||
||
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
1 |
|
Blessed (Praised, Provides Unlimited Benefits) is He Who Sent Down the criterion (proof, evidence, the Koran) on His slave (worshiper, prophet Mohammad (ﷺ)) so that he is the Warner for the worlds. (Blessed is He who sent down the Quran on Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), as proof for humanity).
2 |
|
He is the King of the universe and the earth; He did not take a son for Himself, and no one shares with Him in the kingdom. He created everything with a predetermined (value, estimate, measure, quantity) destiny.
3 |
|
They take other gods besides Him who do not create anything. These were made and not capable of harming or benefiting themselves or others. They are not capable of causing death, giving life, or bringing about resurrection.
4 |
|
Those nonbelievers allege, “This is only a lie he fabricated, and others have assisted him on this.” Indeed, They came with injustice and falsehood. (No teacher taught Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), Peace be upon him, and he could not read or write to produce any book before the Quran, and this Ayat indicates that the Quran is from Allah).
5 |
|
And they allege, “These are fable myths of the ancestors (forefathers) that he has had written, and they are dictated to him morning and evening.”
6 |
|
Say, “This was sent by Him who knows the secrets (what is hidden, how He created everything) of the universe and the earth, and He is the Most Forgiving and Merciful.”
7 |
|
And they wonder, "What kind of messenger is this? He eats food and walks in the markets. Why was no angel sent down to accompany him, so that he could be a warner with him?"
8 |
|
Or "If only he had been given treasures" or "If only he had been given gardens from which he could eat." And the unjust say, "You follow only a mesmerized man."
9 |
|
Look at what kind of examples they make for you. They are lost, and they cannot (find) a path (to guidance).
10 |
|
Blessed is He Who, if He Wills, can make better for you than that: gardens beneath which rivers flow, and He can make for you palaces.
11 |
|
But (In fact), they deny the Hour of Resurrection, and We have prepared the blazing Fire for him who refuses the time (Hour) of Resurrection.
12 |
|
When they see it from a faraway place, they will hear it, blowing off with rage.
13 |
|
And when they are thrown in a confined place, connected (chained), they will ask to be destroyed (ruined, cease to exist).
14 |
|
On this day, do not ask to be destroyed once, but ask to be destroyed many times.
15 |
|
Say, "Is the reward of the Everlasting Gardens promised to those who fear God better than this?" Such is their destination, a reward (for their deeds).
16 |
|
And for them in there, they will have whatever they want in it forever. "This is a promise from your Rabb in response. |
|
|
17 |
|
On the Day when they will be gathered, and those they used to worship other than Allah, He will ask, “Did you mislead these my servants, or did they mislead from the path (of guidance) themselves?”
18 |
|
They will say, “Praise is to you. It was not appropriate for us to take other than You as Supporter, but their desires and their forefathers (misled them) until they forgot the Remembrance (Guidance), and they became a destroyed nation.”
19 |
|
Then indeed, they (who were worshipped, now) have denied you about what you say, so you will not be able to turn away nor get help (to avoid punishment). Whoever is unjust among you, We will make him taste a great punishment.
20 |
|
We did not send before you the Messengers, but they ate food and walked in the marketplaces (to trade necessities of daily life). And We made some of you test some others, will you be patient? Your Rabb is All-Seeing.
21 |
|
Those who do not hope (seek) to meet with Us say, “If (why) not the angels were sent to us, or (why not) we could see our Rabb.” They are filled with pride and exhibit arrogance, displaying an attitude of great defiance.
22 |
|
On the Day when they will see the angels, there will not be good news on that Day for the sinners; and they (Angels) will say, “(you are) confined (no escape) and prohibited (restrained).”
23 |
|
And We Will Bring (out) what deeds they did, and We Will Make their deeds as scattered dust.
24 |
|
On the Day of Judgment, the companions of Paradise will be settled in a better and more excellent abode.
25 |
|
And on the Day, When the sky tears through the clouds, the angels will come down in successive descent.
26 |
|
The Supreme Reign will be for the Merciful on the Day to prevail the truth, and the Day will be difficult on the nonbelievers.
27 |
|
On the Day, the wrongdoers will bite on their hands, saying, “If only I had taken (followed) the path with the Messenger.
28 |
|
O disaster for me, I wish I had not taken so, and so, as a friend.
29 |
|
Indeed, he misled me from the Remembrance after it came to me; and shaitan was preventing humankind (from getting guidance).”
30 |
|
And the Messenger said, "O my Lord, my people have taken this Quran as a thing abandoned."
31 |
|
And thus, We have appointed for every Prophet, an enemy among the criminals. But sufficient is your Rabb as a Guide and a Helper.
32 |
|
Those who did not believe said, “Why was the Quran not sent down altogether at once on him?” This is how We established this in your heart (make it steadfast, slowly, step by step) and recited it to you slowly and distinctly.
33 |
|
They do not come to you with any example (argument) except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation (to stand and counter their objections).
34 |
|
Those who are destined for Hell are the most evil and on the most misguided path.
35 |
|
And We gave Musa the Book, and We made his brother Haroon an assistant to him.
36 |
|
Then We said to them, “Go to the nation of those who denied Our signs,” and then We destroyed them, (completely) annihilating (them).
37 |
|
And the nation of Noah: when they denied the messengers, We drowned them and made them a sign for humankind. We have prepared for the unjust, painful punishment.
38 |
|
And 'Aad, Thamud, and the companions of Rass, and many generations in between them.
39 |
|
To each, We made them as examples, and We destroyed each one (of them with complete) destruction.
40 |
|
Indeed, they came to the village, where the rain of hardship was rained. Did they not notice this? But they did not expect to be resurrected.
41 |
|
And when they see you, they take you just as to mock you: Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a messenger?
42 |
|
“He would have misled us from our gods if we were not patient on this.” But they will soon know when they see the punishment who strayed from the path.
43 |
|
Do you see who has taken his desires as his god? Are you willing to take responsibility for him?
44 |
|
Do you consider that many of them listen or understand? They are no more like animals but are more strayed from the path.
45 |
|
Do you not see how your Rabb extends the shadows? If He wanted, He could have made it stand still. And We made the sun on it as proof. (If the earth's rotation is slowed, we could face the continuous sun on one side and no change in the length of shadows).
46 |
|
Then We constrict (shadow) towards Us gradually, an easy contraction.
47 |
|
He is the One Who made the night a cover for you to sleep and rest; (darkness and lower temperatures at night cause you to sleep better) and made the day for rising.
48 |
|
He is the One Who sends the wind as good news in front of His Mercy, and We send down clean (fresh) water from the sky.
49 |
|
For Us to give life to the dead city, We provide this (water), a drink to many animals and humankind, whom We have created,
50 |
|
We have cause-to-flow (distributed, rainfall) among them so that they may remember. But most of the people refused, except as to be disbelievers.
51 |
|
If We wanted, We would have raised a warner in every village (town).
52 |
|
So, do not follow the ungrateful and strive with them with great effort.
53 |
|
And He (is the One) who jumbles these large bodies of water; this one sweet and pleasant to drink, and this one salty and bitter to swallow; and He made between them an obstruction to restrict containment. [(Note: There is a density difference that initially causes salt water and fresh to layer. That means that after layering, the freshwater must diffuse into the salt water, taking time to do so. Eventually, they equalize. Mixing would be faster, but diffusion is the only means because of layering due to density difference. Agitation and stirring would equalize faster if that were the desired result.REF-quora.com)].
54 |
|
He is the One Who created human beings from water. Then He made for him relatives (descendants) and in-laws. And Your Rabb is Powerful. [(NOTE: From a biological standpoint, water has many distinct properties that are critical for the proliferation of life. It carries out this role by allowing organic compounds to react in ways that ultimately allow replication. All known forms of life depend on water. Water is vital both as a solvent in which many of the body's solutes dissolve and as an essential part of many metabolic processes within the body. Metabolism is the sum total of anabolism and catabolism. In anabolism, water is removed from molecules (through energy requiring enzymatic chemical reactions) in order to grow larger molecules (e.g., starches, triglycerides, and proteins for storage of fuels and information). In catabolism, water is used to break bonds in order to generate smaller molecules (e.g., glucose, fatty acids, and amino acids to be used for fuels for energy use or other purposes). Without water, these particular metabolic processes could not exist REF Wikipedia)].

Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran.
