||
||
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate.
1 |
|
The Praise for Allah, for Him, belongs whatever is in the universe and the earth, and for Him is the Praise in the Hereafter. He is with the Most Wisdom, with the Most Knowledge.
2 |
|
He knows what takes shelter in the earth, what emerges from it, what is sent down from the sky, and what climbs (rises) up there. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving.
3 |
|
Those who did injustice say, “The Time (of judgment) will not come to us.” Say, “But, My Rabb surely will bring you the time (of judgment). He Knows the unseen.” Nothing escapes Him, not even the weight of an atom in the universe and earth or anything smaller from that or more significant. All are (recorded) in the open Book.
4 |
|
(The Day of final judgment will come) To reward those who believed and did righteous deeds. For them are forgiveness and noble provisions.
5 |
|
As for those who struggle (try) to weaken (don't give importance and significance to) Our Signs, those will have painful, degrading punishment.
6 |
|
And those, who are given the knowledge, see what is sent down on you is from your Rabb, and this is the truth; this guides towards the straight path to the Most Powerful, the Praiseworthy.
7 |
|
Those who did injustice said, “Shall we guide you to the man, who informs you that, when you are torn into pieces, all shredded (decomposed and decayed), you will be in a new creation?
8 |
|
Has he fabricated a lie about Allah, or is he possessed? Those who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment, (They are) lost in the far away (from the truth).
9 |
|
Do they not see what is between their hands (in front of them) and behind them, in the sky and the earth (everywhere there are Signs)? If We wanted, We could sink them in the ground (swallowing them into the ground) or drop a piece (maybe like a meteorite) from the sky on them. In this, there are signs for every worshipper who returns (to Allah asking for forgiveness) time after time.”
10 |
|
We already gave Dawood favors (grace) from Us: “O mountains and birds, accompany him.” And We made the iron malleable for him.
11 |
|
“That to work on making coats of armor, long and wide, and perforated (interlocking iron rings) with precise measures, and do that well. Indeed, I have a keen insight of what you do.”
12 |
|
And for Suleiman, the wind used to run for a month and rest for a month. And We made for him flowing streams of rain (or tar). From Jinn, they used to work in front of him with permission (assigned) from his Rabb. And whoever deviated among them from Our Commands, We made him taste the punishment of the Fire.”
13 |
|
They worked for him (Suleman) to do whatever he wanted: prayer niches, images, pitchers with conformity, and cooking pots fixed in place, work for the family of Dawood (for the family of Dawood) to be thankful,” but few from My servants are grateful.
14 |
|
Then, when We decreed death upon him (Suleman), nothing indicated to them of his death except the creature of the earth eating his staff (That Suleman was dead and his staff was not being used for some time). Then, when it fell, it became apparent to the jinn that if they had known the unseen (Dawood had died), they would not have lived in the degrading punishment.
15 |
|
There were signs already for Saba in their dwellings: two gardens, right and left. “Eat from the provisions of your Rabb and thank Him.” A good city and (favor from) Forgiving Rabb.
16 |
|
But they turned away (from Rabb), so, We sent on them the vast flood, and We change their two gardens with the two gardens with bitter fruit and deep-rooted things (produced) from lotus tree, small (quantities).
17 |
|
That is what We rewarded them due to their injustice. Would We reward anyone (with punishment) except the unjust?
18 |
|
And We made between them, and between the (neighboring) villages that we have blessed them, with meals served openly. We decreed their travel (to be easy). “Travel in the night, day, with peace.”
19 |
|
Then (but) they said, “Our Rabb, expand between our travel (increase the spatial separation of towns). They were cruel to themselves (by asking break from other towns), so, We made them history and shredded them into pieces. There are signs for every patient and thankful person.
20 |
|
And indeed, Iblis was correct about them in his suppositions. They followed him, except for a group of believers.
21 |
|
He (shaitan) did not have any power over them except for Us to know who believes in the Hereafter among them, (and) who is in doubt in that. Your Rabb is a Protector of Everything.
22 |
|
Say, "Call those you think (as a god or supporter) other than Allah. They own not an atom's weight in the universe or the earth, and they (who you call other than Allah) don't have any share in there, and there is nobody as a helper for Him (Allah) among them."
23 |
|
And the mediation will not benefit him, except whoever He (Allah) permits. Until, when their (mediators) hearts are frightened, they will say, “What did your Rabb say?” They will say, “The truth, and He is High Above, (He is) the Greatest.”
24 |
|
Say, “Who gives you the provisions from the sky and the earth?” Say, “Allah. And either we are, or you are, on the righteous path or in evident error.”
25 |
|
Say, “You will not be asked about what crimes we commit, and we will not be asked about what you do.”
26 |
|
Say, “Our Rabb will gather us; then He will disclose (open) the truth between us. He is the One, Opener (An Attribute of Allah), the All-Knowing.”
27 |
|
Say, “Show me those that you realize as His partners. Certainly not! But, Allah, He is the Most Powerful, the Wisest.”
28 |
|
We did not send you except who is sufficient to (guide) humankind, as a (final) Messenger (provider) of Good news and a Warner, but many of humanity do not know.
29 |
|
And they say, “When is the promise due if you are truthful?”
30 |
|
Say, “You are promised a Day that you will neither get delayed a moment nor bring forward.”
31 |
|
Those wrongdoers say, “We will never believe in this Quran or what is in front (before it).” If you could see the unjust, when stopped (halted) in front of their Rabb, (then they will be) turning to each other, by the words saying who deemed weak, to those who deemed great (important), “If it were not for you, we would have been believers.”
32 |
|
Those deemed great (important) will say to those deemed weak, “Did we stop you from guidance after it came to you? No, indeed, you were the criminals (you, yourself, were not believers).”
33 |
|
And those who are deemed weak will say to those who are deemed great (important), "It was you're trying to deceive, night and day when you were instructing us that we should be unjust with Allah and that we make partners with Him." They will hide their regret when they see the punishment. We will put collars (chains) on the necks of those who were unjust. Should they be rewarded anything but for what they were doing?
34 |
|
And We did not send any warner in the village except those living in luxury say, “We will never believe in that is sent with you.”
35 |
|
And they said, “We have more wealth and children, and we will not be punished.”
36 |
|
Say, “My Rabb expands the provisions to whomever He wants and controls it, but many of mankind do not know.”
37 |
|
It is neither your wealth nor your children that will bring you closer to Us, but it is he who believes and does the righteous deeds. For them, the reward will be multiplied for what they did, and they will be in peaceful rooms.
38 |
|
Those who struggle (try) to weaken Our signs (try to make insignificant the importance of His signs) will be present for the punishment.
39 |
|
Say, “Indeed, My Rabb expands the provisions to whomever He wants among His slaves and controls it. And whatever you spend on anything, He replaces it. He is the Best Provider.”
40 |
|
And On the Day when they will be gathered all together, then He (Allah) will say to the angels, “Are these, who used to worship you (angels)?”
41 |
|
They will say, “Praise to You; You are our Supporter, not them. In fact, they used to worship the jinn, and many of them were believers in them (jinn as a partner).”
42 |
|
“Today, none of you possess the power to profit or harm each other.” And We will say to those unjust, “Taste the punishment of the Fire that you used to deny.”
43 |
|
And when Our verses were recited on them clearly, they say, “Who is this, except a man who wants to divert you from what your forefathers were worshipping.” And they say, “This is nothing but a fabrication.” Those unjust said, when the truth came to them, “This is clear magic.”
44 |
|
And We did not give them the books they could learn from, nor did We send them a Warner before you.
45 |
|
And those before them also denied and they did not reach to one-tenth of what We had given them. They denied my Messengers, so, how was My disapproval?
46 |
|
Say, “Indeed, what I advise you is with one thing: devote yourselves for Allah in pairs or individually; and (then) reflect. Your friend is not possessed by jinn. He is only a Warner for you before the advent of severe punishment.”
47 |
|
Say, “I do not ask you of the reward (for me); it is for you. My reward is only on Allah, and He is the witness to everything.”
48 |
|
Say, “My Rabb casts (projects) the truth, and He knows the concealed (what is hidden).”
49 |

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. This task would require a team of scholars to research the historical context and include the latest scientific proofs to explain the definitions and meanings backed by research references. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. We are grateful to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for this blessing and strive to understand His message and seek His forgiveness. We appreciate your encouraging comments. Kindly inform us of any errors or suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: May Allah reward you with good.Response:

Assalamualaikum! I would like to share a helpful tip with you. If you want to get the Romanized English version of Arabic text, you can use Google's translation feature. Simply copy the ayat and paste it into Google's translation from Arabic. The Romanized English words will appear below the Arabic ayat. This feature will be helpful for you, and you can also use the listen feature. Additionally, websites offering transliterated Romanized English Quran are available. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan!Response:
Assalamualaikum, Thank you for your inquiry. I have used the root for اتقوا as تَقَى; however, وَقَى, has the same meaning when used as a verb. If we use, “those who are afraid of Allah”, we can use وَقَى, as root words. If we use “those who are devout, and pious”, then we can use تَقَى, as the root word. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:
