4 |
|
In a few years (Romans will be victorious). All the decrees (commands, orders, decisions) are with Allah before and after. On that day, believers will be happy.

They know what is evident in this world's (present) life and are ignorant of the Hereafter. (consequences of their actions).
8 |

(Why) Do they not reflect within themselves? Allah has created the universe, the earth, and whatever is between them, with truth (facts) and for an appointed term. But many human beings are denying the meeting with their Rabb.
9 |
|
"Have they not traveled through the land and observed how the people before them were punished? They were more powerful, with more impressive civilizations in the land, and flourished more than these flourished. Their messengers came to them with clear signs. Allah did not do injustice to them, but they were doing injustice to themselves. (They were unjust by not following the messengers).
10 |
|
Then, the punishment came for those who were evil. The evil is that they denied the signs of Allah, and they were mocking these (signs).
11 |
|
Allah initiates the creation and then repeats it. Then, to Him, you will be returned.

|
On the Day when the time stands still, offenders will be hopeless.
13 |

|
On the Day when the time will stand, on the Day they will be separated.
15 |
|
As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, they will be happy in the gardens.
16 |
|
But for those who did injustice and denied Our signs and meeting in the Hereafter, will be presented (prepared, summoned) for the punishment.
17 |

|
He is the One Who originates the creation and then repeats it, and it is easy for Him. For Him is the highest example in the universe and the earth. He is the Most Powerful, the Wisest.
28 |
|
There is an example for you among yourselves: Do you share sustenance that We provided you with those your right hand owns (under your care)? Are you afraid that they will become equal to you? We (show) details of Our signs for the people who understand.
29 |
|
Yet, those who did the injustice followed their desires without knowledge. But who can guide them (after) Allah leaves them misguided? For them, there is no helper.
30 |
|
So, stand up to aim for the true religion, a nature that Allah has given the natural disposition for humankind. There is no altering in what Allah has created. That is the established religion (noble way), but many humans do not know. (Note: Islam is a natural way of life for humans).
31 |
|
They turn to Him from time after time, fear Him, establish prayers, and are not among those who associate partners (with Allah).
32 |
|
They split off from their religion, formed their group, and were satisfied with their part.
33 |
|
When pain (hardship) touches the men, they call their Rabb, turning towards Him from time after time. But then, when He gives them a taste of His mercy (relieves the pain), a group of them makes partners with their Rabb . (They forget Allah and give credit to someone else for removing their hardships).
34 |
|
To do injustice with what We have provided them. Then enjoy it for (now). You will know soon.
35 |
|
Did We send them proof, which talks to them about what they make partners?
36 |
|
When We give a taste to humankind with mercy, he becomes happy with it. But when grief reaches them, due to what their hands have preceded, they become hopeless.
37 |
|
Do they not see that Allah grants livelihood to whomever He wants and gives measured? There are signs for the people (nation) who believe.
38 |
|
So, give the relatives their rights, the poor, and the travelers. That is best for those seeking (acceptance by) Allah. They will be successful.
39 |
|
What you give (take) increment (usury) to increase humankind's wealth does not increase with Allah. But what you give in for righteousness (purity, almsgiving) for seeking (acceptance by) Allah. They will be (rewarded) with multiples.
40 |
|
Allah is He Who created you, then provided sustenance to you, then brought you death, and then will bring you back to life. Can any of your partners do anything (like) this?. Praise Him, for He is high above those whom they associate with Him as partners.
41 |
|
Corruption has appeared in the land and the sea due to what man's hands have earned (caused). For them to taste (results of) some of what they have acted, maybe they will return (to Allah).
42 |
|
Say, "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who came before you. Many of them were polytheists."
43 |
|
So, establish your aim for the establishment of religion (Islam) before that Day comes when there is no turning back from Allah (no turning back to the world). On that Day, they will be overcome.
44 |
|
Whoever disbelieved, his disbelief is upon himslef. And whoever did righteous deeds, he was preparing (facilitating) for himself.
45 |
|
To reward those who believe and do righteous deeds from His grace; He does not like the disbelievers.
46 |
|
One of His signs is the wind, which brings good news for you to taste His mercy and allows ships to sail at His command so that you may seek His bounties and be grateful.
47 |
|
And indeed, We sent the Messengers before you to their nation. They came to them with clear signs. Then We took revenge on those who were aggressors. It was right for Us to help the believers.
48 |
|
Allah is the One who sends the wind with rising clouds. He spreads them across the sky as He sees fit and breaks them apart. You can see the raindrops piercing through the clouds, and when it reaches those whom He has chosen among His servants, they feel joyous.
49 |
|
And they were hopeless before We sent down (rain) to them.
50 |
|
So, see marks (signs, traces) of the Mercy of Allah, how He gives life to the earth after its death. He is the Reviver of the dead. He has power over everything.
51 |
|
But if We send a wind, and they see it yellow, they will become nonbelievers after this. (Exposure to the intense sunlight of bright, cloudless summer days can be too much for sensitive plants. Reflected light from walls and other surfaces can also add to the problem. Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. This task would require a team of scholars to research the historical context and include the latest scientific proofs to explain the definitions and meanings backed by research references. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:

We want to keep the dictionary in original format, and the great work done by author Maan Zulfi Madina and Columbia University. We do have plan to digitize the dictionary later if the permission is granted. Please continue to use the website and send us recommendations. Please share the website with others. Walakum Assalam, Kashif The Website is working good, sometimes the links takes time to respond and open the page of the dictionary. If you wait or login again it should resolve the issue. Keep us informed if you find that word links are not responding. We are working on upgrades where each word will be directly linked to Dictionary. JAKResponse:
