In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate.
1

All the praises are for Allah, for Him belongs whatever is in the universe and the earth, and for Him are the praises in the Hereafter. He is with the Most Wisdom, with the Most Knowledge.
2

He knows what takes shelter in the earth and what emerges from it, and what is sent down from the sky and what climbs (rises) up in there. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving.
3

Those who did injustice say, “The Time (of judgment) will not come to us.” Say, “But, My Rabb surely will bring the time (of judgment) for you. He knows the unseen.” Nothing escapes Him, not even the weight of an atom in the universe and earth or anything smaller from that or more significant. All are (recorded) in the open Book.
4

(The Day of final judgment will come) To reward those who believed and did righteous deeds. For them are forgiveness and noble provisions.
5

As for those who struggle (try) to weaken (don't give importance and significance to) Our Signs, those will have painful, degrading punishment.
6

And those, who are given the knowledge, see what is sent down on you, is from your Rabb, and this is the truth; this guides towards the straight path to the Most Powerful, the Praiseworthy.
7

Those who did injustice said, “Shall we guide you to the man, who informs you that, when you are torn into pieces, all shredded (decomposed and decayed), you will be in a new creation?
8

Has he fabricated a lie about Allah, or is he possessed? Those who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment, (They are) lost in the far away (from the truth).
9

Do they not see what is between their hands (in front of them) and behind them, in the sky and the earth (everywhere there are Signs)? If We wanted, We could sink them in the earth (swallowing them into the earth) or drop a piece (may be like a meteorite) from the sky on them. In this, there are signs for every worshipper who returns (to Allah asking for forgiveness) time after time.”
10

And for Suleiman, the wind used to run for a month and rest for a month. And We made for him flowing streams of rain (or tar). From Jinn, they used to work in front of him with permission (assigned) from his Rabb. And whoever deviated among them from Our Commands, We made him taste the punishment of the Fire.”
13

Then, when it fell, it became apparent to the jinn that if they had known the unseen (that Dawood had died), they would not have been living in the degrading punishment.
15

Dear Admin, you have written صدق الله العظيم as part of every sorah and even given it an ayat number while it is not part of the Quran. The Holy Quran does not have this verse and there is no example of writing these words in the Quran so please remove this as it is a kind of tehreef.JazakAllah

Response:

Assalam u Alakum Qaisrani, We appreciate your comment. ALLAH HAS SPOKEN THE GREATEST TRUTH, was added to be read after the recitation of Al-Quran as a regular practice. We agree with your comment that these lines are not part of Al-Quran and should not number as a continuation of Ayats. We will remove these lines on the next upgrade. It has become part of the database at present, and for now, we will add clarifications to these lines. Its a stunning work. i am learning arabic and deeply interested to speak fluently. If you can provide the linking pages as text reference, will be a great boon for us. through that we can also search for any words that appear in texts and refer back to the root. it is also the reverse way. But now the linked dictionary pages are in pdf or image only ref. But thanks very much for this wonderful work. Ifyou can make a tool out of it..we can contribute to it as i know time is spent very much on it.

Assalamu’alaikum Babu, It is our blessing from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, that He sent us His Great Messenger, Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu hu Alaihi Wassalam, with Quran. We want to keep the dictionary in original format, and the great work done by author Maan Zulfi Madina and Columbia University. We do have plan to digitize the dictionary later if the permission is granted. Please continue to use the website and send us recommendations. Please share the website with others. Jazakallah

Salam - For the last 10 years I have been searching for a similar tool that can connect the Quranic ayats with their root words. This is a revolutionary tool that truly fulfils the gap in understanding that existed between the meaning and spirt of each ayat. After gaining this deeper level of understanding the process of reading quran becomes a process which is a dialogue between your soul and Allah. Now i understand why this message was such a transformational tool in the lives of sahaba since they understood the root meaning of quranic ayats. I feel like this is the need of the hour and this tool will truly helps us in establishing and connecting back to our true ibrahimic roots. I would like to send my deepest gratitude to team behind this master piece.May the ummah benefit from this revolutionary tool.

Your comments were encouraging; we are working on the next phase of update where we will add few more words and few corrections, along with links of dictionary pages enabled, just by hovering over the Ayats. Please let us know if you find any mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. JAK.

Salam - JazakAllahu Khairan for operating this website. It is very helpful in learning the root words that are associated with the ayats of the quran. I noticed today that the links to the dictionary are not working. I am not sure if it is only me who is seeing this or others are experiencing the same issue. Regards

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Kashif The Website is working good, sometimes the links takes time to respond and open the page of the dictionary. If you wait or login again it should resolve the issue. Keep us informed if you find that word links are not responding. We are working on upgrades where each word will be directly linked to Dictionary. JAK
