سورة الحجرات - 49 - |

|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
۞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ ٱللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿1﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you who believe! Do not put yourselves before Allah and His Messenger, but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing and All-Knowing. | ||
| 2 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَرْفَعُوٓا۟ أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ ٱلنَّبِىِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا۟ لَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ﴿2﴾ |
شَعَرَ,
|
| O you, who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet, and do not publicly call him with words (with loud voices) as you call each other, lest your deeds get destroyed while you are unaware. | ||
| 3 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَٰتَهُمْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللّٰهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱمْتَحَنَ ٱللّٰهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ﴿3﴾ |
غَفَرَ,
|
| The hearts of those who lower their voices in the presence of the Messenger of Allah are examined by Allah (Allah tests them) for piety (devoutness, God-fearing) -for them is forgiveness and great reward. | ||
| 4 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلْحُجُرَٰتِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ﴿4﴾ |
وَرَى,
|
| People who call you from behind the rooms (chambers) are not reasonable (intelligent, wise). | ||
| 5 |
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُمْ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿5﴾ |
غَفَرَ,
|
| It would be best for them to wait patiently until you come out to them. But Allah is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. | ||
| 6 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَإٍۢ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ أَن تُصِيبُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍۢ فَتُصْبِحُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَٰدِمِينَ﴿6﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you, those who believe! When the unrighteous come to you with news, confirm with the clear proof (get it checked with indisputable evidence); otherwise, you may be (wrongly) aiming (going after) the nation in ignorance, and you will regret what you have done. | ||
| 7 |
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِى كَثِيرٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْإِيمَٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْكُفْرَ وَٱلْفُسُوقَ وَٱلْعِصْيَانَ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ﴿7﴾لا |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And know that the Messenger of Allah is among you. You will be in difficulty if he follows many of you in decisions. But Allah loves you for being faithful, making it pleasing in your hearts, and making you dislike ungratefulness, immorality, and disobedience. Those are on a rightly guided path. | ||
| 8 |
فَضْلًۭا مِّنَ ٱللّٰهِ وَنِعْمَةًۭ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌۭ﴿8﴾ |
فَضَلَ,
|
| Favor from Allah and His blessings. Allah is All-Knowing, with All the Wisdom. | ||
| 9 |
وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِى تَبْغِى حَتَّىٰ تَفِىٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمْرِ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ فَإِن فَآءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوٓا۟ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ﴿9﴾ |
حَبَّ,
|
| If there are disputes between two believers, then resolve between them. But if one oppresses the other, fight the oppressor until he returns to follow the commands of Allah. If returned, then make peace between them with justice and fairness. Allah loves those who act with fairness. | ||
| 10 |
إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌۭ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ﴿10﴾1ع |
تَقَى,
|
| The believers are brothers, so make peace between your brothers and fear Allah so you will have Mercy from Allah. | ||
| 11 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌۭ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونُوا۟ خَيْرًۭا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَآءٌۭ مِّن نِّسَآءٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًۭا مِّنْهُنَّ ۖ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا۟ بِٱلْأَلْقَٰبِ ۖ بِئْسَ ٱلِٱسْمُ ٱلْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ ٱلْإِيمَٰنِ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ﴿11﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you who believe! A nation should not mock other nation; perhaps they are better than them. Nor shall women mock other women; maybe they are better than them. Nor shall you attach (attribute) yourself and not insult one another with insulting names (nicknames). The evil names are wickedness after faith. Whoever does not repent, then those are unjust. | ||
| 12 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثْمٌۭ ۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا۟ وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًۭا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ تَوَّابٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿12﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you who believe! Avoid many opinions (guessing); some views are sinful and do not intrigue. And do not backbite (slander, defame) one another. Would any of you like to eat the dead meat of his brother? (like a dead body that cannot defend against slander). You would hate that. So, fear Allah. Allah is Most Merciful and Accepts the Repentance. | ||
| 13 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍۢ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَٰكُمْ شُعُوبًۭا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ أَتْقَىٰكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌۭ﴿13﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| O you, humankind! We created you from males and females and made you into races and tribes to be acquainted with each other. (The exchange of knowledge and skills among different cultures has greatly benefited human civilization. Advancements in research and global interaction have improved human lives.) The respected among you near Allah is the more pious (devoted to Allah and God-fearing). Allah is All-Knowing and All-Informed. | ||
| 14 |
۞ قَالَتِ ٱلْأَعْرَابُ ءَامَنَّا ۖ قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ وَلَٰكِن قُولُوٓا۟ أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تُطِيعُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَا يَلِتْكُم مِّنْ أَعْمَٰلِكُمْ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ﴿14﴾ |
دَخَلَ,
|
| The Arab Bedouins say, “We believe.” Say, “You do not believe, but say, ‘We are Muslim (submitted),’ and the belief has not entered your hearts. But if you follow Allah and His Messenger, your deeds will not be reduced in anything. Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful.” | ||
| 15 |
إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ﴿15﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| The believers believe in Allah and His Messenger, and after that, they did not doubt and strived with their wealth and with themselves (their lives) in Allah's cause (path). Those are truthful. | ||
| 16 |
قُلْ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ ٱللّٰهَ بِدِينِكُمْ وَٱللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿16﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Say, “Do you inform Allah about your faith when Allah already knows what is in the universe and the earth, and Allah Knows everything?” | ||
| 17 |
يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا۟ ۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَىَّ إِسْلَٰمَكُم ۖ بَلِ ٱللّٰهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَىٰكُمْ لِلْإِيمَٰنِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿17﴾ |
صَدَقَ,
|
| They considered it a favor to you that they were Muslims (embraced Islam). Say, “You are not doing me a favor with your beliefs, but Allah has favored you, and He Guided you with faith if you are truthful.” | ||
| 18 |
إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ﴿18﴾2ع |
عَمِلَ,
|
