|
The revelation of the Book (Al-Quran) is from Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise.
3 |
|
We did not create the universe and the earth and what is between them except with truth (with real consequences) and to end after a definite appointed time. But nonbelievers oppose this warning. (turn away).

|
Say, "Have you seen what you invoke besides Allah? Could you show me what they have created on the earth? Or are they partners in the universe (who creates)? Bring me the Book before this, or remnants of knowledge (that shows, others who create) if you are truthful."
5 |
|
Who is more astray than him who calls, to other than Allah, those who do not respond for him until the Day of Standing and are inattentive (unaware) of their call?
6 |
|
And when humankind is gathered, they (who were called other than Allah) will become enemies (archenemy, hostile) to them, and they will be unbelievers of being. (Worshipping anyone other than Allah is incorrect. They will become hostile if anyone worshipped besides Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala).
7 |
|
When Our verses are recited to them as truth, and when the truth becomes clear to them, those who are nonbelievers say “This is a clear magic.”
8 |
|
Or do they say, “He fabricated this”? Say, "If I were to fabricate this, then you would not have the power to protect me from Allah in any thing".He knows more about this than what you speak in detail (in great detail). He is A sufficient witness between you and me about this. He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
9 |
|
Say, “I am not the first to be a Messenger, and I do not know what will happen to me or you. I follow only what is inspired to me and am only a clear Warner.”
10 |
|
Say, “Do you see? What if this is from Allah, and you do not believe in it? A witness testifies from the Children of Israel that this is a similar (message) and believed, while you become arrogant. Allah does not guide the nation of unjust.”
11 |
|
Those nonbelievers say to those who believe, “If there were good (in it), then (why) we would not have followed that.” And when they are not guided by it, they will soon say, “This is an ancient lie.”
12 |
|
And before this (Al-Quran), the Book of Musa served as guidance and mercy. And this Book testifies in the Arabic language to warn those who are unjust and good news for those who are kind.
13 |
|
Those who say, “Our Rabb is Allah,” and after that, they remain steadfast; there is no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
14 |
|
Those are the companions of Paradise, living eternally therein, a reward for what they were doing.
15 |
|
We have advised humankind to be kind to his parents. His mother carried him under hardship (pre-natal difficulties during pregnancy of carrying weight) and gave birth under Pain. She carried and separated him after (complete dependency on feeding and caring) for thirty months. Until he reached forty years, he said, "O my Rabb, allot me so that I thank your provisions for my parents and me and that I do righteous deeds that you accept. And reform my family and me, I repent towards you, and I am from the submitted. [Note: Pain during labor is caused by contractions of the muscles and by pressure. This Pain can be felt as intense cramping in the abdomen, groin, and back, as well as an achy feeling. Other causes of Pain during labor include pressure on the bladder and bowels by the baby's head and the stretching of the birth canal as the baby goes through. Women often find the hardest part of labor not the Pain of each contraction on its own but the fact that they keep coming—and that as labor progresses, there is less and less time between contractions to relax. During the third stage of labor, deliver the placenta].
16 |
|
Those are whom We accept from them the best of what they did, and We forego their misdeeds (they will be) in the companions of Paradise, the true promise, what they were promised.
17 |
|
And for him who said to his parents in displeasure, “Do you (both) promise me that I will be brought out (from the grave) when the generations have already passed before me?” While both parents cry for help from Allah, “Destruction to you! Believe! The promise of Allah is true! But he says, “What is this except the fable myths (stories of the forefathers).”
18 |
|
Those are upon whom the saying is justified, for those communities who passed before them among the jinn and humankind are losers
19 |
|
Everyone has ranks (degrees) according to what they did, and compensation for their deeds, and they will not be treated unjustly.
20 |
|
The non-believers will be brought before the Fire on the Day of Judgment. Your good deeds have vanished along with your worldly lives, and you enjoy worldly pleasures. (As a result), On this day, you will be rewarded with humiliating punishment because of your arrogance without justification and your sinful behavior on earth.
21 |
|
And remember brother Aad, when he warned his nation with Ahqaaf (maybe dunes between Yemen and Ḥaḍramawt, meaning area of death came). The warnings already passed before and after them: “Worship none except Allah; I fear for you the punishment on a tremendous Day.”
22 |
|
They said, “Did you come to us to separate us from our gods? Then bring to us what you are promising to us if you are truthful.”
23 |
|
He said, “Knowledge (of judgment day) is only with Allah, and I communicate to you what message given to me, but I see you are an ignorant nation.”
24 |
|
When they saw it coming into their valleys, they said, “That (cloud of) rainfall is coming for us.” “But that is what you were asking for: there is the wind (with) painful punishment.”
25 |
|
Destroying everything by the command of its Rabb. And in the morning, there remained nothing to see (except) only their (empty) homes. That is how We reward the nation of the sinners.
26 |
|
And indeed, We already established them in (the same way) We established you in this; and We gave them hearing, eyesight, and heart (to see, hear and think that what Most Merciful Has given tools for our benefits and enjoyments and thank Him for His Mercy). But their listening, eyesight, or hearts were not helpful for them in anything. That is because they were arguing with the verses-signs of Allah, and so, they were surrounded by what they were mocking.
27 |
|
And indeed, We have already destroyed dwellings around you, and We turn their attention to the signs (to see ruined cities) so that they may return.
28 |
|
Why did not those regarded as gods besides Allah, who were invoked to draw closer to Allah, come to their assistance? No, they were misled by them. That was their fabrication and what they were lying about.
29 |
|
And (recall) when We send away (departed) towards you a group of jinn, to listen to the Quran. When they were attending (the session), they said, “Listen quietly!” Then, when (the session) was completed, they returned to their nation, warning them.
30 |
|
They said, "O our nation, we listened to a Book sent down after Musa, testifying what was before it (Divine Books). It guides us toward the truth and the straight path."
31 |
|
O our nation, answer the caller of Allah (Prophet Mohammad ﷺ) and believe in Him. He will forgive your sins and protect you from painful punishment.
32 |
|
And he, who does not answer the caller (Prophet Mohammad ﷺ ), of Allah, there is no escape in the earth and no supporter for him other than Him. Those are in clear misguidance.
33 |
|
Do they not see that Allah is the One who created the universe and the earth and did not get tired of their creation, and it is in His power that He gives life to the dead? Certainly, He has control over everything.
34 |
|
On the day when those who did not believe are presented to the Fire: “Is this not the truth?” They will say, “Yes, by our Rabb (this the truth).” He will say, “Then taste the punishment because you were ungrateful.”
35 |
|
So, be patient, as the patience of the determined manifestation of the Messengers, and do not be impatient with them. On the day, they will see what they were promised (they will realize in a short time) that they did not stay except for one hour of the day—(to get) a notification: so who will be destroyed ? except the sinful people. |

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. This task would require a team of scholars to research the historical context and include the latest scientific proofs to explain the definitions and meanings backed by research references. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. We are grateful to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for this blessing and strive to understand His message and seek His forgiveness. We appreciate your encouraging comments. Simply copy the ayat and paste it into Google's translation from Arabic. The Romanized English words will appear below the Arabic ayat. This feature will be helpful for you, and you can also use the listen feature. Additionally, websites offering transliterated Romanized English Quran are available. Assalamualaikum, Thank you for your inquiry. I have used the root for اتقوا as تَقَى; however, وَقَى, has the same meaning when used as a verb. If we use, “those who are afraid of Allah”, we can use وَقَى, as root words. If we use “those who are devout, and pious”, then we can use تَقَى, as the root word. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:
