||
|
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. | ||
| 1 |
|
| Alif-Laam-Meem | ||
| 2 |
|
| Allah, there is no God except Him, the Everlasting Living, the Everlasting ETERNAL. | ||
| 3 |
|
| Revealed (sent down) on you is the Book with the truth, confirming (Divine Books; Tawrat, Zabur, Injil, and Suhuf) before this, and He revealed Torah and the Injeel. (He Revealed this believable Book, including Tawrat and Injeel). | ||
| 4 |
|
| Before, as guidance for humankind, He sent down the proof (evidence, distinction). Indeed, a painful punishment (awaits) for those who are ungrateful to verses-signs of Allah. Allah is Most Powerful to Punish | ||
| 5 |
|
| Indeed, nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the universe. (Everything is well known to Allah in the world or the universe). | ||
| 6 |
|
| He is the One Who gives you shapes in the womb how He wishes. There is no God except Him, the Most Powerful, the Wisest. | ||
| 7 |
|
| He is the One Who revealed the book to you. In this, there are firm (solid, accurate, precise) verses, those are the sources of the book, and others are similar (obscure passages in Koran). Those who deviate from the truth in their hearts follow what is not specified in this, seeking discord and its interpretation. Only Allah knows its interpretations, and those established in knowledge say, “We believe in all of this, this is all from our Rabb.” But no one remembers except those with intelligent minds. | ||
| 8 |
|
| “O our Rabb! Do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us Your Mercy; indeed, you are the Most Generous.” | ||
| 9 |
|
| "Our Rabb! You will gather humankind on the day; there's no doubt about it." "Allah never breaks His promise." | ||
| 10 |
|
| For those who do not believe, there will be nothing that will be useable for them, their wealth, or their children against Allah. They will be the fuel to the Fire. | ||
| 11 |
|
| Like the persistent habit of the family of Firon and those before them, they (persistently) denied Our signs, So Allah held them accountable for their sins. Allah is Severe in punishment. | ||
| 12 |
|
| Say to those who do not believe, “Soon, you will be defeated, and you will be gathered (placed) in hell, a miserable resting place.” | ||
| 13 |
|
| There is a sign for you in two groups when they meet (to fight). One group fought in Allah's path (cause), and the other was nonbelievers. They saw them with their eyes, twice in number. But Allah aids with His help whomever He desires. In this, there are warnings for those with vision. Ref. The Battle of Badr (غزوة بدر, Ghazwat Badr) was fought between Muslims and Quraish, and won by Muslims on Tuesday, 13 March 624 CE (17 Ramadan, 2 AH), near the present-day city of Badr, Al Madinah). | ||
| 14 |
|
| Adorned (enhance appeal) to humanity's (deepest) passions of love, such as women and children, and vaults upon vaults with gold and silver, and branded horses, cattle, and cultivated fields. These possessions of enjoyment belong to this world, but with Allah is a beautiful place (to come back, return). | ||
| 15 |
|
| Say, "Shall I inform you of something better than that? Those who fear their Rabb will live forever in gardens with rivers running beneath them, and their chaste (virtuous) mates, and acceptance from Allah." Allah is Keenly Aware of every humankind. | ||
| 16 |
|
| Those who say, “Our Rabb, indeed, we believe, so, forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.” | ||
| 17 |
|
| They are the patient, the truthful (authentic speakers of the truth), the obedient, those who spend, and those who ask for forgiveness in the (early hours) of the morning. | ||
| 18 |
|
| Allah gives Witness that there is no God but Him, the angels, and those with knowledge standing with justice (correctness). There is no God except Him, The Most Powerful, The Wisest, | ||
| 19 |
|
| Islam is the religion of Allah. Those who were given the Book did not differ except after the knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves. Those who deny the signs and verses of Allah, then Allah is swift in the reckoning (account). | ||
| 20 |
|
| If they argue with you, then say, "I submit to Allah's direction (face) and those who follow me." Tell those who have been given the book and the uneducated, "Have you submitted?" If they submit, they will surely be guided, but if they turn away, then on you (the only responsibility) is to convey the message. Allah is All-Seeing (Has keen knowledge) of humankind (His slaves). | ||
| 21 |
|
| Indeed, those who deny Allah's verses-signs and kill prophets without justification, and kill those among humankind who instruct them with justice, then announce the good news to them of a painful punishment. | ||
| 22 |
|
| The deeds of those individuals are useless in this world and the Hereafter. They have no helpers. | ||
| 23 |
|
| Did you see those given a share of the Book of Allah when they were called upon to be judged by the Book of Allah among them? Then a group of them turned away and objected. | ||
| 24 |
|
| That is because they said, “The fire will never touch us, except for a few days.” their fabrications deceived (misguided) them in their beliefs. | ||
| 25 |
|
| Then, how (it will be) when they will be gathered on the day, there is no doubt in it, and every soul will be compensated according to what he has earned, and they will not be treated unjustly? | ||
| 26 |
|
| Say, “O Allah, You are the Owner of the Kingdom. You give the kingdom to whom you want and take away the kingdom (domain) from whom You wish. You give honor to whom You want to and degrade whom You want to. In Your Hand is the Good; indeed, You have Control over everything.” | ||
| 27 |
|
| You provide refuge for the night into the day, and you provide shelter for the day into the night, and you bring out the life from the dead, and you bring out the dead from the living, and you give the provisions of life to whom you want without any account. | ||
| 28 |
|
| The believers should not take the nonbelievers as their supporters instead of believers. Whoever does that is not with Allah in anything, except if you fear them, as in self precaution (own safety). Allah warns you of Himself. To Allah is the final return. | ||
| 29 |
|
| Say Allah knows whether you hide or reveal what is in your heart. He Knows what is in the universe and the earth. Allah has Control over everything. | ||
| 30 |
|
| On the day, every soul will find all the good he has done presented. And what evil he has done, he will wish for a long-distance (period) separation between them (evil and itself). Allah warns you about Himself. Allah is Most Kind and Compassionate towards His slaves. | ||
| 31 |
|
| Say, "If you love Allah, follow me. Allah will love you and forgive your sins." Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. | ||
| 32 |
|
| Say, “Obey (follow, comply, voluntary comply) Allah and the Messenger.” But if they turn away, then indeed, Allah does not love the ungrateful. | ||
| 33 |
|
| Allah has chosen Adam and Noah, children of Abraham, and children of Imran, above the worlds. | ||
| 34 |
|
| They are the progeny of each other. Allah is All Listening, All-Knowing. | ||
| 35 |
|
| When the wife of Imran said, "O my Rabb, I have vowed to dedicate to you what is in my womb, liberated, so, accept from me. You are All Listening, All-Knowing." [(Note. The supplication of Hazrat Maryam Alayhas Salaam's (Peace Be Upon Her) mother was fulfilled by Allah, who decreed that Hazrat Maryam Alayhas Salaam (Peace Be Upon Her) would be liberated from all worldly obligations to dedicate herself fully to Allah. Allah even supplied sustenance for Hazrat Maryam Alayhas Salaam (Peace Be Upon Her), ensuring she had no worries about provisions)]. | ||
| 36 |
|
| Then, when she delivered, she said, “O my Rabb, I have delivered a female,” and Allah knows what she delivered, “and a male is not as a female, and I have named her Maryam, and for her, I seek refuge in you and her offspring from the cursed Shaitan.” [(Note. This prayer of the mother of Hazrat Maryam Alayhas Salaam (Peace Be Upon Her) was also accepted by Allah, that her offspring should be protected against shaitan by Allah. Hazrat Maryam Alayhas Salaam (Peace Be Upon Her) And Esah Alayhas Salaam (Peace Be Upon Him) Were Protected, And offspring Ended At Esah Alayhas Salaam (Peace Be Upon Him)]. | ||
| 37 |
|
| Then her Rabb accepted her with good approval and properly raised her, and Zachariah cared for her. Every time Zachariah entered her prayer room, he found food with her. He said, “O Mariam, where did you get this from?” She said, “This is from Allah; He provides for whom He chooses without any accountability." | ||
| 38 |
|
| There, Zachariah called his Rabb; he said, “O my Rabb, grant me noble (clean, kind) offspring from You; You are the All-Hearing.” | ||
| 39 |
|
| Then Angels called him when he was standing, praying in the prayer room, “Allah gives you good news of Yahya, who will testify words of Allah, and will be a leader, and he will confine himself to boundaries set by Allah and will be a prophet among the righteous.” | ||
| 40 |

| These are clear signs of the place of Ibrahim's standing. Whoever enters this is in peace. Humankind who can travel to this house shall perform the pilgrimage for Allah, but whoever is ungrateful (should remember) that Allah is above any need in the universe. | ||

| And cling to the rope of Allah, altogether, and do not be divided. And remember the favors of Allah on you; when you were enemies, and Allah united your hearts later, and you became brothers from His blessings. And you were on the edge of the pit of the fire, and He saved you from it. This is how Allah makes His signs clear for you so, that you may be guided. | ||

|
| On the day when some faces will turn white and others black, those with blackened faces will be asked, "Did you reject faith after believing (embracing) it?" Then, taste the punishment for your ingratitude. | ||
| 107 |

| You are the best of all people brought for humankind: you instruct with known facts, prevent atrocities, and believe in Allah. If the people of the Book had been believers, it would have been good for them. Among them are believers, but many of them are transgressors. | ||

| Humiliation has been imposed on them wherever you find them, except tied up from Allah and tied up from the people, and they have brought wrath from Allah, and poverty is imposed on them. That is because they have been ungrateful with signs-verses of Allah, and they killed the prophets without justification. That is because they disobeyed and committed hostile acts. | ||

|
| They are not the same. Among the people of the Book is a community that stands (on righteousness); they recite verses of Allah in the night and prostrate. | ||
| 114 |

|
| An example of whatever they spend in the life of this world is like the frosty wind that reaches the cultivation (farms) of the nation who were unjust to themselves and then destroyed it. Allah did not do Injustice to them, but they did Injustice to themselves. | ||

Allah is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts.” | ||

| Yes, but if you are patient and fear Allah, and if they (the enemy) will come to you suddenly, your Rabb will help you with five thousand designated Angels. | ||

| O Prophet, there is nothing for you in the matter (to decide) whether He accepts their repentance or punishes them because they are unjust. | ||

|
| These traditions (customary practice) before you have already passed. So, travel the earth and see how the punishment was for those who lied (Travel and witness the consequences of denying the truth.). | ||

| If a sore touches you, then a sore like it has touched the people. These are times when We alternate among people (to empower people to take turns) so Allah will Know (distinguish) those who are believers and bear witness among you. Allah does not love the unjust. | ||

| So, Allah purifies those who believe (put to the test and purifies after examination) and annihilates the nonbelievers. | ||

|
| Do you think you will enter paradise when Allah has not yet made evident to those who struggle patiently among you in the cause of Allah? | ||

| And "محمدﷺ" Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is only just a Messenger. Messengers already have passed before him. If he dies or gets killed, would you turn back on your heels? Whoever turns back on his heels will never harm Allah in anything. And soon, Allah will compensate those who are thankful. | ||

|
| It is not for any soul to die except by permission (authorization) from Allah at a predestined time. Those who seek reward in this world, We will give him in this (world), while those who look for compensation in the Hereafter, We will give in that (Hereafter), and soon We shall reward those who are grateful. | ||

| How many Prophets fought along with their many supporters? They did not get discouraged by what came to them in Allah's path, nor did they become weak or give in. God loves those who are patient. | ||

|
| And already Allah had proven true to His promise to you when you were seeking their information (inflicting them) with His permission (for the battle of Uhad) until you failed (when you were losing the winning battle due to disobeying the order of Prophet Mohammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ • (ṣallā llāhu ʿalayhī wa-Sallam), to stay in position at the hill), and disputed the matter, and disobeyed (Prophet) after what you saw, what you desired from them (to go after the bounty of war). Some among you desired the (pleasures of this) world, and some desired the Hereafter. Then He diverted you away from them (your enemies) for you to be tested and forgave you. Allah is Most Kind to the believers. | ||

|
| Remember when you were climbing and not turning (paying attention) to anyone, and the Messenger called you from behind you. Then He caused distress upon distress on you so that you would (learn a lesson) not to grieve on what escaped from you or what you gained (acquired). Allah Has Full Knowledge of what you do. | ||
| 154 |

| Then He sent down peace (the feeling of being safe) on you after the distress. A peaceful slumber covered a group of you, and already other group thought themselves, by considering false thought in Allah, (that was a) consideration of ignorance, they were saying, “Is there anything for us (to say) in the matter?” Say, “The matter altogether is for Allah.” They were hiding in themselves what they were not declaring to you. They said, “If there were anything for us to decide in the matter, We wouldn’t have gotten killed here.” Say, “Even if you had been in your homes, Allah would have made them stand out and decreed on them to get killed on their deathbeds.” Allah would have put you on trial for what is in your mind and put to the test what is in your heart. Allah Knows the hidden thoughts. | ||

| Those who turned back on the day the two armies met, Shaitan caused some individuals to undervalue what they had already earned (exploiting their weaknesses). Allah has forgiven them. Allah is the Most Forgiving and the Most Forbearing. | ||

| O you those who believe! Do not be like those who disbelieved and said to their brothers when they traveled on the earth or had been active in an invasion, “If they were with us, they would not have died, and they would not have been killed.” So, Allah has made that regret in their hearts. Allah grants life and death, and He observes all your actions. He is the All-Seeing. | ||

| Because of Mercy from Allah, He has softened you (made Prophet Mohammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ • gentle) for them. If you had been rude and harsh in the heart, they would have dispersed from around you. So, pardon them, ask for their forgiveness, and consult with them in the matter of affairs. When you make a decision, trust in Allah, for Allah loves those who trust Him. | ||

| When hardship reached you (due to the loss of the battle of Uhad), even though you caused them twice similar hardship (by winning the battle of Badr), you say, “What is this?” (Why are we losing this battle?) Say, “This is from your own selves.” (Because you did not follow the commands of the Prophet). Allah has Control over everything. | ||
