Ayat As-Sajda RootWords

سورة السجدة - 32 -

بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and The Most Compassionate
1

الٓمٓ﴿1﴾ج

Alif Laam Meem
2

تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿2﴾ط

رَابَ,
كَتَبَ,
نَزَلَ,
عَلِمَ,
The Book has been revealed, and there is no doubt it is from the Rabb of the universe.
3

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۚ بَلْ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًۭا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٍۢ مِّن قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ﴿3﴾

نَذَرَ,
قَالَ,
قَبِلَ,
فَرَىَ,
حَقَّ,
أَتَى,
هَدَى,
قَامَ,
عَلَّ,
Or do they say, “He (Mohammed -صلى الله عليه وسلم Salla Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam -Peace Be Upon Him) fabricated (The Quran).” But this (Al-Quran) is the Truth from your Rabb for you to warn the people; No Warner has come to them before you, so that they may be guided.

ٱللّٰهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ﴿4﴾

خَلَقَ,
سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
يَوْم,
سَوِيَ,
بَا نَ,
ذَكّرَ,
وَلِيَ,
عَرَشَ,
دُون,
سِتَّة,
شَفَعَ,
ثَمَّ,
Allah is the One who created the universe and the earth and what is between them in six (distinct) periods, and then He sat on the Throne. No one is a supporter and intercessor for you other than Him. Will you not remember?
5

يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِى يَوْمٍۢ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍۢ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ﴿5﴾

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
أَ مَرَ,
سَنَته,
عَرَجَ,
يَوْم,
قَدَرَ,
عَدَّ,
إِلَى,
دَبَرَ,
أَلْف,
كَانَ,
إِلَى,
ثَمَّ,
He Directs (Manages and Organizes) the instructions from the sky to the earth. They rise towards Him after a period of one thousand years. By your count.
6

ذَٰلِكَ عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿6﴾لا

غَابَ,
رَحِمَ,
عَزَّ,
عَلِمَ,
شَهِدَ,
ذَا,
That is Allah; He Knows the invisible and visible, the Most Powerful, the Most Merciful.
7

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ مِن طِينٍۢ﴿7﴾ج

خَلَقَ,
حَصَبَ,
شِاءَ,
بَدَأَ,
حَسَنَ,
أَنِسَ,
طِيِن,
كُلَّ,
He created everything in the best way (suitable to meet its environment and needs) and started (begin, basis, first) the creation of humankind from clay.
8

ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُۥ مِن سُلَٰلَةٍۢ مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ﴿8﴾ج

جَعَلَ,
سَلَّ,
مَهَنَ,
مَا ءَ,
نَسَلَ,
ثَمَّ,
"Then He made his descendants using a despised fluid that is withdrawn."
9

ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ﴿9﴾

جَعَلَ,
بَصُرَ,
رَاحَ,
قَلَّ,
شَكَرَ,
فُؤَاد,
سَمَعَ,
نَفَخَ,
سَوِيَ,
ثَمَّ,
Then proportioned (corrected) him and breathed into him from His soul, and made for you hearing, eyesight and the heart, but little do you thank Him. Note. (Body and organs are sized according to earth's gravity, air pressure, etc., to harmonize with their surroundings perfectly. Thank Allah for allowing us to see, hear, feel, and have a beating heart. The eyes and ears protect life and interact with the world to make life enjoyable for humans).
10

وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍۭ ۚ بَلْ هُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَٰفِرُونَ﴿10﴾

قَالَ,
ضَلَّ,
أَ رَضْ,
كَفَرَ,
لَقِيَ,
خَلَقَ,
جدَّ,
رَبَّ,
And they ask, "When we have been lost within the earth, will we indeed be recreated in a new creation?" Rather, they deny the meeting with their Rabb.
11

۞ قُلْ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ٱلَّذِى وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ﴿11﴾1ع

رَجَعَ,
قَالَ,
مَاتَ,
وَفَى,
إِلَى,
رَبَّ,
مَلَكَ,
وَكَلَ,
ثَمَّ,
فَاتَ,
Say, "The angel of death will pass (take) you over (from life to end), take charge of you. Then, towards your Rabb, you will be returned. (Say, "The angel of death will take control of you and lead you to your Lord).
12

وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ نَاكِسُوا۟ رُءُوسِهِمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ رَبَّنَآ أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا فَٱرْجِعْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ﴿12﴾

جَرَمَ,
رَأَسَ,
صَلَحَ,
رَأَى,
سَمَعَ,
عَنَدَ,
نَكَسَ,
بَصُرَ,
رَجَعَ,
عَمِلَ,
رَبَّ,
يَقِنَ,
When you see, the sinners lower their heads (in submission) to their Rabb: O our Rabb, “We have seen, and we have heard, so return us (into the world), and we will do righteous deeds as we have become certainly believers.”
13

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَـَٔاتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَىٰهَا وَلَٰكِنْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ مِنِّى لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ﴿13﴾

شِاءَ,
أَنِسَ,
أَتَى,
جَهَنَّم,
قَالَ,
حَقَّ,
نَفُسَ,
جَمَعَ,
جَنَّ,
كُلَّ,
مَلَأَ,
هَدَى,
Had We Willed, We would have brought its guidance to every soul, but My word is true: "I Will fill up Hell with jinn and mankind together."
14

فَذُوقُوا۟ بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَٰكُمْ ۖ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴿14﴾

عَذُبَ,
خَلَدَ,
ذَاقَ,
ذَاقَ,
نَسِيَ,
يَوْم,
لَقِيَ,
كَانَ,
عَمِلَ,
So, taste, because you forgot meeting this day of yours; (Now) We have forgotten you; so, taste the punishment of everlasting torment due to what you have done.
15

إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهَا خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًۭا وَسَبَّحُوا۟ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩﴿15﴾

خَرَّ,
ذَكّرَ,
سَجَدَ,
سَبَحَ,
كَبَرَ,
آ ىي -آية,
حَمِدَ,
أَ مُنَ,
رَبَّ,
Whoever believes in Our signs are those who, when mentioned about this, drop-down bowing and praise with glorification, and they are not arrogant. ۩ Prostration
16

تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًۭا وَطَمَعًۭا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ﴿16﴾

نَفَقَ,
رَدَفَ,
دَعَا,
خَافَ,
جَاءَ,
جَنَبَ,
صَارَ,
جَفَا,
رَزَقَ,
ضَجَعَ,
رَبَّ,
طَمِعَ,
عَنْ,
رَبَّ,
They avoid their sides (to sleep) in the bedrooms, as they call their Rabb, with fear and hope, and from what We have provided them, they spend.
17

فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أُخْفِىَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍۢ جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿17﴾

عَلِمَ,
نَفُسَ,
قَرَّ,
عين,
جَزَى,
خَفَيَ,
كَانَ,
عَمِلَ,
No soul knows what is hidden for them as the delight (joy) to the eyes, a reward for what they used to do.
18

أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤْمِنًۭا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًۭا ۚ لَّا يَسْتَوُۥنَ﴿18﴾ص

أَ مُنَ,
فًسًقَ,
كَانَ,
سَوِيَ,
Can someone who is a believer (patient and righteous) be equal to someone sinful? They are not equal.
19

أَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّٰتُ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ نُزُلًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿19﴾

أَ مُنَ,
جَنَّ,
عَمِلَ,
نَزَلَ,
صَلَحَ,
كَانَ,
أَوَى,
As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them, the gardens of paradise are a place to retreat, as hospitality for what they used to do.
20

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا۟ فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَرَادُوٓا۟ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَآ أُعِيدُوا۟ فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ﴿20﴾

نَار,
عَذُبَ,
ذَاقَ,
عَادَ,
كَذَبَ,
خَرَجَ,
قَالَ,
فًسًقَ,
رَادَ,
كُلَّ,
كَانَ,
عَلَّ,
But for those who lead unrighteous (life), their resting place is the Fire. Every time they want to leave from there, they will be brought back to it, and it will be said to them, “Taste punishment of the Fire that you were denying.”
21

وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ﴿21﴾

رَجَعَ,
عَذُبَ,
دَنَا,
كَبَرَ,
ذَاقَ,
دُون,
لَعَلَّ,
We will make them taste the lower (more minor) punishment before the greater punishment so that maybe they will return. (realize and understand)
22

وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦ ثُمَّ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهَآ ۚ إِنَّا مِنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ مُنتَقِمُونَ﴿22﴾2ع

جَرَمَ,
ذَكّرَ,
آ ىي -آية,
ظَلَمَ,
عَرُضَ,
نَقَمَ,
رَبَّ,
ثَمَّ,
And who did more injustice than him, who ignored the verses of his Rabb when mentioned to him? Surely, We will avenge the sinners.
23

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِى مِرْيَةٍۢ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هُدًۭى لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ﴿23﴾ج

هَدَى,
جَعَلَ,
أَتَى,
كَتَبَ,
مَرْي,
لَقِيَ,
اِبْن,
قَدْ,
We gave Musa the Book so as not to be suspicious of meeting Allah and made it a guide for the children of Israel.
24

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةًۭ يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا۟ ۖ وَكَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ﴿24﴾

يَقِنَ,
جَعَلَ,
آ ىي -آية,
أَ مَرَ,
هَدَى,
صَبَرَ,
كَانَ,
أَ مَّ,
And We appointed leaders among them, to guide according to Our instructions; they were patient and believed in Our verses.
25

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ﴿25﴾

بَا نَ,
يَوْم,
قَامَ,
خَلَفَ,
فَصَلَ,
كَانَ,
رَبَّ,
Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, your Rabb will judge between them regarding their disagreements.
26

أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِى مَسَٰكِنِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍ ۖ أَفَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ﴿26﴾

سَمَعَ,
قَبِلَ,
آ ىي -آية,
قَرَنَ,
هَلَكَ,
مَشَى,
سَكَنَ,
ذَا,
هَدَى,
كَم,
Isn't this a guidance for people? How many civilizations before them have been destroyed while they were walking (iveing) in their homes? There are signs. Why don't they listen?
27

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا نَسُوقُ ٱلْمَآءَ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًۭا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَٰمُهُمْ وَأَنفُسُهُمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ﴿27﴾

نَفُسَ,
أَكَلَ,
أَ رَضْ,
مَا ءَ,
خَرَجَ,
رَأَى,
بَصُرَ,
نَعَمَ,
زَرَعَ,
سَاقَ,
كُلَّ,
إِلَى,
Do they not see that we run water (to irrigate) barren lands to produce crops for their livestock and themselves? Don't they see?
28

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْفَتْحُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿28﴾

صَدَقَ,
قَالَ,
مَتَى,
فَتَحَ,
كَانَ,
And they say, “When is the disclosure (when it will be decided) if you are truthful?”
29

قُلْ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِيمَٰنُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ﴿29﴾

كَفَرَ,
نَفَعَ,
يَوْم,
قَالَ,
نَظَرَ,
فَتَحَ,
أَ مُنَ,
Say, “On the day of disclosure (decision), there will be no benefit for those who are ungrateful in their beliefs, and they will not be granted respite (or delay).
30

فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَٱنتَظِرْ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ﴿30﴾3ع

عَرُضَ,
نَظَرَ,
"So, turn away from them and wait. They are among those who are waiting", (expecting).
