Ha Meem | ||
2 |
|
The revelation (for you) of the Book (Quran) from Allah, the Most Powerful the Wisest.
3 |
|
There are signs in the universe and the earth for believers.
4 |
|
And in your creation and the animals He spread out, there are signs for the people with firm faith (convinced, absolute certainty).
5 |

And differences in the night and the day, and in what Allah sends down from the sky for the provisions (rain after a drought) that give life to the Earth after its death, and the distribution of winds are signs for the people with wisdom. [( NOTE. A circadian rhythm or circadian cycle, is a natural oscillation that repeats roughly every 24 hours. Circadian rhythms can refer to any process that originates within an organism (i.e., endogenous) and responds to the environment (is entrained by the environment). Circadian rhythms are regulated by a circadian clock whose primary function is to rhythmically co-ordinate biological processes so they occur at the correct time to maximise the fitness of an individual. Circadian rhythms have been widely observed in animals, plants, fungi and cyanobacteria and there is evidence that they evolved independently in each of these kingdoms of life. Ref. Wikipedia. The circulation of winds around the globe due to pressure gradients. The most dramatic variation in the amount of solar energy reaching the Earth’s surface is the difference between the amount of energy arriving at the equator and the amount coming at the poles)].

|
These are the verses-signs (signs like rain and circulation of winds in the previous Ayat) of Allah that We recite to you with the truth. In what (other) speech after (words of) Allah and His signs will they believe?
7 |
|
Destruction for every lying sinner (fabricator of lies).
8 |
|
Who listens to the verses of Allah recited on him, yet he insists arrogantly like he has not listened to them. Give him the good news of painful punishment.
9 |
|
And when he learns of any of Our signs, he takes them in mockery - for those will be a humiliating punishment.
10 |
|
Behind (following) them is Hell. Nothing they earn will benefit them. And nothing (will help them) that they hold as supporter except Allah. There will be a severe punishment for them.
11 |
|
This (Al Quran) is a guide. And those who did not believe in the signs of their Rabb will have a tortuous, painful punishment.
12 |
|
Allah is the One who subjugated the oceans for you to run the ships in them with His command, and for you to seek His bounties, and that you may be thankful.
13 |
|
For you, He subjugated the universe (high above) and the earth altogether from Himself. In these, there are signs for the people who think (in continuation of previous Ayat the travel by aviation, above ground as subjugated for you).
14 |
|
Tell believers, "Forgive those who do not hope in the Days of Allah that He will compensate the people according to what they earned." (It is on Allah to Judge, not you).
15 |
|
Whoever did good deeds is for himself, and whoever offended is on himself; after that, you will return towards your Rabb.
16 |
|
We already gave the Children of Israel the Book (Torah), and (taught) wisdom, and gave prophets, and We provided them good livelihood and preferred them over the worlds (to spread the word of Allah and teach Torah).
17 |
|
And We gave them clear instructions. Then they differ only after knowledge came to them, out of injustice (desire to oppress) among themselves. Indeed, your Rabb will decide between them on the Day of Standing what they disagreed with.
18 |
|
Then after that, We provided you instructions on Islamic laws, so follow this and do not follow the desires of those who do not know.
19 |
|
Indeed, they will never be able to help you (be useful) against Allah in anything. The unjust support one another, while Allah is A Supporter of the God-fearing.
20 |
|
These are insights (to understand, for perception, discernments) to humankind, providing guidance and mercy for convinced people (These insights provide guidance and mercy for the faithful).
21 |
|
Did those who commit crimes consider that We will regard them like (similar to) those who believe and do righteous deeds, equal in their (present) life and (after) their death? What a wrong decision they make! (When evildoers' lifestyle is not the same as good-doers, how can they be treated the same after death in reward).
22 |
|
Allah has created the universe and the earth with truth (natural with consequences on judgment day) to reward every soul what it earned. And they will not be unjustly treated.
23 |
|
Do you see the one who took his desires as his diety? Allah left him misled on knowledge, sealed his hearing and heart, and covered his vision. Then who will guide him after Allah? Do you not then remember?
24 |
|
And they say, “This is only our life of this world; we die, and we live, and we will not perish except by changing time.” And, but they do not know about this; they are (just) speculating (supposing).
25 |
|
And when Our verses are recited to them, their argument was only to say, “Bring out our forefathers, if you are truthful.”
26 |
|
Say, “Allah gives you life, then He gives you death; then He will gather you all on the Day of Standing, and there is no doubt about this. And but many of humankind do not know.
27 |
|
And for Allah is the kingdom of the universe and the earth. On the Day that Time will stand, the falsifiers (of truth) will be losing.
28 |
|
And you will see every nation fall on its knees; every nation will be called towards its records: “Today you will be rewarded by what you were doing.
29 |
|
This is Our record, speaking to you with the truth. Indeed, We were writing (recording) what you were doing.”
30 |
|
Then as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Rabb will enter them in His Mercy. That is an evident success.
31 |
|
But as for those who did not believe: “Were not My Verses recited to you? But you became arrogant (treated with arrogance), and you were the nation of sinners (criminals).”
32 |
|
And when it is said, “The promise of Allah is truth, and there is no doubt in the time of Final Judgment,” you said, “We do not understand what the time (of Final Judgment) is; we think it is only speculation (supposition); we are not convinced.”
33 |
|
The (results) of their evil deeds started to show for them and surrounded them with what they were mocking.
34 |
|
It will be said, “Today We forget you like you forgot your meeting on this Day. Your shelter (abode, dwelling) is the Fire, and there is nobody for you as a helper.
35 |
|
That is because you held verses of Allah in mockery, and the life of this world deceived you.” So, today, they will not exit from here and will not (escape hell by) blaming one another (or escape by saying, I have not crossed the threshold of sin).
36 |
|
For Allah belongs all the Praise; Rabb (Owner) of the universe, Rabb (Owner) of the earth, Rabb (Owner) of the worlds (cosmos).
37 |
|
And for Him is all the Greatness in the universe and the earth. He is the Most Powerful, the Wisest. |

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. This task would require a team of scholars to research the historical context and include the latest scientific proofs to explain the definitions and meanings backed by research references. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. We are grateful to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for this blessing and strive to understand His message and seek His forgiveness. We appreciate your encouraging comments. Kindly inform us of any errors or suggestions for improvements. Assalamualaikum! I would like to share a helpful tip with you. If you want to get the Romanized English version of Arabic text, you can use Google's translation feature. Simply copy the ayat and paste it into Google's translation from Arabic. The Romanized English words will appear below the Arabic ayat. This feature will be helpful for you, and you can also use the listen feature. Additionally, websites offering transliterated Romanized English Quran are available. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan!Response:
Assalamualaikum, Thank you for your inquiry. I have used the root for اتقوا as تَقَى; however, وَقَى, has the same meaning when used as a verb. If we use, “those who are afraid of Allah”, we can use وَقَى, as root words. If we use “those who are devout, and pious”, then we can use تَقَى, as the root word. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:
