سورة الطور - 52 -

بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1

وَٱلطُّورِ﴿1﴾لا

طَوْر,
By the oath of Mount Sinai (by the changing phase, time).
2

وَكِتَٰبٍۢ مَّسْطُورٍۢ﴿2﴾لا

كَتَبَ,
سَطَرَ,
By the oath of written (recorded) Book.
3

فِى رَقٍّۢ مَّنشُورٍۢ﴿3﴾لا

نَشَرَ,
رَقَّ,
In a scroll that is published. (In a stiff, flat thin material made from the prepared skin of an animal and used as a durable writing surface in ancient and medieval times that is published).
4

وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ﴿4﴾لا

بَا تَ,
عَمَرَ,
By the oath of Home that flourished. (House that is inhabited, civilized, constructed, & populated).
5

وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ﴿5﴾لا

سَقَفَ,
رَفَعَ,
By the oath of the ceiling (sky), it raised high.
6

وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ﴿6﴾لا

بَحَرَ,
By the oath of the swollen sea. (Abnormally high water levels pushed ahead of storms or hurricanes. Storm surge with large, destructive waves that will cause catastrophic damage).
7

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ﴿7﴾لا

عَذُبَ,
وَقَعَ,
رَبَّ,
Indeed, Punishment of your Rabb will occur.
8

مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٍۢ﴿8﴾لا

دَفَعَ,
Nothing can repel this (push back, drive away).
9

يَوْمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوْرًۭا﴿9﴾لا

سَمَا,
يَوْم,
مَرَّ,
On the Day, the transition of the sky (will be) in transition.
10

وَتَسِيرُ ٱلْجِبَالُ سَيْرًۭا﴿10﴾ط

جَبَلَ,
سَارَ,
The motion of the mountains will be started. (The mountains will move).
11

فَوَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿11﴾لا

وَيْل,
كَذَبَ,
يَوْم,
So, the calamity on that Day for the liars.
12

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى خَوْضٍۢ يَلْعَبُونَ﴿12﴾م

لَعِبَ,
خَاضَ,
Those who are absorbed (rushed, plunged, engaged) in playing.
13

يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا﴿13﴾ط

جَهَنَّم,
نَار,
يَوْم,
دَعَا,
إِلَى,
On Day they will be summoned to the Fire of Hell forcefully.
14

هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ﴿14﴾

نَار,
كَذَبَ,
كَانَ,
“This is the Fire that you were in denial.
15

أَفَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ﴿15﴾ج

بَصُرَ,
سَحَرَ,
Is this magic, or do you not see?
16

ٱصْلَوْهَا فَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴿16﴾

عَمِلَ,
صَبَرَ,
جَزَى,
صَلَى,
سَوِيَ,
كَانَ,
Burn-in there. Whether you become patient or not, it is the same (equal) for you. You are being rewarded with what you were doing.”
17

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَنَعِيمٍۢ﴿17﴾لا

جَنَّ,
تَقَى,
نَعَمَ,
Indeed (but) the devout (God-fearing) will be in the gardens with the blessing (comforts and good provisions).
18

فَٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿18﴾

عَذُبَ,
جَحَمَ,
فَكِهَ,
أَتَى,
يَقِنَ,
وَقَى,
In amusement because of what was given to them by their Rabb, and their Rabb saved (protected) them from the punishment of Hell.
19

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴿19﴾لا

عَمِلَ,
أَكَلَ,
شَرِبَ,
هَنَأَ,
كَانَ,
Eat and drink in happiness because of what you were doing.
20

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مَّصْفُوفَةٍۢ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍۢ﴿20﴾

سَرَّ,
عين,
صَفَّ,
زَاجَ,
مَكُنَ,
حَارَ,
Firmly established on the lined-up sofa, We will marry them with the Virgins of Paradise.
21

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَٰنٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَآ أَلَتْنَٰهُم مِّنْ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌۭ﴿21﴾

أَ مَرَ,
تَبِعَ,
شِاءَ,
لَحِقَ,
كَسَبَ,
ذَرَّ,
أَ مُنَ,
رَهَنَ,
عَمِلَ,
كُلَّ,
أَلَا,
مَرَأَ,
Those who believed and their families who followed them in faith will join them with their offspring, and We will not neglect anything in their deeds. Every soul is pledged (conditioned) to what he has earned.
22

وَأَمْدَدْنَٰهُم بِفَٰكِهَةٍۢ وَلَحْمٍۢ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ﴿22﴾

فَكِهَ,
لَحَمَ,
مَدَّ,
شَهَا,
شَفِقَ,
And We will supply them with fruits and meats and whatever they desire.
23

يَتَنَٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًۭا لَّا لَغْوٌۭ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌۭ﴿23﴾

نَزَعَ,
أَثِمَ,
لَغَا,
كَأْس,
They will exchange glasses (for drinks), which will neither cause them to speak null nor sin.
24

۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌۭ لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ﴿24﴾

طَافَ,
غَلِمَ,
لَأْلَا,
كَنَّ,
And youthful servants will be making rounds on them (to serve); for them, they will be like hidden pearls.
25

وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ﴿25﴾

بَعَضَ,
قَبِلَ,
سَأَلَ,
بَعَضَ,
Someone will approach others and ask them a question.
26

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِىٓ أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ﴿26﴾

قَالَ,
قَبِلَ,
شَفِقَ,
أهَلَ,
كَانَ,
They will say, “Before this, we were compassionate to our families.
27

فَمَنَّ ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ﴿27﴾

عَذُبَ,
مَنَّ,
سَمَّ,
وَقَى,
Then Allah favored us and saved us from the punishment of the Fiery Wind.
28

إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿28﴾1ع

دَعَا,
قَبِلَ,
رَحِمَ,
بَرَّ,
كَانَ,
We used to call Him before this. He is the One who is the Most Kind, the Most Merciful.”
29

فَذَكِّرْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍۢ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ﴿29﴾ط

نَعَمَ,
جَنَّ,
ذَكّرَ,
رَبَّ,
كَهَنَ,
So, remember, With your Rabb's grace, you are neither a fortune teller nor possessed.
30

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌۭ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيْبَ ٱلْمَنُونِ﴿30﴾

رَابَ,
قَالَ,
رَبَصَ,
مَنَا,
شَعَرَ,
Or do they say, “He is a poet; we are waiting for him to be afflicted with misfortune”?
31

قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا۟ فَإِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ﴿31﴾ط

رَبَصَ,
قَالَ,
مَعَ,
رَبَّ,
Say, “You wait; I am waiting with you.”
32

أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَٰمُهُم بِهَٰذَآ ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌۭ طَاغُونَ﴿32﴾ج

أَ مَرَ,
قَامَ,
طَغَا,
Or do they get instructions in their dreams for this? Or are they transgressing people?
33

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥ ۚ بَل لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿33﴾ج

قَالَ,
أَ مُنَ,
Or do they say, “These are his sayings”? But they do not believe.
34

فَلْيَأْتُوا۟ بِحَدِيثٍۢ مِّثْلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُوا۟ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿34﴾ط

صَدَقَ,
حَدَثَ,
مَثَلَ,
أَتَى,
كَانَ,
So, let them bring conversation (Ayats of the Quran) like this if they are truthful.
35

أَمْ خُلِقُوا۟ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَىْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰلِقُونَ﴿35﴾ط

شِاءَ,
خَلَقَ,
غير,
Or were they created out of anything else? Or are they the creators?
36

أَمْ خَلَقُوا۟ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ﴿36﴾ط

يَقِنَ,
سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
Or did they create the universe and the earth? But, they do not have certainty in their knowledge.
37

أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ﴿37﴾ط

خَزَنَ,
عَنَدَ,
رَبَّ,
سَطَرَ,
Or with them are the treasures of your Rabb? Or are they the rulers?
38

أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌۭ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُم بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍ﴿38﴾ط

سُلَط,
بَا نَ,
سَمَعَ,
سَلِمَ,
أَتَى,
Or do they have ladders with them, which they (climb high and) listen to? Then let them bring what they have heard with clear proof.
39

أَمْ لَهُ ٱلْبَنَٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ﴿39﴾ط

اِبْن,
Or for Him are the daughters, and for you are the sons?
40

أَمْ تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ أَجْرًۭا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍۢ مُّثْقَلُونَ﴿40﴾ط

سَأَلَ,
أَجَرَ,
ثَقَلَ,
غَرِمَ,
Or do you ask them for a reward, so they are loaded with its burden?
41

أَمْ عِندَهُمُ ٱلْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ﴿41﴾ط

كَتَبَ,
غَابَ,
عَنَدَ,
Or do they know the unseen (unknown, unseen knowledge) and write it down?
42

أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًۭا ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ﴿42﴾ط

كَفَرَ,
رَادَ,
كَيدَ,
Or do they aim for a conspiracy so those nonbelievers conspire?
43

أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ﴿43﴾

إِله,
سَبَحَ,
شَرِكَ,
عَنْ,
Or do they have gods other than Allah? Praise Allah; He is above what they make partners. (He Does Not need any partner).
44

وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كِسْفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطًۭا يَقُولُوا۟ سَحَابٌۭ مَّرْكُومٌۭ﴿44﴾

قَالَ,
سَمَا,
رَأَى,
سَحَبَ,
كَسَفَ,
سَقَطَ,
رَكَمَ,
And if they see a piece of the sky falling, they will say, “This is a stacked cloud.”
45

فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يُصْعَقُونَ﴿45﴾لا

يَوْم,
وَذَرَ,
صَعَقَ,
لَقِيَ,
حَتَّى,
So, leave them until they meet the Day they will be stunned (destroyed).
46

يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ﴿46﴾ط

نَصَرَ,
شِاءَ,
يَوْم,
غَنِيَ,
كَيدَ,
The Day when nothing will avail them in their conspiracy, and they will not be helped.
47

وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ عَذَابًۭا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿47﴾

عَلِمَ,
ظَلَمَ,
عَذُبَ,
كَثَرَ,
ذَا,
دُون,
For those who were unjust (there will be) is a punishment other than that, but many of them do not know.
48

وَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ﴿48﴾لا

صَبَرَ,
حَكَمَ,
عين,
حَمِدَ,
سَبَحَ,
قَامَ,
حَانَ,
رَبَّ,
So, be patient with the Judgment (Command) of your Rabb, for you are in (front of) our eyes, and glorify by praising your Rabb when you rise.
49

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ﴿49﴾2ع

سَبَحَ,
لَيْل,
نَجَمَ,
دَبَرَ,
And in the night, praise Him and at the returning of the stars (before sunrise).
