||
||
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1 |
|
Ha Meem | ||
2 |
|
By the Book of the clear (plain) evidence (proof).
3 |
|
We brought this Quran in Arabic so that maybe you will understand.
4 |
|
And indeed, this is heavenly original Book (Quran) from Us, with (full of) high wisdom.
5 |
|
Should We abstain from reminding you (and turn away and leave you) because you are an immoderate nation?
6 |
|
And how many prophets have We sent to the earlier ancestors (forefathers)?
7 |
|
And no prophet came to them, but they mocked him.
8 |
|
So, we destroyed those stronger than them in force, and they were gone away (bygone, vanished), similar to the earlier ones.
9 |
|
And if you ask them, “Who created the universe and the earth?” They would surely say, “They were created by the Most Powerful, the All-Knowing.”
10 |
|
He, Who made the earth a resting place for you and made paths in them so that you may get guidance (to seek His bounties and see His Creation).
11 |
|
He is the One who sent down water from the sky in proportion (as much as needed), so We resurrected dead cities (dwellings) with this. That is how you will be brought out.
12 |
|
He is the One who created pairs for everything and made ships for you and the animals that you ride on.
13 |
|
For you to sit on their backs and remember provisions of livelihood provided by your Rabb as you sit on them, and say, “Praise to Him Who subjugated this for us; we were not associates. [(Note: We are not an equal match in power to riding animals, but Allah gave us control over animals that are more powerful than us. One human resource is ~ 75 watts, One horsepower = 746 watts, Typical Car hp= 200 - 500 hp, One airplane with four jet engines - 4 x (15-to 20) Megawatt ~ 100,000 hp, ~ 1000,000 human resources, etc., so Allah gave us control over the horse, car, planes, etc., for our travel and benefits. Hence, we must thank Allah for giving us control over powerful animals and machines)].
14 |
|
And indeed, to our Rabb, we surely will return (to give an account of His provisions to have control overriding animals or vehicles, etc., and how did we use them).
15 |
|
Yet they made a part for Him from His worshippers. Indeed, the man is surely clearly ungrateful.
16 |
|
Or did He take daughters for Himself from what He creates, and choose sons for you?
17 |
|
Yet, when one of them is given good news with similar examples for the Merciful (that a daughter is born to him), the darkness comes to his face, and he conceals his anger.
18 |
|
(And they say with biased against females by characterizing females as) “Someone raised in jewelry and not clear in an argument?”
19 |
|
And they appoint worshipping angels of the Merciful as females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony (their quotation) will be recorded against them, and they will be questioned.
20 |
|
And they say, “If the Merciful wanted, we would not have worshipped them.” But they do not know that; they only guess (fabricating arguments).
21 |
|
Did We give them a book before to which they are rigidly connected (holding on)?
22 |
|
But they say, “We found our forefathers leading this way, and indeed on their traces (remnants, influences), we are guided.
23 |
|
Likewise, We did not send a Warner before you in any village, but those living in luxury said, “Indeed, we found our fathers on this course, and we are following on their traces.”
24 |
|
He (prophet) said, “Even if I came to you with better guidance than what you found your forefathers following?” They said, “We do not believe in what you are sent with.”
25 |
|
Therefore, we took revenge on them. Behold, then see how were the punitive measures for the liars. (So We took revenge on them, so see what was the end of the deniers).
26 |
|
When Abraham said to his father and his nation, “I am absolved (free myself) from what you worship.
27 |
|
Except for the One who gave me natural disposition (innate character), He will soon guide me on the right path.”
28 |
|
And he left a lasting word in his progeny so they may return (to Allah).
29 |
|
I let them and their forefathers enjoy life (let them fulfill desires) until the truth came to them and a clear Messenger.
30 |
|
But when the truth came, they said, “This is a magic charm, and we do not believe in it.”
31 |
|
They also said, “If only this Quran were to be sent down on a leading personality of these two great cities.”
32 |
|
Do they assign mercy of your Rabb? We distribute means of subsistence in this world's life, and We raise some of them above others in grades to take each other as employees. And (but) mercy of your Rabb is best from what they gather.
33 |
|
And if it were humankind were one nation (believers and unbelievers are the same, treated equally), We would have made homes of nonbelievers of the Most Merciful, with silver ceilings and stairs to climb.
34 |
|
The doors of their homes and couches where they happily rest.
35 |
|
And (these are) decorations. Yet all this is nothing but an enjoyment of the life of this world. And the Hereafter, with your Rabb, is for the God-fearing.
36 |
|
Whoever becomes blind to remembering the Merciful, We appoint Shaitan for him, becoming an associate.
37 |
|
And they hinder (appointed shaitan who turn them away) from the path (to Allah), though they consider themselves guided.
38 |
|
Until, when he will come to Us, he will say, “I wish there were a separation between me and you (me and evil companion) as of the East and West.” What a miserable companion!
39 |
|
And indeed, there will be no benefit for you on that day since you were unjust. You will be sharing the punishment.
40 |
|
Then, can you make the deaf listen or guide the blind, and (while) he is clearly misguided?
41 |
|
Then, if We take you away, We will take revenge on them.
42 |
|
Or We will show you what We have promised them, for We indeed have power (control) over them.
43 |
|
So, hold on to what has been inspired to you. You are on a straight path.
44 |
|
Indeed, this is a remembrance for you and your nation; soon, you will be asked (questioned).
45 |
|
And ask those whom We sent before you of Our messengers: Have We made gods to be worshiped besides the Most Gracious?
46 |
|
And indeed, We sent Musa with Our signs to Firon and his chiefs. He said, “I am Messenger from the Rabb of the universe.”
47 |
|
But when he came to them with Our signs, they were mocking them (They were mocking at Our Signs).
48 |
|
And when each of Our signs shown to them was more marvelous than their (previous) counterpart. And We held them with the punishment so they may return (to reconsider what they were mocking).
49 |
|
And they said, “O you the magician, pray to your Rabb for us (to remove the punishment), what He promised to you, and then we will become guided.”(Note. They called Musa and Haroon magicians still after seeing all the miracles and not as prophets).
50 |
|
Then (but) when We removed the punishment from them, they broke (reneged, returned on their promise).
51 |
|
And Pharaoh said to his people, "Is not the kingdom of Misr (Egypt) mine, and these rivers flowing beneath me? Do you not see?"
52 |
|
Am I not better than this weakling, who is almost not clear (in speaking)?
53 |
|
Why didn't he (Moses) receive gold jewelry or come with the associated angels?
54 |
|
So, he made little value (lowered the judgment) of his nation, and they followed him. Indeed, they were a nation of transgressors.
55 |
|
And when they angered Us, We took revenge and drowned them all.
56 |
|
Thus, We made them a precedent and example for the future (later generations).
57 |
|
And when the Son of Mariam was cited as an example (that he was created without a father), then your nation turned away (opposing).
58 |
|
They said, “Are our gods not better, or he (Jesus)?” They cited him only for you as a controversy (to challenge you). They are an argumentative nation.
59 |
|
He (Jesus) is only a slave (worshipper of Allah) whom We blessed, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.
60 |
|
And if We wanted, We would have made among you angels on earth as successors.
61 |
|
Indeed, He Knows of the time (Day of Judgment), so do not doubt it and follow me on this straight path.
62 |
|
And do not let the shaitan hinder you (turn you away). He is a clear enemy for you.
63 |
|
When Essa came with clear proofs, he said, “I came to you with wisdom and to make it clear (and decide) for you in some of that you differ in. So, fear Allah and follow me.
64 |
|

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. This task would require a team of scholars to research the historical context and include the latest scientific proofs to explain the definitions and meanings backed by research references. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:

We agree with your comment that these lines are not part of Al-Quran and should not number as a continuation of Ayats. We will remove these lines on the next upgrade. It has become part of the database at present, and for now, we will add clarifications to these lines. Please let us know if you find any other mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts.
