الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا

He is the King of the universe and the earth, He did not take a son for Himself, and no one shares with Him in the kingdom. He created everything with a predetermined (value, estimate, measure, quantity) destiny.
3

Those nonbelievers say, “This is only a lie he fabricated, and he was helped on this by other people.” Indeed, They came with injustice and falsehood. (No teacher taught Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), Peace be upon him, and he could not read or write to produce any book before Quran, and this Aayt indicates that Quran is from Allah).
5

Or “If only a treasure were given to him.” Or “If only he had gardens for him that he eats from it.” And the unjust say, “You follow only a man who is mesmerized.”
9

But (In fact), they deny the Hour of Resurrection, and We have prepared the blazing Fire for him who refused the time (Hour) of Resurrection.

18

قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنبَغِي لَنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ مِن دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَكِن مَّتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءهُمْ حَتَّى نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ ۚ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا

They will say, “Praise is to you. It was not our purpose (it was not appropriate for us) to take other than You as Supporter, but their desires and their forefathers (misled them) until they forgot the Remembrance (Guidance), and they became a destroyed nation.”
19

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُم بِمَا تَقُولُونَ ۙ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًا ۚ وَمَن يَظْلِم مِّنكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا

Then indeed, they (who were worshipped, now) have denied you about what you say, so you will not be able to turn away nor helped (from punishment). Whoever is unjust among you, We will make him taste significant punishment.
20

وَما أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ ؕ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً ؕ أَتَصْبِرُونَ ۚ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا ࣖ

We did not send before you the Messengers, but they ate food and walked in the marketplaces (to trade necessities of daily life). And We made some of you test some others, will you be patient? Your Rabb is All-Seeing.
21

Those who did not believe said, “Why was the Quran not sent down altogether at once on him?” This is how We established this in your heart (make it steadfast, slowly, step by step) and recited to you slowly and distinctly.

[Note: There is a density difference that initially causes salt water and fresh to layer. That means that after layering, the fresh water must diffuse into the salt water, taking time to do so. Eventually they equalize. Mixing would be faster, but difusion is the only means because of layering due to density difference. Agitation and stirring would equalize faster if that were the desired result].REF-quora.com

He is the One Who created human beings from water. Then He made for him relatives (descendants) and in-laws. And Your Rabb is Powerful. NOTE: From a biological standpoint, water has many distinct properties that are critical for the proliferation of life. It carries out this role by allowing organic compounds to react in ways that ultimately allow replication. All known forms of life depend on water. Water is vital both as a solvent in which many of the body's solutes dissolve and as an essential part of many metabolic processes within the body. Metabolism is the sum total of anabolism and catabolism. In anabolism, water is removed from molecules (through energy requiring enzymatic chemical reactions) in order to grow larger molecules (e.g., starches, triglycerides, and proteins for storage of fuels and information). In catabolism, water is used to break bonds in order to generate smaller molecules (e.g., glucose, fatty acids, and amino acids to be used for fuels for energy use or other purposes). Without water, these particular metabolic processes could not exist] REF Wikepedia.

Dear Admin, you have written صدق الله العظيم as part of every sorah and even given it an ayat number while it is not part of the Quran. The Holy Quran does not have this verse and there is no example of writing these words in the Quran so please remove this as it is a kind of tehreef.JazakAllah

Response:

Assalam u Alakum Qaisrani, We appreciate your comment. The line صدق الله العظيم, ALLAH HAS SPOKEN THE GREATEST TRUTH, was added to be read after the recitation of Al-Quran as a regular practice. We agree with your comment that these lines are not part of Al-Quran and should not number as a continuation of Ayats. We will remove these lines on the next upgrade. It has become part of the database at present, and for now, we will add clarifications to these lines. Please let us know if you find any other mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Mashaa Allah may Allah rewards you for the great works. Is it possible if it also contains arabic to arabic dictionary and perhaps later we can also do the etimology study of each of the quranic words original meaning

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Luqman Abdurahman We received the Message of Al-Quran from Prophet Muhammed Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam : صلى الله عليه و سلم also ﷺ) . WHAT WE READ IN AL-QURAN ARE WORDS of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta`ala, الله سبحانه وتعالى FROM WISEST AND GREATEST MAN ON THE EARTH and this is our blessing in our life that we received the Guidance, and Thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. We need to understand the meanings of each word and context of the Ayahs. We appreciate your recommendation and will try to add the etymology of words. We need the help of readers like you to further advance this website. Please let us know if you find any mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good”

Its a stunning work. i am learning arabic and deeply interested to speak fluently. If you can provide the linking pages as text reference, will be a great boon for us. through that we can also search for any words that appear in texts and refer back to the root. it is also the reverse way. But now the linked dictionary pages are in pdf or image only ref. But thanks very much for this wonderful work. Ifyou can make a tool out of it..we can contribute to it as i know time is spent very much on it.

Response:

Assalamu’alaikum Babu, It is our blessing from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, that He sent us His Great Messenger, Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu hu Alaihi Wassalam, with Quran. It is Guidance for our lives. We must understand, each word of Quran, and ask for His guidance, Forgiveness and Acceptance. We thank you for your comments of encouragement. We want to keep the dictionary in original format, and the great work done by author Maan Zulfi Madina and Columbia University. We do have plan to digitize the dictionary later if the permission is granted. Please continue to use the website and send us recommendations. Please share the website with others. Jazakallah

Salam - For the last 10 years I have been searching for a similar tool that can connect the Quranic ayats with their root words. This is a revolutionary tool that truly fulfils the gap in understanding that existed between the meaning and spirt of each ayat. After gaining this deeper level of understanding the process of reading quran becomes a process which is a dialogue between your soul and Allah. Now i understand why this message was such a transformational tool in the lives of sahaba since they understood the root meaning of quranic ayats. I feel like this is the need of the hour and this tool will truly helps us in establishing and connecting back to our true ibrahimic roots. I would like to send my deepest gratitude to team behind this master piece.May the ummah benefit from this revolutionary tool.

Walakum Assalam, Waleed, We received the Message of Al-Quran from Prophet Muhammad Salla-Allahu Alayhi Wasallam, and this is our blessing in our life, and to Thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. All we can do is to try understanding His Message and ask for His Forgiveness. Your comments were encouraging; we are working on the next phase of update where we will add few more words and few corrections, along with links of dictionary pages enabled, just by hovering over the Ayats. Please let us know if you find any mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. JAK.

Salam - JazakAllahu Khairan for operating this website. It is very helpful in learning the root words that are associated with the ayats of the quran. I noticed today that the links to the dictionary are not working. I am not sure if it is only me who is seeing this or others are experiencing the same issue. Regards

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Kashif The Website is working good, sometimes the links takes time to respond and open the page of the dictionary. If you wait or login again it should resolve the issue. Keep us informed if you find that word links are not responding. We are working on upgrades where each word will be directly linked to Dictionary. JAK
