|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
حمٓ﴿1﴾ج ۛ |
|
| Haam Meem | ||
| 2 |
وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ﴿2﴾لا ۛ |
كَتَبَ,
|
| By the Oath of the Book (Quran), The clear proof (The Book with clear proof, evidence, Plain). | ||
| 3 |
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةٍۢ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ﴿3﴾ |
لَيْل,
|
| We sent down (revealed) this (Book Quran) on a Blessed Night; We have been giving Warning Signs. | ||
| 4 |
فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ﴿4﴾لا |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| In this, all matters are differentiated (what is right and what is wrong) with wisdom. | ||
| 5 |
أَمْرًۭا مِّنْ عِندِنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ﴿5﴾ج |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| Instruction from Us (Instructions for how to live in this world). We have been sending (Dispatching Instructions, Messengers). | ||
| 6 |
رَحْمَةًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ﴿6﴾لا |
سَمَعَ,
|
| A Mercy from your Rabb. Indeed, He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. | ||
| 7 |
رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ﴿7﴾ |
سَمَا,
|
| Rabb (Owner) of the universe and the earth and what is in between them, if you certainly believed. | ||
| 8 |
لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿8﴾ |
إِله,
|
| There is no god except Him. He gives life and death, your Rabb and Rabb of your earlier forefathers. | ||
| 9 |
بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ يَلْعَبُونَ﴿9﴾ |
شَكَّ,
|
| Yet they are in doubt and distracted by amusements. | ||
| 10 |
فَٱرْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِى ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ﴿10﴾لا |
سَمَا,
|
| So, await the Day that the sky will come with evident (visible) smoke. | ||
| 11 |
يَغْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ ۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ﴿11﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| People will faint, this is a painful punishment | ||
| 12 |
رَّبَّنَا ٱكْشِفْ عَنَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ﴿12﴾ |
عَذُبَ,
|
| "Our Rabb, remove the punishment from us. "We are believers." | ||
| 13 |
أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿13﴾لا |
بَا نَ,
|
| Do they not have the remembrance (the Quran) with them despite having already received a clear Messenger? | ||
| 14 |
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ مُعَلَّمٌۭ مَّجْنُونٌ﴿14﴾م |
قَالَ,
|
| Then they turned away from him and said, "A possessed (man) taught by others." | ||
| 15 |
إِنَّا كَاشِفُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّكُمْ عَآئِدُونَ﴿15﴾م |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Indeed, (if) We will remove the punishment a little, then you will repeat. | ||
| 16 |
يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ ٱلْبَطْشَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ﴿16﴾ |
يَوْم,
|
| The Day when We will strike, (it will be with) The Great Violent Force, We will be vengeful. | ||
| 17 |
۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ كَرِيمٌ﴿17﴾لا |
قَبِلَ,
|
| And We already (tested with) temptation (and tried) those before them, the nation of Firon; and a noble Messenger came to them. | ||
| 18 |
أَنْ أَدُّوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ عِبَادَ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌۭ﴿18﴾لا |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Saying, “Render (bring) me the servants of Allah. I am a trusting Messenger for you.” | ||
| 19 |
وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ ۖ إِنِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ﴿19﴾ج |
سُلَط,
|
| And “Do not exceed (become arrogant) against Allah. I have brought you clear authority (proof). | ||
| 20 |
وَإِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ﴿20﴾ز |
عَاذَ,
|
| I seek protection with my Rabb and your Rabb; lest (that) you stone me to death. | ||
| 21 |
وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ لِى فَٱعْتَزِلُونِ﴿21﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| And if you do not believe in me, then keep away (withdraw, separate) from me.” | ||
| 22 |
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌۭ مُّجْرِمُونَ﴿22﴾ |
جَرَمَ,
|
| Then he called to his Rabb: “These are a nation of criminals.” | ||
| 23 |
فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ﴿23﴾لا |
تَبِعَ,
|
| Then (Allah Said), “Travel by night with my worshippers, you will be followed. | ||
| 24 |
وَٱتْرُكِ ٱلْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌۭ مُّغْرَقُونَ﴿24﴾ |
غَرَفَ,
|
| And you cross the ocean quietly; they are an army to be drowned.” | ||
| 25 |
كَمْ تَرَكُوا۟ مِن جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ﴿25﴾لا |
جَنَّ,
|
| How many gardens (farms, agricultural land) and springs did they leave behind? | ||
| 26 |
وَزُرُوعٍۢ وَمَقَامٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ﴿26﴾لا |
كَرُمَ,
|
| And plantations and noble places. | ||
| 27 |
وَنَعْمَةٍۢ كَانُوا۟ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ﴿27﴾لا |
فَكِهَ,
|
| And the provisions of livelihood that they were amusing there. | ||
| 28 |
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ﴿28﴾ |
وَرَثَ,
|
| That is how We made other nations inherit these. | ||
| 29 |
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ﴿29﴾1ع |
سَمَا,
|
| Then, neither the sky nor the earth cried for them, and they were not delayed (given respite). | ||
| 30 |
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ﴿30﴾لا |
نَجَا,
|
| And indeed, We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment. | ||
| 31 |
مِن فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ﴿31﴾ |
سَرَف,
|
| From Firon. He was among those who exceeded in arrogance (thought of being higher ranked). | ||
| 32 |
وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿32﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| We selected them (Children of Israel to spread) knowledge (Guidance from Allah given in Torah through Musa) worldwide. | ||
| 33 |
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَٰٓؤٌۭا۟ مُّبِينٌ﴿33﴾ |
أَثَرَ,
|
| And We gave them many signs, in which there were clear trials. | ||
| 34 |
إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ﴿34﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| Indeed, this is what surely, they will say. | ||
| 35 |
إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ﴿35﴾ |
مَاتَ,
|
| “This is only our first death, and we will not be resurrected (raised). | ||
| 36 |
فَأْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿36﴾ |
صَدَقَ,
|
| Bring in (here) our forefathers if you are truthful.” | ||
| 37 |
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍۢ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ﴿37﴾ |
جَرَمَ,
|
| Are they better, or the nation of Tubba and those from before them? We destroyed them. They were criminals. | ||
| 38 |
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ﴿38﴾ |
سَمَا,
|
| We did not create the universe and the earth and what is between them as a game (to play). | ||
| 39 |
مَا خَلَقْنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿39﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| We did not create them except with the truth (we created the universe and earth with a real-life with real consequences on judgment day), but many do not know. | ||
| 40 |
إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ مِيقَٰتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ﴿40﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| Indeed, the Day of Decision is a fixed time (scheduled) for them to gather. | ||
| 41 |
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى مَوْلًى عَن مَّوْلًۭى شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ﴿41﴾لا |
نَصَرَ,
|
| On the Day when no friend will be helpful in friendship on anything, they will not be assisted. | ||
| 42 |
إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللّٰهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿42﴾2ع |
رَحِمَ,
|
| Except him, whom Allah has mercy on him. Indeed, He is the Most Powerful, the Most Merciful. | ||
| 43 |
إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ﴿43﴾لا |
شَجَرَ,
|
| Indeed, the Tree of Zakhoum. | ||
| 44 |
طَعَامُ ٱلْأَثِيمِ﴿44﴾ج صلے ۛ |
طَعِمَ,
|
| Food for the sinners. | ||
| 45 |
كَٱلْمُهْلِ يَغْلِى فِى ٱلْبُطُونِ﴿45﴾لا |
مَهَلَ,
|
| Like, slowly inserting (boiling) in the stomach. | ||
| 46 |
كَغَلْىِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ﴿46﴾ |
حَمَى,
|
| Like a heated (drink) to quench a burning thirst. | ||
| 47 |
خُذُوهُ فَٱعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿47﴾ق صلے |
أَخَذَ,
|
| Hold him and drag him straight to Hell! | ||
| 48 |
ثُمَّ صُبُّوا۟ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِۦ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ﴿48﴾ط |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Then pour over his head the punishment of the Inferno! | ||
| 49 |
ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ﴿49﴾ |
عَزَّ,
|
| Taste! You (thought you) were with noble strength. | ||
| 50 |
إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمْتَرُونَ﴿50﴾ |
مَرْي,
|
| This (Hell) is what you doubted (suspected). | ||
| 51 |
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍۢ﴿51﴾لا |
تَقَى,
|
| Indeed, as for the God-fearing, they will be in a safe place. | ||
| 52 |
فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ﴿52﴾لا |
جَنَّ,
|
| In gardens and springs. | ||
| 53 |
يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍۢ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ﴿53﴾ج لا |
قَبِلَ,
|
| They will be dressed in silk and brocade, facing each other. | ||
| 54 |
كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍۢ﴿54﴾ط |
عين,
|
| That is how We will wed the virgins of Paradise with (beautiful) eyes as mates. | ||
| 55 |
يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ﴿55﴾لا |
دَعَا,
|
| They will (get) every fruit they require peacefully in there. | ||
| 56 |
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ إِلَّا ٱلْمَوْتَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿56﴾لا |
عَذُبَ,
|
| They will not taste death beyond their first death, and (We will) save them from the punishment of Hell. | ||
| 57 |
فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ﴿57﴾ |
فَضَلَ,
|
| Generosity from your Rabb. That is the greatest success. | ||
| 58 |
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ﴿58﴾ |
يَسَرَ,
|
| We made it (Al Quran) easy in your language so that they may remember. | ||
| 59 |
فَٱرْتَقِبْ إِنَّهُم مُّرْتَقِبُونَ﴿59﴾3ع |
رَقَبَ,
|
| So, keep observing. They, too, are in observation. |
