if you find that word links are not responding. We are working on upgrades where each word will be directly linked to Dictionary. JAK
