سورة الشورى - 42 -

بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1

حمٓ﴿1﴾ج

Haam Meem
2

عٓسٓقٓ﴿2﴾

Aien Seen Qaaf
3

كَذَٰلِكَ يُوحِىٓ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ﴿3﴾

قَبِلَ,
حَكَمَ,
عَزَّ,
وَحَى,
إِلَى,
ذَا,
This is how Allah, the Most Powerful, the Wisest, inspires you and those before you. (Revelation, Quran).
4

لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ﴿4﴾

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
عَلَا,
عَظُمَ,
For Him is whatever is in the universe and the earth, and He is the Highest, the Greatest.
5

تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِن فَوْقِهِنَّ ۚ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿5﴾

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
غَفَرَ,
رَحِمَ,
كود,
حَمِدَ,
سَبَحَ,
فَطَرَ,
فَاقَ,
مَلَكَ,
رَبَّ,
أ-أَلَا ,
The sky from above them almost split apart (when someone does not believe in Allah and His Messengers) while the angels glorify Him with praise and ask for forgiveness for those on the earth. Truly Allah is the One Who is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
6

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍۢ﴿6﴾

أَخَذَ,
وَكَلَ,
حَفِظَ,
عَلَا,
دُون,
وَلِيَ,
Those who have taken guardians besides Him, Allah is watching them, and you (Muhammad, ﷺ Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) are not their guardian.
7

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّۭا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ ٱلْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ فَرِيقٌۭ فِى ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌۭ فِى ٱلسَّعِيرِ﴿7﴾

رَابَ,
نَذَرَ,
حَالَ,
أَ مَّ,
قَرَى,
وَحَى,
يَوْم,
قَرَأَ,
فَرَقَ,
جَنَّ,
سَعَرَ,
إِلَى,
ذَا,
عَذَرَ,
جَمَعَ,
And that is how We have revealed the Quran to you in Arabic so you may warn (the people residing in) Mecca city and its surroundings. And for you to warn of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt. (which is inevitable). A group will enter Paradise that day, and a group (will be thrown) into the Fire.
8

وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ وَلَٰكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ﴿8﴾

جَعَلَ,
أَ مَّ,
دَخَلَ,
رَحِمَ,
شِاءَ,
ظَلَمَ,
أ حد,
نَصَرَ,
وَلِيَ,
لَوْ,
He could have made them one (believing) nation if Allah wanted, but He will enter whomever He wants in His Mercy. As for the unjust, there is no supporter or helper.
9

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ فَٱللّٰهُ هُوَ ٱلْوَلِىُّ وَهُوَ يُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ﴿9﴾1ع

أَخَذَ,
شِاءَ,
حي,
مَاتَ,
وَلِيَ,
قَدَرَ,
كُلَّ,
دُون,
Or have they taken other than Him as supporters? But (in reality) Allah is the (Only) Supporter, and He gives you life and death, and He has Full Control over everything.
10

وَمَا ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللّٰهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ رَبِّى عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ﴿10﴾

حَكَمَ,
شِاءَ,
وَكَلَ,
خَلَفَ,
إِلَى,
ذَا,
عَلَا,
إِلَى,
رَبَّ,
نَابَ,
Whatever you disagree with (but know that), judgment (ruling on what is right) rests with Allah. “He is your Allah, my Rabb; I trust Him, and to Him I turn.”
11

فَاطِرُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ أَزْوَٰجًۭا ۖ يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ ۚ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِۦ شَىْءٌۭ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْبَصِيرُ﴿11﴾

جَعَلَ,
سَمَعَ,
نَفُسَ,
سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
نَعَمَ,
شِاءَ,
بَصُرَ,
مَثَلَ,
لَيْسَ,
فَطَرَ,
زَاجَ,
ذّرّا,
He gives nature (natural properties) to the universe and the earth. He made mates for you from yourself and mates for the cattle and dispersed you (around the world). There is nothing like Him in anything (He is the creator of all that you see, so He cannot be like anything that is created. He is unseen because your eyes can see only what He made, but not Him. He is other than anything you can see). He is All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.
12

لَهُۥ مَقَالِيدُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿12﴾

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
بَسَطَ,
قَدَرَ,
رَزَقَ,
شِاءَ,
عَلِمَ,
كُلَّ,
قَلَد,
All the keys (Power and Control of resources) of the universe and the earth are with Him. He extends sustenance to whom He Will and controls. He has Knowledge of Everything.
13

۞ شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلدِّينِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِۦ نُوحًۭا وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِۦٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰٓ ۖ أَنْ أَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا۟ فِيهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۚ ٱللّٰهُ يَجْتَبِىٓ إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ﴿13﴾

دَعَا,
فَرَقَ,
هَدَى,
قَامَ,
وَحَى,
شِاءَ,
دَانَ,
كَبَرَ,
إِلَى,
شَرِكَ,
جَابَ,
نَابَ,
شَرَعَ,
وَصِيَ,
He made laws (originated laws) for you with the same religion (Islam) entrusted to Noah, and that inspired you, and entrusted to Ibrahim, Musa, and Essa: “Establish the religion and do not differ in it.” It is intolerable to those who associate partners (with Allah) when you call them to come to Him. Allah answers to whomever He wants and guides towards Him whoever frequently returns to Him.
14

وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوٓا۟ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعِلْمُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌۭ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى لَّقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُورِثُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِى شَكٍّۢ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍۢ﴿14﴾

أَ جَل,
فَرَقَ,
شَكَّ,
كَتَبَ,
عَلِمَ,
سَمِي,
بَا نَ,
كَلِمُ,
سَبَقَ,
جَاءَ,
وَرَثَ,
بَغَى,
رَابَ,
قَضَى,
بَعُدَ,
إِلَى,
لَوْ,
And they did not separate until after the knowledge had come to them out of envy among themselves. If it had not been for the predetermined decision by your Rabb for a fixed time, it would have been decided among them. Indeed, those who inherited the Book after them have surely doubtful suspicions about this (Quran).
15

فَلِذَٰلِكَ فَٱدْعُ ۖ وَٱسْتَقِمْ كَمَآ أُمِرْتَ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۖ وَقُلْ ءَامَنتُ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللّٰهُ مِن كِتَٰبٍۢ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ ۖ ٱللّٰهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ ۖ لَنَآ أَعْمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ ۖ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ ۖ ٱللّٰهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ﴿15﴾ط

صَارَ,
تَبِعَ,
أَ مُنَ,
كَتَبَ,
بَا نَ,
قَالَ,
جَمَعَ,
نَزَلَ,
حَجَّ,
دَعَا,
عَمِلَ,
هَوَى,
إِلَى,
ذَا,
قَامَ,
رَبَّ,
أَ مَرَ,
عَدَلَ,
So, for that, go on calling (inviting), stand firm on what is ordered, do not follow their desires, and say, “I believe what Allah has sent down in the Book, and I am ordered to do justice between you. Allah is our Rabb and your Rabb. For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. There is no argument between you and us. Allah will bring us together (for Judgment), and towards Him is the return.”
16

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُحَآجُّونَ فِى ٱللّٰهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا ٱسْتُجِيبَ لَهُۥ حُجَّتُهُمْ دَاحِضَةٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌۭ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌ﴿16﴾

عَذُبَ,
شَدَّ,
حَجَّ,
جَابَ,
غَضِبَ,
دَحَضَ,
بَعُدَ,
عَنَدَ,
عَلَا,
رَبَّ,
As for those who (still) argue about Allah after what they heard (all evidence in response to their arguments) about Him, (now) their arguments (opinions) are invalid with their Rabb, they will face the wrath of punishment, which is severe.
17

ٱللّٰهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۗ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌۭ﴿17﴾

سَاعته,
كَتَبَ,
حَقَّ,
نَزَلَ,
وَزَنَ,
دَرَى,
قَرُبَ,
عَلَّ,
لَعَلَّ,
Allah is the One who sent down the Book with the truth and the Balance (To Judge by Quran on Day of Standing). Have you considered the possibility that the end times (or final judgment) may be approaching?
18

يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِى ٱلسَّاعَةِ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ﴿18﴾

أَ مُنَ,
أَ مُنَ,
عَلِمَ,
ضَلَّ,
سَاعته,
حَقَّ,
بَعُدَ,
عَجِلَ,
أَ مُنَ,
شَفِقَ,
أ-أَلَا ,
مَرْي,
Those who do not believe in this ask to expedite (the Day of Judgement), but those who believe they are on guard about this (are certain that Judgment Day will happen), and they know that it is true (no question). Truly, those who are disputing in the time (Day of Judgement) are (too) far lost (deeply in error).
19

ٱللّٰهُ لَطِيفٌۢ بِعِبَادِهِۦ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْقَوِىُّ ٱلْعَزِيزُ﴿19﴾2ع

رَزَقَ,
عَبَدَ,
عَزَّ,
قَوِيَ,
شِاءَ,
لَطَفَ,
Allah is Kind (Affectionate, Gentle) to His slaves. He provides for whoever He wants. He is the Strongest, the Most Powerful.
20

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ نَزِدْ لَهُۥ فِى حَرْثِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ ٱلدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِۦ مِنْهَا وَمَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِن نَّصِيبٍ﴿20﴾

حَرَثَ,
أخر,
دَنَا,
رَادَ,
زَيدَ,
كَانَ,
أَتَى,
نَصَبَ,
Whoever desires to cultivate for the Hereafter, We increase for Him in His cultivation; and whoever wants the cultivation for this world, Gives him that, and there is nothing for him in the Hereafter to share.
21

أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَٰٓؤُا۟ شَرَعُوا۟ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱلدِّينِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَنۢ بِهِ ٱللّٰهُ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ ٱلْفَصْلِ لَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ﴿21﴾

عَذُبَ,
شَرِكَ,
بَا نَ,
ظَلَمَ,
كَلِمُ,
دَانَ,
أَ لِمَ,
قَضَى,
فَصَلَ,
شَرَعَ,
أَذن,
لَوْ,
Or do they have partners who have legislated for them the religion that Allah has not permitted? It would have been judged between them if not for the decided word. Indeed, the unjust will have a painful punishment.
22

تَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فِى رَوْضَاتِ ٱلْجَنَّاتِ ۖ لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ﴿22﴾

أَ مُنَ,
جَنَّ,
عَمِلَ,
فَضَلَ,
صَلَحَ,
رَأَى,
كَسَبَ,
ظَلَمَ,
كَبَرَ,
شَفِقَ,
شِاءَ,
رَأَى,
وَقَعَ,
ذَا,
رَاضَ,
عَنَدَ,
رَبَّ,
You will see the unjust (now) becoming compassionate (submissive) due to what they have earned and what will happen to them. As for those who believe and do righteous deeds will be in the meadows of the gardens; for them, whatever they want from their Rabb, that is the excellent grant (success, blessing).
23

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يُبَشِّرُ ٱللّٰهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ ۗ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ فِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ ۗ وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةًۭ نَّزِدْ لَهُۥ فِيهَا حُسْنًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌۭ شَكُورٌ﴿23﴾

أَ مُنَ,
عَمِلَ,
بَشِرَ,
سَأَلَ,
حَسَنَ,
غَفَرَ,
وَدَّ,
صَلَحَ,
عَبَدَ,
أَجَرَ,
قَرَفَ,
قَرُبَ,
شَكَرَ,
زَيدَ,
ذَا,
That is the good news given by Allah to His slaves who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, “I do not ask you for a reward on this except the love for kinship.” Whoever commissions (plans and does) a good deed, We will increase goodness therein for him. Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Appreciative.
24

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ كَذِبًۭا ۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ ٱللّٰهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ ۗ وَيَمْحُ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلْبَٰطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ﴿24﴾

قَالَ,
فَرَىَ,
كَذَبَ,
حَقَّ,
عَلِمَ,
كَلِمُ,
قَلَبَ,
بَطَلَ,
ذَا,
خَتَمَ,
صَدَرَ,
رَأَى,
مَحَا,
Or do they say, “He fabricated a lie about Allah?” If Allah desired, He would have sealed your heart (not open for unbelievers). But Allah erases falsehood, and He confirms the truth with His Words. He is aware of what is in their hearts.
25

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَقْبَلُ ٱلتَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ﴿25﴾لا

تَا بَ,
عَلِمَ,
قَبِلَ,
عَنْ,
عَبَدَ,
سَا ءَ,
عَفَا,
فَعَلَ,
He is the One who accepts the repentance of His slaves and forgives their sins, and He knows all that you do.
26

وَيَسْتَجِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۭ﴿26﴾

أَ مُنَ,
عَمِلَ,
عَذُبَ,
فَضَلَ,
كَفَرَ,
صَلَحَ,
شَدَّ,
جَابَ,
زَيدَ,
And He answers to those who believe and do righteous deeds and increases His grace for them. But for the nonbelievers, for them is a painful punishment.
27

۞ وَلَوْ بَسَطَ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهِۦ لَبَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍۢ مَّا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرٌۢ بَصِيرٌۭ﴿27﴾

أَ رَضْ,
قَدَرَ,
رَزَقَ,
عَبَدَ,
خَبَرَ,
شِاءَ,
نَزَلَ,
بَسَطَ,
بَصُرَ,
بَغَى,
لَوْ,
And If Allah had extended the provisions to His slaves, they will surely oppress in the land; but He sends down in predetermined measures whatever He Will. He is All-Knowing, All-Seeing to His slaves.
28

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُنَزِّلُ ٱلْغَيْثَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا قَنَطُوا۟ وَيَنشُرُ رَحْمَتَهُۥ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْوَلِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ﴿28﴾

رَحِمَ,
نَزَلَ,
وَلِيَ,
بَعُدَ,
حَمِدَ,
غيث,
قَنِطَ,
نَشَرَ,
He is the One Who Sends down abundant rain after they become hopeless and Spreads His Mercy. He is the Supporter, The Praiseworthy.
29

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَآءُ قَدِيرٌۭ﴿29﴾3ع

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
دَبَّ,
شِاءَ,
آ ىي -آية,
خَلَقَ,
قَدَرَ,
جَمَعَ,
بَثَّ,
And among His Signs is the creation of the universe, the earth, and all animals spread out in them. He is capable of gathering them when He Will.
30

وَمَآ أَصَٰبَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍۢ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَن كَثِيرٍۢ﴿30﴾ط

يَدَيَ,
صَابَ,
كَثَرَ,
كَسَبَ,
عَفَا,
And whatever hardship reaches you is because of what your hands have earned, yet He forgives many.
31

وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍۢ﴿31﴾

أَ رَضْ,
عَجَزَ,
نَصَرَ,
وَلِيَ,
دُون,
You cannot weaken (the plan of Allah) on the earth, and there is nobody for you other than Allah to (ask for) Support or Help.
32

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِ ٱلْجَوَارِ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَٰمِ﴿32﴾ط

بَحَرَ,
آ ىي -آية,
جَرَى,
عَلِمَ,
And among His signs are the ships in the oceans like the signposts (for information).
33

إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ ٱلرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍۢ شَكُورٍ﴿33﴾لا

آ ىي -آية,
سَكَنَ,
شَكَرَ,
رَاحَ,
ظَهَرَ,
صَبَرَ,
شِاءَ,
ذَا,
كُلَّ,
رَكَدَ,
ظَلَّ,
If He wanted, He could have made the winds still. Then (ships will) remain motionless on the surface. Indeed, there are signs for every thankful patient (person).
34

أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍۢ﴿34﴾ز

كَثَرَ,
كَسَبَ,
عَفَا,
وَبَقَ,
Or He could destroy them due to what they earned. And yet He forgives many.
35

وَيَعْلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍۢ﴿35﴾

عَلِمَ,
جَدَلَ,
آ ىي -آية,
حَاصَ,
Those who argue in Our Signs know there is no place for them to escape.
36

فَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ﴿36﴾ج

أَ مُنَ,
خَيرَ,
شِاءَ,
حي,
دَنَا,
أَتَى,
مَتَعَ,
وَكَلَ,
بَقِىَ,
عَنَدَ,
رَبَّ,
So, whatever is given to you is to sustain a life in this world (nothing that is given to you goes beyond this life). But what (you intend) for Allah is with Allah; it is better and everlasting for those who believe and trust in Rubb.
37

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا۟ هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ﴿37﴾ج

أَثِمَ,
غَفَرَ,
جَنَبَ,
كَبَرَ,
فَحُشَ,
غَضِبَ,
And those who ward off (avoid, avert) greater sins and fornication; and when they are in anger (feelings of hurt, humiliation, fear, rejection, and the big one... frustration), they forgive.
38

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَىٰ بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ﴿38﴾ج

نَفَقَ,
قَامَ,
أَ مَرَ,
صلو,
رَزَقَ,
جَابَ,
رَبَّ,
شَور,
بَا نَ,
And those who answer to their Rabb, establish prayer, and make their decisions with consultation (build consensus on suggestions) among themselves and spend (give) from what We have provided (means of livelihood) to them.
39

وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَابَهُمُ ٱلْبَغْىُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ﴿39﴾

صَابَ,
بَغَى,
نَصَرَ,
And those when the oppression befalls (targets), they come to aid each other.
40

وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟ سَيِّئَةٍۢ سَيِّئَةٌۭ مِّثْلُهَا ۖ فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُۥ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿40﴾

حَبَّ,
سَا ءَ,
أَجَرَ,
عَفَا,
ظَلَمَ,
جَزَى,
مَثَلَ,
صَلَحَ,
And the penalty of an evil deed is similar (equivalent) to that. But whoever forgives and reforms (corrects) his reward is on Allah. He does not like the unjust.
41

وَلَمَنِ ٱنتَصَرَ بَعْدَ ظُلْمِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَا عَلَيْهِم مِّن سَبِيلٍ﴿41﴾ط

سَجَدَ,
سَبَلَ,
بَعُدَ,
نَصَرَ,
ظَلَمَ,
As for whoever comes for retaliation after he was unjustly treated, there is nothing on them as means (to blame).
42

إِنَّمَا ٱلسَّبِيلُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَظْلِمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَيَبْغُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ﴿42﴾

أَنِسَ,
عَذُبَ,
أَ رَضْ,
سَبَلَ,
حَقَّ,
بَغَى,
أَ لِمَ,
غير,
ظَلَمَ,
The only path for those who do injustice to humankind and cause oppression on the earth without justification is a painful punishment.
43

وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ ٱلْأُمُورِ﴿43﴾4ع

غَفَرَ,
أَ مَرَ,
عَزَمَ,
ذَا,
But whoever becomes patient and forgives, indeed, that is a sign of commanded resolution.
44

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللّٰهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ ۗ وَتَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَىٰ مَرَدٍّۢ مِّن سَبِيلٍۢ﴿44﴾

قَالَ,
عَذُبَ,
سَجَدَ,
سَبَلَ,
ظَلَمَ,
رَأَى,
ضَلَّ,
وَلِيَ,
بَعُدَ,
إِلَى,
رَدَّ,
Whoever is left misguided by Allah has no supporter for him after that. And you will see the unjust; when they will see the punishment, they will say, “Is there any way to return?”
45

وَتَرَىٰهُمْ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا خَٰشِعِينَ مِنَ ٱلذُّلِّ يَنظُرُونَ مِن طَرْفٍ خَفِىٍّۢ ۗ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ فِى عَذَابٍۢ مُّقِيمٍۢ﴿45﴾

خَسِرَ,
أَ مُنَ,
نَفُسَ,
عَذُبَ,
نَظَرَ,
خَرَجَ,
قَامَ,
يَوْم,
قَالَ,
ظَلَمَ,
أهَلَ,
رَضِيَ,
خَشَعَ,
قَامَ,
رَأَى,
عَرُضَ,
خَسِرَ,
طَرَفَ,
عَلَا,
أ-أَلَا ,
ذَلَّ,
خَفَيَ,
And you will see them presented to it (hell), submitting, humiliated; they will see (suffering) from (eye) sides secretly. Those who believe will say, “The losers have lost themselves and their families on the Day of Standing.” Indeed, the unjust will have endless punishment.
46

وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنْ أَوْلِيَآءَ يَنصُرُونَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللّٰهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن سَبِيلٍ﴿46﴾ط

نَصَرَ,
سَجَدَ,
سَبَلَ,
ضَلَّ,
وَلِيَ,
كَانَ,
دُون,
There is no one for them from the supporters that will help them other than Allah. (There is no one to help them except Allah). And whoever is left astray by Allah, there is no way (to escape).
47

ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌۭ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَإٍۢ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍۢ﴿47﴾

قَبِلَ,
يَوْم,
جَابَ,
رَدَّ,
نَكِرَ,
لَجَأَ,
أَتَى,
رَبَّ,
Respond to your Rabb before that Day will come to you from Allah where there is no turning back. There is no place for you to hide on that Day and nothing that you can deny.
48

فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا۟ فَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا ۖ إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ۗ وَإِنَّآ إِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةًۭ فَرِحَ بِهَا ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَإِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ كَفُورٌۭ﴿48﴾

يَدَيَ,
رَسِلَ,
صَابَ,
سَا ءَ,
رَحِمَ,
بَلَغَ,
قَدَمَ,
رَضِيَ,
ذَاقَ,
أَنِسَ,
عَرُضَ,
حَفِظَ,
كَفَرَ,
فَرِحَ,
If they oppose, We did not send you over to them as protector. The only (responsibility) on you is the communication (inform them of the message). Whenever We let humankind taste Our mercy, he is happy with it; but if harm reaches them due to what their hands have brought, then the man becomes ungrateful.
49

لِّلّٰهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ يَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ إِنَٰثًۭا وَيَهَبُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ٱلذُّكُورَ﴿49﴾لا

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
شِاءَ,
خَلَقَ,
مَلَكَ,
أَنُثَ,
وَهَبَ,
ذَكّرَ,
For Allah is the kingdom of the universe and the earth. He Creates whatever He desires. He gives females to whomever He wishes and males to whomever He wishes.
50

أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًۭا وَإِنَٰثًۭا ۖ وَيَجْعَلُ مَن يَشَآءُ عَقِيمًا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۭ قَدِيرٌۭ﴿50﴾

جَعَلَ,
عَقَمَ,
زَاجَ,
عَلِمَ,
شِاءَ,
أَنُثَ,
قَدَرَ,
ذَكّرَ,
Or gives them both, males and females, and He makes barren to whomever He Will. He is All-Knowing and in Full Control.
51

۞ وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُ ٱللّٰهُ إِلَّا وَحْيًا أَوْ مِن وَرَآئِ حِجَابٍ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ رَسُولًۭا فَيُوحِىَ بِإِذْنِهِۦ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌۭ﴿51﴾

وَحَى,
كَلِمُ,
وَرَى,
أَذن,
رَسِلَ,
شِاءَ,
بَشَر,
عَلَا,
كَلِمُ,
حَكَمَ,
كَانَ,
حَجَبَ,
إِذْ,
It is not for the man that he can speak to Allah except with inspiration, or behind a barrier, or he is sent down a Messenger, then he receives inspiration from His permission whatever He Will. He is Exalted Supreme, Most High, with Wisdom.
52

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ رُوحًۭا مِّنْ أَمْرِنَا ۚ مَا كُنتَ تَدْرِى مَا ٱلْكِتَٰبُ وَلَا ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ وَلَٰكِن جَعَلْنَٰهُ نُورًۭا نَّهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن نَّشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ﴿52﴾لا

جَعَلَ,
كَتَبَ,
أَ مَرَ,
هَدَى,
إِلَى,
رَاحَ,
قَامَ,
عَبَدَ,
شِاءَ,
صِرَاط,
دَرَى,
ذَا,
كَانَ,
إِلَى,
وَحَى,
نَار,
That is how We inspire you with a divine message (Quran) from Our command. You did not know the Book or belief, but We made it a light, with which We guide whomever We Will among Our worshippers. Indeed, you are surely on the right path.
53

صِرَٰطِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَآ إِلَى ٱللّٰهِ تَصِيرُ ٱلْأُمُورُ﴿53﴾5ع

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
صِرَاط,
أَ مَرَ,
إِلَى,
أ-أَلَا ,
صَارَ,
This is the path of Allah, for Him is whatever is in the universe and the earth. Towards Allah is where all the instructions start (begin, occur, happen, take place, and eventually end).
