|
Then, do not let him prevent you from it (believing); who does not believe in this and follow his desires? Otherwise, you will be turned away (from forgiveness).
17 |

|
He said, "This is my staff. I lean on it and drive my sheep, and I have other purposes." [Note. 19 |

And make my matters easy for me.
27 |
|
And untie the knot from my tongue
28 |
|
They understand my words.

And join him in my matters.
33 |

Allah said, “Your request is granted (concluded), O Musa,(You are granted what you asked, O Musa).
37 |

|
When We inspired your mother with inspiration.
39 |
|
To drop him in the box, drop it (the box) in the sea; then the sea will cast him at the coast where my enemy and his enemy will pick (take) him. And I put my love in you to build (raise) you under My eyes.
40 |
|
When your sister walked and said, "Can I guide you to someone who can be responsible for him?". Then, We returned you to your mother so that her eyes will be delighted and not be sad. And you killed a person, but We rescued you from the distress, tested you, and subjected you to test. And you stayed in the city dwellers for years; then you came as ordained, O Musa. [(Note: The information of the previous history of Musa ('alaihis-salām) was provided to Mūsā ('alaihis-salām) where nobody else knew the details, for him to believe that Only Allah Knew Musa's background and the details)].
41 |
|
And I made (commissioned) you for myself.
42 |
|
Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be slow to remember Me.
43 |
|
Both of you Go to Firon. He is a tyrant.
44 |
|
Then both of you speak to him softly so that maybe he will remember or fear.”
45 |
|
They (Moses and Haroon) said, “O our Rabb, we fear that he will be excessive (in dealing) with us or that he will be violent.”
46 |
|
He said, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you, I hear and see."
47 |
,
|
Then they came to him and said, ‘We both are messengers of your Rabb, so send the Children of Israelites with us and do not torture them. Indeed, we came to you with signs from your Rabb, and peace be upon those who follow the guidance.
48 |
|
We are inspired that the punishment is upon those who lie intensely and turn away. (Intense lairs confirm only what they desire and ignore the facts that will contradict their desires.)
49 |
|
He (Firon) said, “Then who is your Rabb, O Musa?”
50 |
|
He (Musa) said, “Our Rabb is the One who has given everything its existence (creation), then guided it.”
51 |
|
He (Firon) said, “What will be the matter (decision) with the earlier associates (societies who were nonbelievers)?”
52 |
|
He (Musa) said, "Its knowledge is with my Rabb in a Book. My Rabb neither errs nor forgets".
53 |
|
He made the earth a cradle (resting place) for you, made paths in this for you, and sent down water from the sky; then We produced the pairs of dispersed plants from it.
54 |
|
Eat and graze your livestock. In these, there are signs for those with intelligence.
55 |
|
From this, We created you, and in this, We will return you, and from this, We will bring you out at another time.
56 |
|
And indeed, We showed him (Firon) all Our signs, but he denied and rejected.
57 |
|
(Firon) Said, “Did you come to us to expel us from our land with your magic? O, Musa?
58 |
|
We will bring you similar magic, so commit (to compete) between you and between us, which neither you nor we will break in an equal place.”
59 |
|
Musa said, “Commitment to you on a nice day (of decoration, day of the feast) so that the people will gather in daylight.”
60 |
|
Firon turned away, collected his conspiracy, and then came.
61 |
|
Musa said to them, “Woe to you. Do not fabricate a lie on Allah, or you will be given a forbidden punishment. Those who fabricate lies will fail.”
62 |
|
Then the matter was controversial among them, and they secretly whisper to each other.
63 |
|
They said, "These are two sorcerers who want to drive you out of your land with their magic." and destroy your exemplary way (of life).
64 |
|
So, gather your conspiracies, then come in a row, and whoever will rise above (win) will prosper on this day.”
65 |
|
They said, “O Musa, either you put down, or we will be first to put down.”
66 |
|
(Musa) said, “You put down.” And then, their ropes and sticks appeared to him from their magic as they were running.
67 |
|
So, Musa sensed fear in him.
68 |
|
We said, “Do not be afraid; you are the higher.
69 |
|
Now, put down what is in your right hand; it will snatch what they make. What they were making was no more than a conspiracy of magic (a sorcerer's plot). The magician will not succeed wherever he goes.
70 |
|
The magicians then submitted and bowed down. They said, “We believe in the Rabb of Haroon and Musa.”
71 |
|
(Firon) Said, “Did you believe in him before I permitted you? Indeed, he is the big (master magician) among you; he is the one who taught you the magic. I will cut your hands and legs from opposite sides, putting you on the cross from the shaft of a date palm tree. Then you will learn who is more severe in punishment and long-lasting.”
72 |
|
The magicians said, "We will never prefer you over what we have received as evidence from (Allah), Who created us. Therefore, decide whatever you (want to) decide, for your decisions (will only affect) this worldly life.
73 |
|
Indeed, we believe in our Rabb, so He may forgive us for our mistakes and what you have forced us to perform for the magic. Allah is Best and Everlasting.”
74 |
|
Whoever comes to his Rabb as a sinner, then for him is Hell, in which he neither dies nor lives.
75 |

But whoever came to Him as a believer and did the righteous deeds will have higher ranks.

The gardens of Eden, under which rivers flow, shall dwell therein forever; this is the reward of one who purifies himself (righteous).

And indeed, We inspired Musa: “Travel by night with My slaves, and for them strike a dry path in the sea, not to be feared of being overtaken, nor afraid (of passing through the sea).

Firon followed them with his soldiers, but they were overwhelmed by the ocean (and that is) what covered (drowned) them.

Firon misled his people and did not guide them.

O Children of Israel! We have saved you from your enemy, and We promised for a meeting with you at the right side of Mount Toor, and We sent down upon you consolation (comforts of life) and peace.

Eat from the good things We have provided for your sustenance but do not be excessive to justify my wrath. Whoever justifies my wrath has fallen into the abyss. |

And I forgive those who repent, believe, do the righteous deeds, and then remain rightly guided.

“And what has hasten you ahead of your people, O Musa?”
84 |
|
Musa said, "I hurried to you, my Rabb, so you would be pleased. They are following me."
85 |
|
(Allah) Said, “We have tested your nation after you and the Samri (entertainer in the evening) has misled them.”
86 |
|
So, Musa returned to his nation, angry and sad. He said, “O my nation, did your Rabb not promise you good things? Did those promises become too (tall) long? Or do you desire that the wrath of your Rabb is to be justified, so, then (why) did you break the promise with me?”
87 |
|
They said, “We did not break your promise with our sovereignty of will, but the ornaments of the nation burdened us, so we cast them (in the fire). That is what Samri dictated.”
88 |
|
Then he extracted a calf's body for them; it was mooing. And they said, "This is your god, and it is the god of Musa, but he (Musa) forgot."
89 |

Did they not see that it cannot respond to their words and has no power to harm or benefit them?
90 |

And indeed, Haroon said to them earlier, “O my nation; it is what you are being tested with. And your Rabb is the Merciful, so, follow me, and obey my command.”
91 |

They said, “We will not leave this place and will remain devoted until Musa returns to us.”
92 |

(Musa) said, “O Haroon, what prevented you when you saw they were misled on falsehood?
93 |

That you did not follow me? Did you disobey my instruction?”
94 |

He said, “O son of my mother, do not hold onto my beard or head. I feared that you would say, ‘You divided the Children of Israel and did not heed my word.’”
95 |

He said, “What is the matter with you, O Samri (entertainer)?”
96 |

He said, “I saw what they did not see, so I collected a handful from the impression (trace) of the Messenger, and then I threw it. This is how I answered (satisfied) to my soul.”
97 |
|
He said, Go away! In this life, it is for you to say, "Do not touch me." And for you, a promise (of punishment) that will never leave you. Now see your god that you remained devoted; we will burn it and scatter it in the sea as scattered particles."

Your Rabb is Allah; there is no deity except Him. He has encompassed all things in Knowledge.

On the Day, the Horn is blown; we will gather the sinful on that Blue Day. (World will be changed as a blue color for criminals).

They will say in an inaudible voice (fearful of speaking loudly) between them: “You have a stopover (lingered in the world) for only ten (days).”
104 |

We know what they say, and the best among them in conduct will say, (it is the same as) “You have lingered for a day.”
105 |

You will not see in it crookedness or a crease.

On that day, they will follow the caller without deviation (hesitation), the voices will be humbled to the Most Merciful, and you will not hear anything but a whisper.
109 |

On that Day, the intercession will not benefit except who is permitted by the Merciful and allows for his words (allows what to speak).
110 |

He Knows what is before and behind them, but they do not fully understand His Knowledge. (He Knows fully about their deeds).
111 |

Faces will be compelled (to submit) to Him, the Living, the Eternal. Whoever carried unjustness (deeds) will fail.

But whoever acted with righteousness and was a believer, then no fear of injustice or oppression.
113 |

This is how We sent down the Arabic Quran, and We circulated (repeated) in this the promise that maybe they will fear Allah, or as a warning to remember.
114 |

The Most Exalted Allah, the True Owner. And do not hasten with the Quran before its revelation is completed, and say, “My Rabb, increase my knowledge.”
115 |

And We entrusted to Adam before, but he forgot, and We did not find him with determination.
116 |
|
And when We said to the angels, “Bow down to Adam.” They bowed down, except Iblis; he refused.
117 |

We said, "O Adam, this is your and your wife's enemy, so let him not expel you both from the Garden, for then you will be in hardship.
118 |

In it, there is neither hunger nor uncovering for you.

|
You will not be thirsty in it or (heat of) forenoon (swelter in heat).”
120 |
|
But shaitan tempted him and said, “O Adam, can I guide you to the tree of eternity and land that will not decay?
121 |

And so, they ate from it, and their ill harm (private parts) began to appear suddenly, and they covered themselves from the leaves of the Garden. Adam disobeyed his Rabb and erred.
122 |

But then His Rabb answered him and forgave him, and guided him.
123 |

(Allah) Said, “Descend from here altogether; you are enemies to each other. But when My guidance comes to you, whoever follows My guidance will not lose their way or be in hardship.
124 |
|
But whoever opposed (raised objections, turns away) the remembrance will have a hard way of life. And We will gather him on the Day of Judgment as blind.”
125 |
|
He will say, “My Rabb, why did You gather me blind, though I had eyesight?”
126 |

Allah will say, “Just like when My verses-signs came to you, and you forgot them, today, just like that, you are forgotten.”
127 |
|
And like that, We punish those who exceed (boundaries) and do not believe in verses-signs of his Rabb. The punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and everlasting.
128 |

Is there no guidance for them (in the history of earlier nations)? How many dwellings did We destroy ages before them? They used to walk into their towns. These are signs for those with intelligence.
129 |

Had it not been for a word that had preceded from your Rabb, the inevitable would have happened, but there is a named appointed time.
130 |

Be patient about what they say, and glorify with praise to your Rabb before sunrise and before sunset. And during the night (all night long), praise Him in the edge of the daytime so you will be satisfied.
131 |

And do not extend your eyes, in what We have furnished to these parties as to the beauties of the world. This is Our test for them in it. Provisions of livelihood by your Rabb are best and everlasting.

And they say, "Why does he not come to us with signs from his Rabb?" Didn't the evidence (of signs) come to them in the earlier scriptures (books)?
134 |

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. This task would require a team of scholars to research the historical context and include the latest scientific proofs to explain the definitions and meanings backed by research references. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:
