||
||
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1 |
|
Glorifys for Allah, whatever is in the universe and the earth. He is the Most Powerful, the Wisest.
2 |
|
He is the One who first drew out all nonbelievers among the people of the Book from their homes together. You did not think they would come out, and they thought they were protected in their fortresses from Allah. But Allah came to them from where they did not expect and threw fear in their hearts. Their homes were destroyed by their (own) hands and (also) by the hands of the believers. Then, take warning, O you with the insight (perception). ( Ghazwa Banu Nazir 4 Hijri, Hypocrites of Medina promised Banu Nazir (Jewish tribe) that hypocrites would help Banu Nazir fight against Muslims, but hypocrites did not help when Muslims surrounded Banu Nazir).
3 |
|
Had Allah not written (decided) for them to immigrate, He would have punished them in this world. But for them in the Hereafter is a punishment of the Fire.
4 |
|
That is because they have opposed Allah and His Messenger. Whoever opposes Allah, Allah is severe in following the punishment (inflicting penalty).
5 |
|
Whether you cut down from the soft (tender trees) or leave it standing on its roots, it is with Allah's permission. He will disgrace the offenders.
6 |
|
And whatever Allah has granted (as booty) to His messenger from them, you were not treating harshly (you were not struggling hard enough) with horses and raiding (you did not embark to fight on horses as cavalry or to ride on camels to raid). But Allah gave authority to His Messengers over whomever He desired. Allah has Power over Everything.
7 |
|
Whatever Allah granted (as booty) to His Messenger from the people of the town is for Allah, and His Messenger, and for those who are close, and for the orphans, and the poor, and the travelers; so, that it (wealth) does not remain circulating between the richer among you. Whatever Messenger has given you, take it; and whatever he prevented you, be limited (limit yourself with what Messenger has allocated to you). And fear Allah. Allah is Severe in the Punishment.
8 |
|
The poor immigrants who were driven out of their homes and properties as they sought favors from Allah and His Acceptance and helped Allah and His Messenger. Those are truthful.
9 |
|
And those who inhabited the home (settled earlier) before and believed. They love those who immigrated to them and do not find any need in their hearts for what those (immigrants) are given. They prefer them over themselves, even though they are poor themselves. Whoever guards his desires (to gain advantages) will be beneficial.
10 |
|
And those who came after them (become believers later), saying, “O our Rabb, forgive us, and our brothers who preceded in believing and do not let our hearts have malice for those who believe. Our Rabb, You are Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
11 |
|
Do you not see those who became hypocrites? Saying to their nonbelieving brothers (and they were) of the people of the Book, “If you get expelled, we will go out with you, and we will not follow (against) you anyone else ever; and if you fight, we will certainly help you.” But Allah bears witness that they are liars.
12 |
|
If they are expelled, they will not go out with them, and if they fight anyone, they will not help them; if they help, they will surely turn their backs and flee; after that, they will not be helped.
13 |
|
Indeed, you put more severe fear in their hearts from Allah. That is because they are a nation that does not comprehend.
14 |
|
They will not fight you together, except in a protected (fortified) city or behind the walls. Their hate among them is more severe than you consider them united, and their hearts are dispersed. That is because they are a nation that does not understand.
15 |
|
As the example of those before them in nearby (history), they tasted (experienced) the conditions (results) of their decisions. For them, there is a painful punishment.
16 |
|
Like the Shaitan when he says to humankind, “Be ungrateful.” Then (but) when he (human) became ungrateful, he (Shaitan) says, “I am absolved (free myself) from you; I fear Allah, the Rabb of All Universe.
17 |
|
Then both of them will end in the Fire, where they will live forever. That is the reward of the unjust.
18 |
|
O you, those who believe! Fear Allah, look (and be sure) at your soul, consider what it has forwarded for tomorrow, and fear Allah. Allah Knows what you do.
19 |
|
And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so, He made them forget themselves (to care for the results of their deeds). Those are the ones who lead rebellious (sinful) lives.
20 |
|
The companions of the Fire are not equal to the companions of Paradise. Companions of Paradise are successful.
21 |
|
If We had sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would have seen it in submission, breaking from humbleness to Allah. These are the examples that We give to humankind so that they may think.
22 |
|
There is no God except Him. He is Allah. He Knows the invisible and the visible. He is the Most Merciful and Compassionate.
23 |
|
He is Allah; there is no God except Him; He is the King, the Holy, the Giver of Peace, the Protector, the Most Powerful, the Omnipotent, the Almighty. ALL Praises to Allah. He is above what they make partners with Him.
24 |
|
He is Allah, the Creator, the Originator, and the Giver of Shapes (sizes, forms, fashion). For Him are the best names. Whatever is in the universe and the earth praises Him. He is the Most Powerful, the Wisest. |

Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:

It is Guidance for our lives. We must understand, each word of Quran, and ask for His guidance, Forgiveness and Acceptance. We thank you for your comments of encouragement. We want to keep the dictionary in original format, and the great work done by author Maan Zulfi Madina and Columbia University. We do have plan to digitize the dictionary later if the permission is granted. Please continue to use the website and send us recommendations. Please share the website with others. Walakum Assalam, Kashif The Website is working good, sometimes the links takes time to respond and open the page of the dictionary. If you wait or login again it should resolve the issue. Keep us informed if you find that word links are not responding. We are working on upgrades where each word will be directly linked to Dictionary. JAKResponse:
