|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. | ||
| 1 |
۞ الٓمٓ﴿1﴾ج |
|
| Alif Laam Meem | ||
| 2 |
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًۭى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ﴿2﴾لا |
رَابَ,
|
| This is the book; there is no doubt about it. It is guidance for devoted (God-fearing). | ||
| 3 |
ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ﴿3﴾لا |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Those who believe in the unseen (the invisible, Allah) establish prayers and spend from what We provide them (means of livelihood). (See Note-2-3) | ||
| 4 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ﴿4﴾ط |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| They believe in what We revealed to you, what We revealed before you, and they are certain of the hereafter. (Four (4) books are directly revealed from Allah Subhana Wa Taala. 1-The Tawrat was revealed to Prophet Musa Alaihis-Sallam, 2-The Zabur was revealed to Prophet Dawud Alaihis-Sallam, 3-The Injeel was revealed to Prophet Esa Alaihis-Sallam, 4-The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Sallal-Allahu Alaihi Wa-Sallam). | ||
| 5 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًۭى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ﴿5﴾ |
فًلَحَ,
|
| Their Rabb guides them to the right path (to the true religion), and they will succeed. | ||
| 6 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿6﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Indeed, for those who are ungrateful, it is equal to them (it is of no use); whether you warn them or you do not warn them, they will not believe. | ||
| 7 |
خَتَمَ ٱللّٰهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ ۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ غِشَٰوَةٌۭ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ﴿7﴾1ع |
خَتَمَ,
|
| Allah has put the stamp (seal) on their hearts and their hearings (listening) and a cover on their eyes; there will be a great punishment for them. | ||
| 8 |
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللّٰهِ وَبِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿8﴾م |
أَنِسَ,
|
| And from humankind who says we believe in Allah and the day of the hereafter, they are not believers. | ||
| 9 |
يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللّٰهَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ﴿9﴾ط |
خَدَعَ,
|
| They are deceiving (cheating) Allah and those who are believers, but (in reality) they are misleading themselves, and they do not realize it. | ||
| 10 |
فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ مَرَضًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ﴿10﴾ |
مَرِضَ,
|
| In their hearts is a sickness, and Allah has increased their disease; they will be in painful punishment because of their denials. | ||
| 11 |
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ﴿11﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| And when they are told not to spread corruption (not to make trouble) in the land, they say, "We are peacemakers." | ||
| 12 |
أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ﴿12﴾ |
شَعَرَ,
|
| Truly, (Oh Yes) they are the ones who are spreading corruption, but they do not realize it. | ||
| 13 |
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ ءَامِنُوا۟ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلنَّاسُ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿13﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And when they are told to believe as humankind believes, they say, “Should we believe as the foolish believe?” Are they not foolish? But they do not realize it. | ||
| 14 |
وَإِذَا لَقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ شَيَٰطِينِهِمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِءُونَ﴿14﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| And when they encounter those who believe, they say we are believers, but when they leave (believers and go) towards their shaitans, they say we are with you, and we were only ridiculing (we were only making fun of the believers). | ||
| 15 |
ٱللّٰهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ﴿15﴾ |
عَمِهَ,
|
| Allah is mocking them and granting them respite (prolonging) to wander (stray) in their tyranny. | ||
| 16 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ فَمَا رَبِحَت تِّجَٰرَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ﴿16﴾ |
هَدَى,
|
| Those are the ones who have bought falsehood instead of guidance. They will not benefit from their trade and are not guided. | ||
| 17 |
مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًۭا فَلَمَّآ أَضَآءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُۥ ذَهَبَ ٱللّٰهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِى ظُلُمَٰتٍۢ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ﴿17﴾ |
ضَلَّ,
|
| Their example is like the one who ignited a fire, and when it illuminated his surroundings, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness (so) they do not see (they are unable to see). | ||
| 18 |
صُمٌّۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْىٌۭ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ﴿18﴾لا |
رَجَعَ,
|
| Deaf, dumb (silent), blind, they will not return (they do not process any form of communication, so they will not understand). | ||
| 19 |
أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَٰتٌۭ وَرَعْدٌۭ وَبَرْقٌۭ يَجْعَلُونَ أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِم مِّنَ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ حَذَرَ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ مُحِيطٌۢ بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿19﴾ |
صَابَ,
|
| Or, like the rain falling from the sky in darkness, with thunder and lightning, they put their fingers in their ears from the danger of death by the lightning strike. Allah has surrounded the ungrateful. | ||
| 20 |
يَكَادُ ٱلْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَٰرَهُمْ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَضَآءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْا۟ فِيهِ وَإِذَآ أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَٰرِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ﴿20﴾2ع |
خَطِفَ,
|
| The lightning streak almost dazzles the eyes (the intensity of lightning temporarily obstructs vision). When it illuminates for them, they walk in it and stop when darkness falls over them. If Allah wanted, certainly He could have taken away their hearing and eyesight. Allah is indeed in control of everything. | ||
| 21 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ﴿21﴾لا |
خَلَقَ,
|
| O, Humankind, worship your Rabb, Who created you and those before you. To become devoted (God-fearing, dedicated). | ||
| 22 |
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فِرَٰشًۭا وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بِنَآءًۭ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًۭا لَّكُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلّٰهِ أَندَادًۭا وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿22﴾ |
فَرَشَ,
|
| He is the One Who made the earth a bed (spread out) for you, constructed the sky, and sent down water from the sky so that it bears its fruits for your sustenance (to benefit you). So, do not make (anything) equal for Allah while you know that. (Note: Allah has created the universe, so Allah creates everything we can see, so what we see must be different from Allah, and nothing we can see is equal to Allah). | ||
| 23 |
وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍۢ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍۢ مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿23﴾ |
رَابَ,
|
| And if you are in doubt over what We revealed to Our servant (Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) Peace be upon him), then bring a verse like this and call on your witnesses other than Allah, if you are truthful. | ||
| 24 |
فَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلُوا۟ وَلَن تَفْعَلُوا۟ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِى وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ ۖ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿24﴾ |
وَقَدَ,
|
| Then, if you do not, and indeed never will, fear the fire prepared for the nonbelievers, it is fuelled by humankind and stones. | ||
| 25 |
وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِن ثَمَرَةٍۢ رِّزْقًۭا ۙ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى رُزِقْنَا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَأُتُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُتَشَٰبِهًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌۭ مُّطَهَّرَةٌۭ ۖ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿25﴾ |
بَشِرَ,
|
| Give good news to those who believe and do righteous deeds, gardens with rivers flowing beneath them. Each time they are given food there, they will say, this is what we were given before, and they were also given similar food. Their mates are pure (clean) and will remain there forever. | ||
| 26 |
۞ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ لَا يَسْتَحْىِۦٓ أَن يَضْرِبَ مَثَلًۭا مَّا بَعُوضَةًۭ فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللّٰهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًۭا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهِۦ كَثِيرًۭا وَيَهْدِى بِهِۦ كَثِيرًۭا ۚ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ﴿26﴾لا |
كَفَرَ,
|
| Indeed, Allah does not shy away from using an example of a mosquito (or) something above that. Those who believe in Allah know that is the truth from their Rabb, while those who do not believe ask (question) what Allah intends to convey through this example. He lets many get misguided and guides many, but He allows only the sinners to be misguided (go astray). | ||
| 27 |
ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللّٰهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللّٰهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ﴿27﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| Those who break (violate) the promise to Allah after making an agreement and cutting off what Allah instructed to join (bond, establish a relationship) and spread corruption in the land are losers. | ||
| 28 |
كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِٱللّٰهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَٰتًۭا فَأَحْيَٰكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ﴿28﴾ |
حي,
|
| How could you disbelieve in Allah (be ungrateful to Him)? When you were dead, He gave you life, and then He will cause you to die, then resurrect you, and then to Him, you will return. | ||
| 29 |
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍۢ ۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿29﴾3ع |
خَلَقَ,
|
| He is the One Who created whatever is on earth, all assembled for you, then straightened the sky, arranged (settled, smoothed, proportionated) seven skies, and He is the One Who Has Knowledge of Everything. | ||
| 30 |
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى جَاعِلٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿30﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| And when your Rabb said to the angels that I am putting my representative on earth, they said are You going to make (representative) one who will spread mischief in it and shed the blood, while we glorify You with Your praise, (worship) Your Holiness. He said; indeed, I Know What you do not know. | ||
| 31 |
وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿31﴾ |
عَرُضَ,
|
| And He taught Adam all the names, and then He presented those to the angels, and then He said, inform Me with the names of these if you are truthful. | ||
| 32 |
قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ﴿32﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| They said praise to you; we do not know except what You have taught us; indeed, You are the All-Knowing, the Wisest. | ||
| 33 |
قَالَ يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ أَنۢبِئْهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَنۢبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ﴿33﴾ |
نَبَأَ,
|
| He said, O Adam, inform them with their names, and then when he informed them with their names, Allah said, Did I not tell you that indeed I Know secrets of the universe and the earth, and I Know what you show and what you hide. | ||
| 34 |
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿34﴾ |
سَجَدَ,
|
| And when We told the angels to bow down for Adam, they bowed down, except Iblis, who refused, became arrogant, and was ungrateful. | ||
| 35 |
وَقُلْنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿35﴾ |
سَكَنَ,
|
| And We told Adam, "You and your wife live in the paradise, and eat from it, comfortably, wherever you please, and don't get close to this tree. If you do, you will be among the unjust". | ||
| 36 |
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّۭ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّۭ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ﴿36﴾ |
ذَلَّ,
|
| Then shaitan subdued them, and he had them removed from where they used to be, and We said to them to descend, you are enemies to each other, and for you, the earth is your dwelling and enjoyment for some time. | ||
| 37 |
فَتَلَقَّىٰٓ ءَادَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ كَلِمَٰتٍۢ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿37﴾ |
تَا بَ,
|
| Then Adam received (learned) words from his Rabb and He accepted his repentance. He is the One Who accepts the repentance, The Most Merciful. | ||
| 38 |
قُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ مِنْهَا جَمِيعًۭا ۖ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدًۭى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدَاىَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ﴿38﴾ |
هَدَى,
|
| We said to descend from here altogether, then when guidance will come to you from Me, whoever will follow My guidance will have no fear, nor will they grieve. | ||
| 39 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿39﴾4ع |
خَلَدَ,
|
| And those who are ungrateful and deny Our signs (and verses) are the companions of the fire, and they will remain there forever. | ||
| 40 |
يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَوْفُوا۟ بِعَهْدِىٓ أُوفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْ وَإِيَّٰىَ فَٱرْهَبُونِ﴿40﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| O children of Israel, remember My blessings, that I have provided you the comforts of life, and you shall fulfill your promise to Me. I will meet My pledge to you and fear only Me. | ||
| 41 |
وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلَا تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍۭ بِهِۦ ۖ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِى ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا وَإِيَّٰىَ فَٱتَّقُونِ﴿41﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| And believe in what I have sent down (Al-Quran-revealed), testifying (confirming) what is with you (Torah / Bible), and do not be the first to be ungrateful to this, and do not trade My verses for a small price. You shall be devoted only to Me (Become God-fearing to Me Alone). | ||
| 42 |
وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا۟ ٱلْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿42﴾ |
كَتَمَ,
|
| And do not obscure the truth with falsehood, and do not hide the truth when you know. | ||
| 43 |
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱرْكَعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلرَّٰكِعِينَ﴿43﴾ |
صلو,
|
| And establish the prayers, give charity, and bow down (kneel) in prayer (worship) with those bowing down in prayer (kneeling in prayer with those kneeling indicates prayers are to be offered in congregation). | ||
| 44 |
۞ أَتَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ﴿44﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| Do you instruct humankind to be pious (righteous) and forget yourself while you recite the book? Do you not understand? | ||
| 45 |
وَٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ﴿45﴾لا |
كَبَرَ,
|
| And ask for help with patience and prayers; indeed, it becomes too difficult, except for those who are submissive. | ||
| 46 |
ٱلَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ﴿46﴾5ع |
ظَنَّ,
|
| Those who believe that they will meet their Rabb and that they will be returning towards Him. | ||
| 47 |
يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّى فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿47﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| O children of Israel! Remember My favors I bestowed on you and that I preferred you over the world. | ||
| 48 |
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ وَلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ﴿48﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| Fear the day when there will be no compensation for one soul against another soul on anything; no mediation will be accepted, nothing will be taken as exchange (to forgive sins), and no help for them. | ||
| 49 |
وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌۭ﴿49﴾ |
نَجَا,
|
| And when We rescued you from the family of the Pharaoh, they used to harm you with the punishment, and they used to slaughter your sons and let live your women, and this was a great test for you from your Rabb. | ||
| 50 |
وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ ٱلْبَحْرَ فَأَنجَيْنَٰكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ﴿50﴾ |
فَرَقَ,
|
| We separated the sea for you, then rescued you and drowned the family of Pharaoh as you watched. | ||
| 51 |
وَإِذْ وَٰعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰٓ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةًۭ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ﴿51﴾ |
لَيْل,
|
| And when We appointed Moses for forty nights, you took hold the calf after him (in his absence), and you were unjust. | ||
| 52 |
ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ﴿52﴾ |
شَكَرَ,
|
| Then We forgave you after that so that you may become thankful. | ||
| 53 |
وَإِذْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ﴿53﴾ |
أَثَرَ,
|
| And when We granted the book and the proof (evidence, distinction of right and wrong), so you may be guided. | ||
| 54 |
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنفُسَكُم بِٱتِّخَاذِكُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ فَتُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ بَارِئِكُمْ فَٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ عِندَ بَارِئِكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿54﴾ |
تَا بَ,
|
| When Moses told His nation that indeed you were unjust to yourself with taking hold of the calf (to worship), repent to your Creator and then kill (those cow worshippers) yourselves. That is better for you with your Creator. Since He is the Most Merciful, He accepted your repentance from you. | ||
| 55 |
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى ٱللّٰهَ جَهْرَةًۭ فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ﴿55﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| When you told Moses, 'We will not believe in you until we see Allah openly,' a thunderbolt struck you as you looked. | ||
| 56 |
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَٰكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ﴿56﴾ |
شَكَرَ,
|
| Then We revived you after your death, so you might be thankful for it. | ||
| 57 |
وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْغَمَامَ وَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ ۖ كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ ۖ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ﴿57﴾ |
رَدَفَ,
|
| And We provided shades to you by the cover of the clouds and sent you manna and quails. Eat from the purified, clean provisions that We have provided you. And they did not wrong Us, but they did injustice to themselves. | ||
| 58 |
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا ٱدْخُلُوا۟ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَدًۭا وَٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْبَابَ سُجَّدًۭا وَقُولُوا۟ حِطَّةٌۭ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَٰيَٰكُمْ ۚ وَسَنَزِيدُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿58﴾ |
رَغُدَ,
|
| And when We said to enter in this town and eat from wherever you desire and enter (come to) the doors bowing down and say (we are) degraded (ask for Pardon)! We will forgive you for your sins and increase (reward for) the good-doers. | ||
| 59 |
فَبَدَّلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ قَوْلًا غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنزَلْنَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رِجْزًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ﴿59﴾6ع |
ظَلَمَ,
|
| Then the unjust changed the words from what was told to them; then We sent down punishment from the sky on those who did injustice because they acted immorally. | ||
| 60 |
۞ وَإِذِ ٱسْتَسْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْحَجَرَ ۖ فَٱنفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ ٱثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًۭا ۖ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ أُنَاسٍۢ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۖ كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِ ٱللّٰهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ﴿60﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| And when Moses asked for water for his nation, We told (him) to strike the rock with your cane, and then twelve springs of water suddenly flowed from the rock, and everyone knew where to (get) their drinks. (Remember) Allah provides food and water. Do not engage in wickedness spreading corruption on the earth." | ||
| 61 |
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَٰمُوسَىٰ لَن نَّصْبِرَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامٍۢ وَٰحِدٍۢ فَٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنۢ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّآئِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا ۖ قَالَ أَتَسْتَبْدِلُونَ ٱلَّذِى هُوَ أَدْنَىٰ بِٱلَّذِى هُوَ خَيْرٌ ۚ ٱهْبِطُوا۟ مِصْرًۭا فَإِنَّ لَكُم مَّا سَأَلْتُمْ ۗ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلذِّلَّةُ وَٱلْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللّٰهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا۟ وَّكَانُوا۟ يَعْتَدُونَ﴿61﴾7ع |
هَبَطَ,
|
| And when you told, O Moses we will never be patient with one (kind of) meal, call your Rabb to (give us) from produce by the cultivation of the earth for us, from its herbs, its cucumbers, its garlic, its lentils, and its onions. He said, " Do you ask to change with that which is lower than that (what you have) which is better? Go down to Egypt, and for you what you asked for. Humiliation and misery were imposed on them. They received wrath from Allah because they were ungrateful for Allah's signs (and verses). They were killing the prophets without justification because they were disobedient and transgressive. Note (Their request for different food indicates a preference towards earthly pleasures rather than the propagation of Allah's teachings). | ||
| 62 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ وَٱلصَّٰبِـِٔينَ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللّٰهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ﴿62﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Indeed those who believed, the Jews (Yehudi's), the Nasara (Christians), and the Sabeans who believed in Allah and the day of the hereafter and did good deeds, then the reward for them is with their Rabb, and they will have no fear, and they will not grieve. | ||
| 63 |
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ﴿63﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| When We took your oath and raised the mount Tour on you, keep what We give you with power (energy) and remember what is in this (means) for you, and perhaps you might become devout (God-fearing). | ||
| 64 |
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ﴿64﴾ |
خَسِرَ,
|
| Then you turned back after that; if it were not for the Kindness of Allah on you and His Mercy, you would have been among the losers. | ||
| 65 |
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱعْتَدَوْا۟ مِنكُمْ فِى ٱلسَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُوا۟ قِرَدَةً خَٰسِـِٔينَ﴿65﴾ج |
عَدَا,
|
| Indeed, you know those who exceeded among you on the Sabbath, and We told them to be reduced, to become monkeys. | ||
| 66 |
فَجَعَلْنَٰهَا نَكَٰلًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةًۭ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ﴿66﴾ |
نَكَلَ,
|
| So We made this an example for what was before and what came after this, and as a warning for the God-fearing. | ||
| 67 |
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تَذْبَحُوا۟ بَقَرَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُوًۭا ۖ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِٱللّٰهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ﴿67﴾ |
بَقَرَ,
|
| And when Moses told his nation that Allah is instructing you to slaughter a cow, they said are you joking with us? He said, "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant." | ||
| 68 |
قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِىَ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌۭ لَّا فَارِضٌۭ وَلَا بِكْرٌ عَوَانٌۢ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَٱفْعَلُوا۟ مَا تُؤْمَرُونَ﴿68﴾ |
بَقَرَ,
|
| They said to call your Rabb to make it clear for us what it is; he (Musa) said, indeed, He says it is a cow that is not old, not young, but middle age, so act on what you are instructed. | ||
| 69 |
قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌۭ صَفْرَآءُ فَاقِعٌۭ لَّوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ ٱلنَّٰظِرِينَ﴿69﴾ |
بَقَرَ,
|
| They said to call for us to clarify what color it is (of the cow), and he (Musa) said; indeed, He says it is a yellow cow, a bright yellow color and pleasant for those looking. | ||
| 70 |
قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِىَ إِنَّ ٱلْبَقَرَ تَشَٰبَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّآ إِن شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ﴿70﴾ |
شِاءَ,
|
| They said, “Call on your Rabb for us to explain to us what it is. Indeed, the cows are similar to us.” And indeed, Allah willing, we will be guided. | ||
| 71 |
قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌۭ لَّا ذَلُولٌۭ تُثِيرُ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَا تَسْقِى ٱلْحَرْثَ مُسَلَّمَةٌۭ لَّا شِيَةَ فِيهَا ۚ قَالُوا۟ ٱلْـَٰٔنَ جِئْتَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ﴿71﴾8ع |
بَقَرَ,
|
| He (Moses) said, indeed He (ALLAH) says that it is a cow that is not docile to irrigate (trained to plow) the earth and does not water (runs the water wheel) for cultivation, wholesome (sound), not embroidered (not decorated with paint). They said now you have come with the truth, then they slaughtered it, and they were almost not going to do it. | ||
| 72 |
وَإِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًۭا فَادَّارَأْتُمْ فِيهَا ۖ وَٱللّٰهُ مُخْرِجٌۭ مَّا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ﴿72﴾ج |
كَتَمَ,
|
| And when you killed a soul and were going around (cheating to avoid doing justice) in it, Allah was bringing out what you were hiding. | ||
| 73 |
فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُحْىِ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ﴿73﴾ |
بَعَضَ,
|
| Then We told to strike it (the dead body) with some of its parts. This is how Allah gives life to the dead and shows you His signs that perhaps you may understand. | ||
| 74 |
ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوبُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَهِىَ كَٱلْحِجَارَةِ أَوْ أَشَدُّ قَسْوَةًۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ ٱلْمَآءُ ۚ وَإِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللّٰهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ﴿74﴾ |
هَبَطَ,
|
| Then your hearts become hard after that, like stones or even harder. Indeed when the stones split, the rivers flow out from them, and indeed, when it splits, the water flows out from them, and indeed, it falls from the fear of Allah, and Allah is not unaware of your actions. | ||
| 75 |
۞ أَفَتَطْمَعُونَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ كَلَٰمَ ٱللّٰهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُونَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿75﴾ |
طَمِعَ,
|
| Do you expect they will believe you when a group of them listen to Allah's words and later alter them after they understand and know it? | ||
| 76 |
وَإِذَا لَقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِۦ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ﴿76﴾ |
بَعَضَ,
|
| And when they meet those who believe, they say we believe. When they leave (and meet) each other, they say (We should not) tell them (believers) about what Allah has disclosed to you (that Torah has predicted and confirmed Messenger, Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) Peace be upon him) then they (believers) can argue this (information) with your Rabb. Do you not understand? (that nonbelievers already know but deny the Messenger, Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) Peace be upon him). | ||
| 77 |
أَوَلَا يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ﴿77﴾ |
سَرَّ,
|
| Do they not know that Allah Knows what they hide (conceal) and what they reveal (declare)? | ||
| 78 |
وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّآ أَمَانِىَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ﴿78﴾ |
ظَنَّ,
|
| And among them are illiterates who do not learn from the book, except what they desire, and only speculate (guess). | ||
| 79 |
فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عِندِ ٱللّٰهِ لِيَشْتَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا ۖ فَوَيْلٌۭ لَّهُم مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌۭ لَّهُم مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ﴿79﴾ |
كَتَبَ,
|
| Then disaster for those who write the book with their own hands and then say this is from Allah, to trade it at a low price. Then, a disaster for them (due) to what their hands have written, and it is a failure for them (because) of what they have earned. | ||
| 80 |
وَقَالُوا۟ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامًۭا مَّعْدُودَةًۭ ۚ قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ عَهْدًۭا فَلَن يُخْلِفَ ٱللّٰهُ عَهْدَهُۥٓ ۖ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿80﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And they say the fire will not touch us except for a few days, say, have you taken a promise from Allah, that He would never go back from His promise, or do you say, on Allah, what you do not know. | ||
| 81 |
بَلَىٰ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةًۭ وَأَحَٰطَتْ بِهِۦ خَطِيٓـَٔتُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿81﴾ |
خَلَدَ,
|
| Yes, whoever earns evil and is surrounded by his sins is the companion of the fire and will live there forever. | ||
| 82 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿82﴾9ع |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| And those who believe and do righteous deeds are companions of paradise and will live there forever. | ||
| 83 |
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهَ وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًۭا وَذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَقُولُوا۟ لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًۭا وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنكُمْ وَأَنتُم مُّعْرِضُونَ﴿83﴾ |
قَلَبَ,
|
| And when We took oath from the children of Israel, (that) you would not worship anyone else except Allah and be graceful to parents, those near (relatives), the orphans, and the poor, and they will talk to the humankind in goodness, and they will establish prayer, and they will pay charity. Then you turned your back, except for a few of you, and raised objections. | ||
| 84 |
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ﴿84﴾ |
دَارَ,
|
| And when We took your oath that you will not shed your blood and you will not deport your own from your homes, you confirmed it and became witnesses. | ||
| 85 |
ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَرِيقًۭا مِّنكُم مِّن دِيَٰرِهِمْ تَظَٰهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِم بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَإِن يَأْتُوكُمْ أُسَٰرَىٰ تُفَٰدُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ إِخْرَاجُهُمْ ۚ أَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍۢ ۚ فَمَا جَزَآءُ مَن يَفْعَلُ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ إِلَّا خِزْىٌۭ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَشَدِّ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللّٰهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ﴿85﴾ |
بَعَضَ,
|
| Then you are those who kill among yourselves, deport a group among yourselves from their homes, and support one another with sins and transgressions. And if they come to you as prisoners, you ask for ransom while it is prohibited for you to deport them. Do you believe part of the book and deny part? Then what is the reward for those who do that among you except disgrace in this life of this world? And on the day of the standing (final judgment), you will be returned to more severe punishment, and Allah is not unaware of what you do. | ||
| 86 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ﴿86﴾10ع |
شَرَى,
|
| Those are the ones who bought the world's life instead of the hereafter, and their punishment will not be reduced, and they will not be assisted. | ||
| 87 |
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ بِٱلرُّسُلِ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَا عِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَيَّدْنَٰهُ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ ۗ أَفَكُلَّمَا جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌۢ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَىٰٓ أَنفُسُكُمُ ٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ فَفَرِيقًۭا كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَرِيقًۭا تَقْتُلُونَ﴿87﴾ |
قَتَلَ,
|
| And indeed, We gave Moses the book, and then We sent Messengers following (after) him. We gave Isa, son of Maryam, clear evidence (Isa p.b.u.h, was given miracles, 1 Created Isa, a man without a father, 2-Spoke when he was an infant, 3- Breath life into clay bird by God’s permission, 4- Cured the blind and the leper, 5- Gave life to the dead by God’s permission, 6- Knew hidden storages, 7-sent heavenly food table). We helped him with the Holy Spirit. (Holy Spirit may refer to Revelations or to Angel Gabriel, who brought Revelation to the Prophets, or to the Holy Soul of Jesus Christ which Allah had created pure), Then every Messenger who came to you who was not (preaching) according to your desires, you became arrogant (you stubbornly opposed the Messengers, and you deemed yourself too important to follow the Messengers), then a group (of Messengers) that you denied and a group (of Messengers) that you killed. | ||
| 88 |
وَقَالُوا۟ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌۢ ۚ بَل لَّعَنَهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيلًۭا مَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿88﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| And they say our hearts are covered, but Allah has cursed them because of their ungratefulness, and so, few are those who are believers (or they believe in a little portion).NOTE. The inner self of believing I am better and I already know it all creates a cover in mind to block the truth. Cover of Self-pride that I know better and know it all is used to block processing the information which conflicts with their untrue-believes. Allah created all human beings as equals. Allah created humans to worship ONLY Allah, the Creator. | ||
| 89 |
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ كِتَٰبٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مَّا عَرَفُوا۟ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ فَلَعْنَةُ ٱللّٰهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿89﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| And when a book came to them from Allah, testifying what was with them, and before, they were asking for victory over non-believers, but when it (the Book Al Quran) came, and they recognized it, they did not believe in it. Allah cursed the ungrateful. (some of the Jews thought they were superior and prophets should only come from within their race). | ||
| 90 |
بِئْسَمَا ٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ أَن يَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللّٰهُ بَغْيًا أَن يُنَزِّلَ ٱللّٰهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ فَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ عَلَىٰ غَضَبٍۢ ۚ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌۭ مُّهِينٌۭ﴿90﴾ |
شَرَى,
|
| Misery is what they purchase for themselves, being ungrateful with what Allah has sent down, to unjustly treat what Allah has sent down from His grace on whom He wants among His worshippers. Then they received anger upon anger, and for the ungrateful is a degrading punishment. | ||
| 91 |
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللّٰهُ قَالُوا۟ نُؤْمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَكْفُرُونَ بِمَا وَرَآءَهُۥ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ فَلِمَ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنۢبِيَآءَ ٱللّٰهِ مِن قَبْلُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ﴿91﴾ |
نَزَلَ,
|
| When it is told to them to believe what Allah has revealed, they say, we believe what has been sent down on us, and they do not believe what is behind (follows) it, although it is the truth confirming what is with them. Say, then why did you kill Prophets of Allah before if you were the believers? (Now you are arguing that you believed in what was sent earlier, but you killed those Prophets of Allah, and you did not believe them, so, you did not believe before, and not believing now. You never wanted to believe in Allah, and His messenger- Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) Peace be upon him, and Teachings of His Prophets). | ||
| 92 |
۞ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ﴿92﴾ |
بَا نَ,
|
| Indeed, Moses came to you with clear evidence, but you held the calf (to worship) after him, and you were unjust. | ||
| 93 |
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ ۖ قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَأُشْرِبُوا۟ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَأْمُرُكُم بِهِۦٓ إِيمَٰنُكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ﴿93﴾ |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| And when We took your oath, and We raised the mountain above you, hold strongly what We gave to you, and listen (pay attention), they said, we heard, and we will disobey, and their hearts became full with love of the calf due to their ungratefulness. Say misery is what instructs your beliefs if you are a believer in that (if that is what you call belief, then that kind of belief will result in destruction). | ||
| 94 |
قُلْ إِن كَانَتْ لَكُمُ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ خَالِصَةًۭ مِّن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا۟ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿94﴾ |
دَارَ,
|
| Say, if the home of the hereafter with Allah has only been for you and no other humankind, then wish (desire) death if you are truthful. | ||
| 95 |
وَلَن يَتَمَنَّوْهُ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿95﴾ |
يَدَيَ,
|
| And they will never desire that because of what they have forwarded with their hands, And Allah Knows the unjust. | ||
| 96 |
وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٍۢ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ ۚ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍۢ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ﴿96﴾11ع |
عَمِلَ,
|
| And you indeed will find them, more desiring than other humankind for life, and those who make partners (with ALLAH). Every one of them wishes he could live to an age of a thousand years, but he will not be removed from the punishment, even with long life, and Allah is All-Seer of what they do. | ||
| 97 |
قُلْ مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّۭا لِّجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُۥ نَزَّلَهُۥ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقًۭا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَهُدًۭى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿97﴾ |
هَدَى,
|
| Say, "If anyone is an enemy to Gabriel, then that is because he has brought down the (revelation) to your heart by Allah's permission - confirming all that was before him and giving guidance and good news to the believers." | ||
| 98 |
مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّۭا لِّلّٰهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَجِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَىٰلَ فَإِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَدُوٌّۭ لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿98﴾ |
رَسِلَ,
|
| Whoever is the enemy of Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, Jibreel, and Mikhail, then Allah is the enemy to the nonbelievers. | ||
| 99 |
وَلَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ءَايَٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ ۖ وَمَا يَكْفُرُ بِهَآ إِلَّا ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ﴿99﴾ |
بَا نَ,
|
| And indeed, We have sent down to you signs (verses) with indisputable evidence, and those who do not believe in this are immoral. | ||
| 100 |
أَوَكُلَّمَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ عَهْدًۭا نَّبَذَهُۥ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُم ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿100﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| And every time they make a promise by taking an oath, a group of them throws it away, but many among them are not believers. | ||
| 101 |
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقٌۭ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللّٰهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴿101﴾ز |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And when a messenger came to them from Allah, testifying what was with them, a group of those who were given the book threw away the book of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know. | ||
| 102 |
وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَا تَتْلُوا۟ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَٰنُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحْرَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَٰرُوتَ وَمَٰرُوتَ ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌۭ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيْنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا۟ لَمَنِ ٱشْتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٰقٍۢ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿102﴾ |
نَزَلَ,
|
| And they followed what the shaitans read, in the kingdom of Solomon, and Solomon did not do injustice, but the shaitans were doing the injustice. They used to teach the people magic (sorcery, witchcraft) and what was sent down with the two angels of Babel, (named) haroot and maroot. And they did not teach anyone until they (both) said that we are a seduction, so do not become unjust. They taught them how to cause (create) separation between the husband and his wife, and they were not hurting anyone except with the permission of Allah. And they learned what hurt them and did not benefit them, and indeed they knew that whoever bought it, nothing worthy would be for him in the hereafter. And misery is what they purchased for themselves if only they had realized (known). | ||
| 103 |
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَمَثُوبَةٌۭ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللّٰهِ خَيْرٌۭ ۖ لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿103﴾12ع |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| And if they believed and had been devoted (God-fearing), they would have the best reward near Allah if they knew. | ||
| 104 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَقُولُوا۟ رَٰعِنَا وَقُولُوا۟ ٱنظُرْنَا وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ ۗ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ﴿104﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you, those who believe, do not say (to Prophet) careless things. Say respectful things (ask for attention), and listen. And for the ungrateful, a painful punishment. | ||
| 105 |
مَّا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَلَا ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿105﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| It is not loved by those who are ungrateful among the people of the book, and those who make partners, that (what is) the best is sent (only) on you (Al-Quran sent down on you and not on them ) from your Rabb. But Allah specifies His Mercy on whom He Wants (Allah Chooses whom to send Al-Quran, and it is not for them to decide.) Allah is the One with the Greatest Generosity. | ||
| 106 |
۞ مَا نَنسَخْ مِنْ ءَايَةٍ أَوْ نُنسِهَا نَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍۢ مِّنْهَآ أَوْ مِثْلِهَآ ۗ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ﴿106﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| What We cancel from the verses, or We make it to forget, We bring a better from that or similar, do you not know that Allah controls Everything? | ||
| 107 |
أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ﴿107﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Do you not know that for Allah is the Kingdom of the universe and the earth, and there is no other supporter or helper for you other than Allah? | ||
| 108 |
أَمْ تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَسْـَٔلُوا۟ رَسُولَكُمْ كَمَا سُئِلَ مُوسَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ ۗ وَمَن يَتَبَدَّلِ ٱلْكُفْرَ بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ﴿108﴾ |
ضَلَّ,
|
| Do you like to question your messenger like Musa was questioned before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has, indeed, strayed from the right path. | ||
| 109 |
وَدَّ كَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ إِيمَٰنِكُمْ كُفَّارًا حَسَدًۭا مِّنْ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ فَٱعْفُوا۟ وَٱصْفَحُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِىَ ٱللّٰهُ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ﴿109﴾ |
نَفُسَ,
|
| Many of the people of the book would love for you to turn you back, after your belief, to ungratefulness because of jealousy in them, after the truth has been made clear for them, so forgive and turn away from them until the instructions come from Allah. Indeed, Allah has Control of everything. | ||
| 110 |
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍۢ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ﴿110﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| And establish the prayers and pay the charity (that purifies); whatever you send forward to better yourselves, you will find that with Allah. Indeed, Allah is the All-Seer of what you do. | ||
| 111 |
وَقَالُوا۟ لَن يَدْخُلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مَن كَانَ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ ۗ تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ ۗ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿111﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And they say that none will enter paradise except who is Yehudi or Nasara. This is their wish. Say, bring your proof here if you are truthful. | ||
| 112 |
بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُۥ لِلّٰهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌۭ فَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ﴿112﴾13ع |
بَلَى,
|
| Yes, whoever submits his course towards Allah and does good deeds, then his reward is with his Rabb, and they will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. | ||
| 113 |
وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ لَيْسَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ لَيْسَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُمْ يَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱللّٰهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ﴿113﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And the Jews said the Christians are not based on anything, and the Christians said the Jews are not based on anything while they recited the book. The ignorant also said things similar to their words. Then Allah will decide the differences between them on the day of the standing. | ||
| 114 |
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللّٰهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسْمُهُۥ وَسَعَىٰ فِى خَرَابِهَآ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَآ إِلَّا خَآئِفِينَ ۚ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا خِزْىٌۭ وَلَهُمْ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌۭ﴿114﴾ |
دَخَلَ,
|
| And who is more unjust than who hinders mentioning His Name in Allah's mosques and attempts to destroy it? They should only enter there when they are afraid. For them, it is humiliation in this world, and for them is great punishment in the hereafter. | ||
| 115 |
وَلِلّٰهِ ٱلْمَشْرِقُ وَٱلْمَغْرِبُ ۚ فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا۟ فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿115﴾ |
شَرَقَ,
|
| And for Allah is the east and the west, wherever you turn, Allah is present there; Allah has the Vastest (Greatest) Knowledge. | ||
| 116 |
وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللّٰهُ وَلَدًۭا ۗ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ ۖ بَل لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥ قَٰنِتُونَ﴿116﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And they said Allah had taken a son, praise to Him, but for Him, whatever is in the universe and the earth and everyone is submissive to Him (Why does He even need a son, when He already owns everything and they are already under His Command, what is there to gain by having a son). | ||
| 117 |
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ﴿117﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| He originated the universe and the earth, and when He decrees (decides) a command, He says for it To Be Done, and it is Done (happens). | ||
| 118 |
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ لَوْلَا يُكَلِّمُنَا ٱللّٰهُ أَوْ تَأْتِينَآ ءَايَةٌۭ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۘ تَشَٰبَهَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يُوقِنُونَ﴿118﴾ |
يَقِنَ,
|
| And those who do not know why Allah has not spoken with us or sent signs (verses) to us. Similar (words) were expressed by those before them; their hearts (inner thoughts) were similar. Indeed, the signs (verses) have been made clear for the nation that believes. | ||
| 119 |
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ بَشِيرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿119﴾ |
سَأَلَ,
|
| Indeed, We have sent you with the true reality (rightly), an evangelist (Prophet Mohammad, ﷺ Peace Be Upon Him, bearer of good news), and a warner, and you will not be questioned about companions of hell. | ||
| 120 |
وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ ٱلْيَهُودُ وَلَا ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى ٱللّٰهِ هُوَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ ۗ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللّٰهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ﴿120﴾ؔ |
تَبِعَ,
|
| And the Jews and the Christians will never agree with you until you follow (join) their religious community. Say, indeed, guidance by Allah is the guidance, and if you follow their desires, after the knowledge has come to you, there will be nothing for you from Allah in support or help. | ||
| 121 |
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَتْلُونَهُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ﴿121﴾14ع |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Those to whom We have given the book recite it as true, appropriate recitation; they are believers in this, and those who are disbelievers of this are the losers. | ||
| 122 |
يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّى فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿122﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| O children of Israel, remember my favors that I have blessed you and preferred you over all the worlds (to become true believers). | ||
| 123 |
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ يَوْمًۭا لَّا تَجْزِى نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌۭ وَلَا تَنفَعُهَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ﴿123﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| And be fearful of a day when no soul will compensate another soul for anything, nothing will be accepted in exchange, mediation will not benefit them, and they will not be helped. (This Ayat informs us that even though we live in this world by interacting and helping each other, in the next life if you are a nonbeliever, there is nobody to interact with, assist, or get help. You will be alone with Allah, the Creator, and nothing else). | ||
| 124 |
۞ وَإِذِ ٱبْتَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَٰتٍۢ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّى جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًۭا ۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهْدِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿124﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| And when his Rabb tested Abraham with words, he completed them. (Allah) said; indeed, I will make you a leader for humankind. (Abraham) said, and from my offspring? (Allah) said, my promise is not available for the unjust.Note. This Ayat indicates that there is no superiority based on family lineage. | ||
| 125 |
وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًۭا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلًّۭى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ﴿125﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And when We made the house as a refuge (place to meet, return, reward) for humankind and (made) peaceful (place), and to hold the place of (where) Ibrahim (stood) for prayers. And We took a promise from Abraham and Ismail to keep my home clean for the pilgrims and those praying in seclusion, kneeling, and bowing down in prayers. | ||
| 126 |
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًۭا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللّٰهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلًۭا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ﴿126﴾ |
ثَمَرَ,
|
| And when Abraham said, O my Rabb, make this a peaceful city and provide a livelihood to its residents with benefits (fruits), among those who believe in Allah, and day of the hereafter. (Allah) said, and whoever is ungrateful, I will provide him a little enjoyment (necessities of life). Later, I will compel him into the punishment of fire and to a miserable return. | ||
| 127 |
وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ ٱلْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ﴿127﴾ |
سَمَعَ,
|
| And when Abraham was raising the foundation of the house and Ismail (they prayed, by asking), our Rabb, accept this from us; indeed, you are the Most Hearing, the Most Knowing. | ||
| 128 |
رَبَّنَا وَٱجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةًۭ مُّسْلِمَةًۭ لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿128﴾ |
تَا بَ,
|
| Our Rabb, and make us Muslims for you, leaders among our offspring, submissive to you. And lead us to a devoted life (show us how to live a life of dedication to You and places of sacrifice) and accept our repentance. You are The Most Forgiving, The Most Merciful. | ||
| 129 |
رَبَّنَا وَٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ﴿129﴾15ع |
تلو,
|
| Our Rabb, and raise a Messenger among them, who will recite your verses to them, teach them the Book and wisdom, and purify them. Indeed, you are the Most Powerful, the Wisest. (This is an indication of Messenger, Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ) Peace be upon him is from the progeny of Ismail Alaihis Salam). | ||
| 130 |
وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ إِلَّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ وَلَقَدِ ٱصْطَفَيْنَٰهُ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ﴿130﴾ |
أخر,
|
| And who would avoid the religion of Abraham except one who is a fool? And Indeed, We have chosen him (Abraham) in this world, and indeed, he will be among the righteous in the hereafter. | ||
| 131 |
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥٓ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿131﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| When his Rabb told him to submit, he said, I submitted to The Rabb of the universe. | ||
| 132 |
وَوَصَّىٰ بِهَآ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَٰبَنِىَّ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ﴿132﴾ط |
صَفَا,
|
| And Ibrahim advised his sons and Yaqoob, O my sons, indeed, Allah chose this religion for you, so do not die unless you are submitted (Muslims). | ||
| 133 |
أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَآءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنۢ بَعْدِى قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ ءَابَآئِكَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًۭا وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ﴿133﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Were you a witness when death arrived at Jacob when he said to his sons, who will you worship after me? They said, we will worship your God, and the God of your forefathers, Ibrahim, Ismail, and Ishaq; one God, and we are submitted (Muslims) to Him. | ||
| 134 |
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌۭ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿134﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| These are nations of bygone times; for them, what they earned, and for you, what you earned, And you will not be asked about what they did. | ||
| 135 |
وَقَالُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا۟ ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ حَنِيفًۭا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ﴿135﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And they said, become Jew or Christian, then you will be guided, but Ibrahim's religion is true belief, and he was not a polytheist. | ||
| 136 |
قُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللّٰهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ﴿136﴾ |
نَزَلَ,
|
| Say we believe in Allah and what is sent down to us and what was sent down to Ibrahim, and Ismail, and Ishaq, and Jacob, and Asbaat (offspring of Jacob); and what was given to Musa and Isa; and what was given to the prophets by their Rabb. We do not differentiate between any of them, and we are submitted Muslims for Him. | ||
| 137 |
فَإِنْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِمِثْلِ مَآ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ فَقَدِ ٱهْتَدَوا۟ ۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِى شِقَاقٍۢ ۖ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ﴿137﴾ط |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Then, if they similarly believe in what you believe, indeed, they are guided. And if they turn away, they are certainly separated. Then Allah is sufficient for you (to protect you) against them, and He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. | ||
| 138 |
صِبْغَةَ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللّٰهِ صِبْغَةًۭ ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ عَٰبِدُونَ﴿138﴾ |
حَسَنَ,
|
| Color of Allah (to adopt what Allah has given the natural goodness in the religion of Allah, Islam) and who is better than him who adopts the color of Allah (Who is better than Allah to follow, Who has given the innate goodness in Islam)? And we are worshippers to Him. | ||
| 139 |
قُلْ أَتُحَآجُّونَنَا فِى ٱللّٰهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَآ أَعْمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُخْلِصُونَ﴿139﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| Say, do you argue with us about Allah when He is our Rabb and your Rabb, and for us our deeds, and for you, your deeds, and we are among the faithful devotees for Him? | ||
| 140 |
أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا۟ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَٰرَىٰ ۗ قُلْ ءَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ ٱللّٰهُ ۗ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَٰدَةً عِندَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ وَمَا ٱللّٰهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ﴿140﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| Do you say Ibrahim, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and Asbbat (offspring of Jacob) have been Jews or Christians? Say, do you know better or Allah? And who is more unjust than he who conceals a testimony he has from Allah? Allah is not unaware of what you do. | ||
| 141 |
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌۭ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ﴿141﴾16ع |
عَمِلَ,
|
| These are nations of bygone times; for them, what they earned, and for you, what you earned, you will not be questioned about what they did. | ||
| 142 |
۞ سَيَقُولُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَا وَلَّىٰهُمْ عَن قِبْلَتِهِمُ ٱلَّتِى كَانُوا۟ عَلَيْهَا ۚ قُل لِّلّٰهِ ٱلْمَشْرِقُ وَٱلْمَغْرِبُ ۚ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ﴿142﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| The foolish (who cannot think logically) among humankind will say, what has turned them away from the direction (Jerusalem) that they used to be in? Say, for Allah is the East and the West. He guides whom He desires towards a straight path. | ||
| 143 |
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَٰكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَسَطًۭا لِّتَكُونُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيدًۭا ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا ٱلْقِبْلَةَ ٱلَّتِى كُنتَ عَلَيْهَآ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يَتَّبِعُ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِمَّن يَنقَلِبُ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ ۚ وَإِن كَانَتْ لَكَبِيرَةً إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللّٰهُ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللّٰهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَٰنَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ بِٱلنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿143﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And that is how We have made you the moderate nation, to be a witness on humankind, and the messenger is a witness on you. We only made (changed) the direction of prayer that you were once on, for Us to know who follows the messenger, (and) who turns back on his heel. It was a great (difficulty), except on those who Allah has guided, but Allah will not let your beliefs be lost, for indeed, with humankind, Allah is Compassionate and Merciful. | ||
| 144 |
قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۖ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةًۭ تَرْضَىٰهَا ۚ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۚ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُۥ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۗ وَمَا ٱللّٰهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ﴿144﴾ |
حَيْثُ,
|
| Indeed, We see you aiming your face to the sky, so we return your direction of prayer to satisfy you. So, turn your face in the direction of the Prohibited Masjid. And wherever you are, turn your face towards its direction. Indeed, those given the Book surely know that it is the truth from their Rabb, and Allah is not unaware of what they do. | ||
| 145 |
وَلَئِنْ أَتَيْتَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِكُلِّ ءَايَةٍۢ مَّا تَبِعُوا۟ قِبْلَتَكَ ۚ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِتَابِعٍۢ قِبْلَتَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا بَعْضُهُم بِتَابِعٍۢ قِبْلَةَ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۙ إِنَّكَ إِذًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿145﴾م |
بَعَضَ,
|
| And if you bring all the signs to those given the book, they will not follow your direction, and you are not to follow their direction of prayer, and they are not going to follow the direction of one another. And if you follow their desires after what came into your knowledge, you will be among the unjust. | ||
| 146 |
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًۭا مِّنْهُمْ لَيَكْتُمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿146﴾ؔ |
كَتَمَ,
|
| Those to whom We have given the book recognize this like they recognize their sons, but indeed, a group of them surely hides the truth while they know. | ||
| 147 |
ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ﴿147﴾17ع |
حَقَّ,
|
| The truth is from your Rabb, so do not be among the doubtful. | ||
| 148 |
وَلِكُلٍّۢ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا ۖ فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ ۚ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُوا۟ يَأْتِ بِكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ﴿148﴾ |
خَيرَ,
|
| And everyone has a direction in which he turns, so race to be better. Wherever you are, Allah will bring you all together, for Allah Controls everything. | ||
| 149 |
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۗ وَمَا ٱللّٰهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ﴿149﴾ |
وَجَهَ,
|
| And wherever you come from, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque. Indeed, that is the truth from your Rabb, and Allah is not inattentive about what you do. | ||
| 150 |
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۚ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُۥ لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَٱخْشَوْنِى وَلِأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِى عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ﴿150﴾لا ۛ |
وَجَهَ,
|
| And wherever you come from, turn your face to Sacred Mosque. And wherever you are, turn your faces in its direction so that humankind will not argue against you, except those who are unjust among them. So, do not be afraid of them and fear Me, I will complete my blessings on you, and you may be guided. | ||
| 151 |
كَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿151﴾ط ۛ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Like, We sent to you, a messenger from among you, he recites our Ayats to you, purifies you, teaches you the book and the wisdom, and teaches what you did not know. | ||
| 152 |
فَٱذْكُرُونِىٓ أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لِى وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ﴿152﴾18ع |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| Remember Me; I will remember you, be thankful to Me, and not be ungrateful. | ||
| 153 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ﴿153﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you, who believe! Ask for help with patience and praying. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. | ||
| 154 |
وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ أَمْوَٰتٌۢ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌۭ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ﴿154﴾ |
شَعَرَ,
|
| And do not say those who get killed in the path of Allah are dead, they are alive, but you do not realize it. | ||
| 155 |
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ﴿155﴾لا |
ثَمَرَ,
|
| And surely, We will test you with some fear and hunger, loss of wealth, lives, and benefits, and give good news to the patient. | ||
| 156 |
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۭ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ﴿156﴾ط |
قَالَ,
|
| When they incur misfortune (disaster, calamity), they say we belong to Allah and to Him; we will return. | ||
| 157 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَٰتٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ﴿157﴾ |
هَدَى,
|
| Those, on them, blessings from their Rabb and Mercy, and they are the guided. | ||
| 158 |
۞ إِنَّ ٱلصَّفَا وَٱلْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ فَمَنْ حَجَّ ٱلْبَيْتَ أَوِ ٱعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًۭا فَإِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ﴿158﴾ |
شَكَرَ,
|
| Indeed, the Safa (lineup, hills of Safa) and the Marwa (passing through, hills of Marwa, and Saii, running between them) are from the ceremonies of Allah. Whoever performs the Pilgrimage to the House or a minor pilgrimage, then there is no sin for him if he makes rounds between them (in addition to going around Kaaba). Whoever voluntarily did it is better; Allah is a Great Appreciator and All-Knowing. | ||
| 159 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَآ أَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلْهُدَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ۙ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّٰعِنُونَ﴿159﴾لا |
كَتَمَ,
|
| And those who hide what We revealed as clear evidence and guidance, after what We revealed in the book as clear proof for humankind, Allah curses them, and those who curse also curse them as well. | ||
| 160 |
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ وَبَيَّنُوا۟ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَأَنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿160﴾ |
تَا بَ,
|
| Except for those who repented, became more righteous, and declared the truth, I will accept their repentance. I am the Acceptor of the Repentance, the Most Merciful. | ||
| 161 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةُ ٱللّٰهِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ﴿161﴾ل |
كَفَرَ,
|
| Indeed, those who were ungrateful and died being ungrateful, on them, Allah, the angels, and humankind altogether put a curse. | ||
| 162 |
خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ﴿162﴾ |
عَذُبَ,
|
| They will live in it forever, the punishment will not be reduced, and they will not be granted respite or delay. | ||
| 163 |
وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ ۖ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ﴿163﴾19ع |
إِله,
|
| And your God is one God; there is no God except Him. He is The Most Merciful, The Most Compassionate. | ||
| 164 |
إِنَّ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلَّتِى تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللّٰهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٍۢ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍۢ وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ وَٱلسَّحَابِ ٱلْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ﴿164﴾ |
جَرَى,
|
| Indeed, in the creation of the universe and the earth, in the difference between night and day, in humankind getting benefits from the ships that run in the oceans, in water that Allah sends down from the sky, in the earth that gets life by it after its death, in every creature that He spreads out in this, in the turning of the wind and the clouds that have been subjugated between the sky and the earth; are signs for the people who know. | ||
| 165 |
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ أَندَادًۭا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَشَدُّ حُبًّۭا لِّلّٰهِ ۗ وَلَوْ يَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ أَنَّ ٱلْقُوَّةَ لِلّٰهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَأَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعَذَابِ﴿165﴾ |
نَدَّ,
|
| And from the humankind who holds others as equals to Allah, they love them like loving Allah, but those who believe, worship Allah more than anything. And If those unjust could see, when they see the punishment, that the power is for Allah all together and that Allah is Severe in punishment. | ||
| 166 |
إِذْ تَبَرَّأَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتُّبِعُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ وَرَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَسْبَابُ﴿166﴾ |
تَبِعَ,
|
| Those being followed will rid themselves of those who follow them and see the punishment, and then all relations (means) will be cut off from them. | ||
| 167 |
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةًۭ فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُوا۟ مِنَّا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ ٱللّٰهُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَمَا هُم بِخَٰرِجِينَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ﴿167﴾20ع |
نَار,
|
| And those who followed will say, if there were (another) round for us, we would rid them, as they have absolved from us. That is how Allah will show them their deeds as regrets (grieve) for them, and they will not come out of the fire. | ||
| 168 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ كُلُوا۟ مِمَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ حَلَٰلًۭا طَيِّبًۭا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌ﴿168﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| O you humankind, eat what is lawful and clean things from the earth and do not follow on the lines of shaitan; indeed, he is clearly an enemy to you. | ||
| 169 |
إِنَّمَا يَأْمُرُكُم بِٱلسُّوٓءِ وَٱلْفَحْشَآءِ وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿169﴾ |
أَ مَرَ,
|
| Truly, he (shaitan) instructs you to do evil and fornication and to say what you do not know about Allah. | ||
| 170 |
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللّٰهُ قَالُوا۟ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَآ أَلْفَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَآ ۗ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ﴿170﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And when they are told to follow what Allah has revealed, they said, but we follow what our forefathers were accustomed to (faithful, familiar). Even though their forefathers did not understand anything and they were not guided. | ||
| 171 |
وَمَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَآءًۭ وَنِدَآءًۭ ۚ صُمٌّۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْىٌۭ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ﴿171﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| An example of an unjust person is someone who cries with nothing but what is heard as screams and yells. They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they do not understand. | ||
| 172 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لِلّٰهِ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ﴿172﴾ |
رَزَقَ,
|
| O you who believe! Eat the good things that We have provided for you, and be grateful to Allah if only Him you worship. | ||
| 173 |
إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ بِهِۦ لِغَيْرِ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍۢ وَلَا عَادٍۢ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌ﴿173﴾ |
رَحِمَ,
|
| Indeed, what is prohibited to you are the dead, the blood and the meat of the pig, and whatever animal has been slaughtered in the name of other than Allah on it. But there is no sin on who is in need, without desire and exceeding (requirements). Indeed, Allah is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. | ||
| 174 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللّٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَيَشْتَرُونَ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًا ۙ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ مَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِى بُطُونِهِمْ إِلَّا ٱلنَّارَ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ﴿174﴾ |
زَكَا,
|
| Those who hide what Allah has revealed in the book and trade it for a small price, they eat nothing but the fire in their stomachs, and Allah will not speak to them on the day of the standing, nor will He purify them and, for them, a painful punishment. | ||
| 175 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْعَذَابَ بِٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚ فَمَآ أَصْبَرَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ﴿175﴾ |
شَرَى,
|
| Those who purchased falsehoods instead (in place of) of guidance and punishment instead (in place of) of forgiveness. Why do they have patience with the fire? (why do they want to endure the upcoming punishment of fire). | ||
| 176 |
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ نَزَّلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَفِى شِقَاقٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ﴿176﴾21ع |
كَتَبَ,
|
| That is because Allah has sent down the Book with the truth, and those who disagree (argue, differ) with the Book are in far-reaching separation. | ||
| 177 |
۞ لَّيْسَ ٱلْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْبِرَّ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللّٰهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَءَاتَى ٱلْمَالَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ ذَوِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينَ وَٱبْنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَٱلسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِى ٱلرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَٰهَدُوا۟ ۖ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ فِى ٱلْبَأْسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَحِينَ ٱلْبَأْسِ ۗ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ﴿177﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| It is not the piety (obedience, righteousness) that you turn your face towards the direction of the East and the West, but the devoted are those who believe in Allah, the day of the hereafter, the angels, the books, and the prophets. And those who establish prayers, give charity, are faithful to fulfill their promises when they make a promise and stay patient in hardship and troubles, and when a difficulty occurs, they have confirmed the truth and are (God) fearing. And he gives due to Allah's love to those close to him, the orphans, the poor, the travelers, the beggars, and the enslaved people (releasing by paying the ransom). | ||
| 178 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِصَاصُ فِى ٱلْقَتْلَى ۖ ٱلْحُرُّ بِٱلْحُرِّ وَٱلْعَبْدُ بِٱلْعَبْدِ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰ بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ۚ فَمَنْ عُفِىَ لَهُۥ مِنْ أَخِيهِ شَىْءٌۭ فَٱتِّبَاعٌۢ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَآءٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَٰنٍۢ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۗ فَمَنِ ٱعْتَدَىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ﴿178﴾ |
عَدَا,
|
| O you those who believe, it is written down on you to settle the account for those killed in casualties (victim, fallen): the freeman for the freeman, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But if his brother forgives him for anything, then he shall follow with what is known (custom, law) and is to be given the fulfillment of payment that is an alleviation from your Rabb and Mercy. But whoever exceeds that, then for him, a painful punishment. | ||
| 179 |
وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٌۭ يَٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ﴿179﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| And for you in settlement of the account, is life, O with the intelligence, may you become (God) fearing. | ||
| 180 |
كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا ٱلْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ﴿180﴾ط |
أَ جَل,
|
| It is written down on you; when one of you arrives at death, he shall leave the will (instructions, right advice, testament, one's will, a decree by will) for his parents and his close (relatives) with the known (legal procedure), it is obligated on the God-fearing. | ||
| 181 |
فَمَنۢ بَدَّلَهُۥ بَعْدَمَا سَمِعَهُۥ فَإِنَّمَآ إِثْمُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿181﴾ط |
يَوْم,
|
| And whoever changes after what he has heard is his sin on those who change that; indeed, Allah is All Listening and All-Knowing. | ||
| 182 |
فَمَنْ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍۢ جَنَفًا أَوْ إِثْمًۭا فَأَصْلَحَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿182﴾22ع |
رَحِمَ,
|
| And whoever is willed (bequeathed), is afraid of error or offense (that will is not justified), but (then) make peace between them, then there is no sin on him; indeed Allah is the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. | ||
| 183 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ﴿183﴾لا |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you, those who believe, the fasting is destined (written down, prescribed) on you, like what was destined (prescribed) on those before you, so, that you may become (God)-fearing. | ||
| 184 |
أَيَّامًۭا مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ ۚ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍۢ فَعِدَّةٌۭ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُۥ فِدْيَةٌۭ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍۢ ۖ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًۭا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّهُۥ ۚ وَأَن تَصُومُوا۟ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿184﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Counted (specific) days, but those among you who are sick or on the journey count for later (other) days. Those who are capable (do not have the ability or capacity) pay redemption by feeding the poor, but whoever follows with goodness is better for him. If you fast, that is better for you, if only you knew. | ||
| 185 |
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَٰتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍۢ فَعِدَّةٌۭ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللّٰهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ﴿185﴾ |
نَزَلَ,
|
| The month of Ramadan is when the Koran was sent down (revealed) in it for the guidance of humankind. Clear evidence for guide and the Criterion then whoever witnesses from you the month of Ramadan he should fast in it and whoever is sick or on the journey then count from the days later, Allah intends for you the easy, He does not intend for you the hardship and when you complete the count, then praise Allah on what He has guided you and you may become thankful. | ||
| 186 |
وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِى عَنِّى فَإِنِّى قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِى وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِى لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ﴿186﴾ |
دَعَا,
|
| And when my worshippers ask you about Me, then I am close. I answer the caller's call when he calls Me, so they shall answer Me and believe in Me so they may be rightly guided. | ||
| 187 |
أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةَ ٱلصِّيَامِ ٱلرَّفَثُ إِلَىٰ نِسَآئِكُمْ ۚ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌۭ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌۭ لَّهُنَّ ۗ عَلِمَ ٱللّٰهُ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَفَا عَنكُمْ ۖ فَٱلْـَٰٔنَ بَٰشِرُوهُنَّ وَٱبْتَغُوا۟ مَا كَتَبَ ٱللّٰهُ لَكُمْ ۚ وَكُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ ٱلْخَيْطُ ٱلْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ ٱلْخَيْطِ ٱلْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ ٱلْفَجْرِ ۖ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا۟ ٱلصِّيَامَ إِلَى ٱلَّيْلِ ۚ وَلَا تُبَٰشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمْ عَٰكِفُونَ فِى ٱلْمَسَٰجِدِ ۗ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللّٰهِ فَلَا تَقْرَبُوهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللّٰهُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ﴿187﴾ |
تَا بَ,
|
| It is permissible for you, on the night of the fasting, to approach your woman. They are coverings for you, and you are coverings for them. Allah knows that you used to fail yourselves, but He accepted your repentance and forgave you. Now you can be close to them and seek what Allah has prescribed for you and eat and drink until the line of the white is clear from the line of the black in the dawn. Then complete the fast until night and do not have intimate contact with them. When you seclude in the Masjids, these are the boundaries of Allah, so do not come close to them. That is how Allah made His signs clear for humankind to become (God) fearing. | ||
| 188 |
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوٓا۟ أَمْوَٰلَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا۟ بِهَآ إِلَى ٱلْحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُوا۟ فَرِيقًۭا مِّنْ أَمْوَٰلِ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿188﴾23ع |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And do not consume your wealth (possessions, assets, properties) among yourself with falsehoods. Do not lead your authorities to consume the wealth (possessions, assets, properties) of a group of humankind wrongfully (with sin) while you know. | ||
| 189 |
۞ يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْأَهِلَّةِ ۖ قُلْ هِىَ مَوَٰقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَٱلْحَجِّ ۗ وَلَيْسَ ٱلْبِرُّ بِأَن تَأْتُوا۟ ٱلْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْبِرَّ مَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَأْتُوا۟ ٱلْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَٰبِهَا ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ﴿189﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| They ask you about the new moon. Say, those are timetables for the men and the Hajj. It is not righteousness that you come (enter) to the homes from backdoors, but it is righteousness to be (God)-fearing. So, go into the homes from the doors, and fear Allah so that you may be successful. | ||
| 190 |
وَقَٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ﴿190﴾ |
حَبَّ,
|
| And fight in the path of Allah with those who fight with you and do not transgress (do not exceed limits). Indeed, Allah does not like those who commit hostile acts. | ||
| 191 |
وَٱقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ ۚ وَٱلْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ ٱلْقَتْلِ ۚ وَلَا تُقَٰتِلُوهُمْ عِندَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ حَتَّىٰ يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ ۖ فَإِن قَٰتَلُوكُمْ فَٱقْتُلُوهُمْ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿191﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| And kill them wherever you find them and deport them where they expelled you. And the enticement is more severe than killing, but do not fight them near the Prohibited Masjid unless they fight you there. If they fight with you, then fight (back). This is the reward for the nonbelievers. | ||
| 192 |
فَإِنِ ٱنتَهَوْا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿192﴾ |
رَحِمَ,
|
| And if they restrain, then indeed, Allah is The Most Forgiving, The Most Merciful. | ||
| 193 |
وَقَٰتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌۭ وَيَكُونَ ٱلدِّينُ لِلّٰهِ ۖ فَإِنِ ٱنتَهَوْا۟ فَلَا عُدْوَٰنَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿193﴾ |
فَجَّ,
|
| And fight with them until there is no enticement left, and the religion remains for Allah alone. But if they restrain, there is no commitment to hostile acts except on the unjust. | ||
| 194 |
ٱلشَّهْرُ ٱلْحَرَامُ بِٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَٱلْحُرُمَٰتُ قِصَاصٌۭ ۚ فَمَنِ ٱعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَٱعْتَدُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا ٱعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ﴿194﴾ |
عَدَّ,
|
| The month of prohibition is the month of banishment (to fight), and violation of sanctity will cause retribution (settlement of violations). Whoever exceeds (violates) in these (months), then transgression is on them (so act) like how they have exceeded (violated) with you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with the (God) fearing. | ||
| 195 |
وَأَنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ وَلَا تُلْقُوا۟ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى ٱلتَّهْلُكَةِ ۛ وَأَحْسِنُوٓا۟ ۛ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿195﴾ |
يَدَيَ,
|
| And spend in Allah's path, do not submit (act to do) destruction with your hands, and do well (good deeds). Indeed, Allah loves those who do well (good deeds). | ||
| 196 |
وَأَتِمُّوا۟ ٱلْحَجَّ وَٱلْعُمْرَةَ لِلّٰهِ ۚ فَإِنْ أُحْصِرْتُمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ ٱلْهَدْىِ ۖ وَلَا تَحْلِقُوا۟ رُءُوسَكُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ ٱلْهَدْىُ مَحِلَّهُۥ ۚ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ بِهِۦٓ أَذًۭى مِّن رَّأْسِهِۦ فَفِدْيَةٌۭ مِّن صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍۢ ۚ فَإِذَآ أَمِنتُمْ فَمَن تَمَتَّعَ بِٱلْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى ٱلْحَجِّ فَمَا ٱسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ ٱلْهَدْىِ ۚ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلَٰثَةِ أَيَّامٍۢ فِى ٱلْحَجِّ وَسَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ ۗ تِلْكَ عَشَرَةٌۭ كَامِلَةٌۭ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن لَّمْ يَكُنْ أَهْلُهُۥ حَاضِرِى ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ﴿196﴾24ع |
تَقَى,
|
| And complete the Hajj and Umrah (minor pilgrimage) for Allah. But if you are besieged, then sacrifice what is accessible to you. And do not shave your heads until sacrifice reaches its place (of the sacrifice). Who is sick or suffers in his head, then do redemption by fasting, giving charity, or performing the sacrifice. When you are in peace, who desires the Umrah until the Hajj, donate what is easy. Who does not have the means should fast three days in the Hajj and seven when you return; these are ten totals. This is for those who have no family present (residing) at the Prohibited Masjid. Fear Allah and know that Allah is severe in the retribution. | ||
| 197 |
ٱلْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌۭ مَّعْلُومَٰتٌۭ ۚ فَمَن فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ ٱلْحَجَّ فَلَا رَفَثَ وَلَا فُسُوقَ وَلَا جِدَالَ فِى ٱلْحَجِّ ۗ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍۢ يَعْلَمْهُ ٱللّٰهُ ۗ وَتَزَوَّدُوا۟ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ ٱلزَّادِ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚ وَٱتَّقُونِ يَٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ﴿197﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| The month of Hajj is known, so those who is obligated to perform the Hajj should not be intimate, act sinfully, or quarrel during Hajj. What you do for the better, Allah knows it. And take provisions (prepare for travel, according to your needs, travel bags), but the better requirement is in the piety (when you are traveling). And fear Me, O people of intelligence. | ||
| 198 |
لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ أَن تَبْتَغُوا۟ فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۚ فَإِذَآ أَفَضْتُم مِّنْ عَرَفَٰتٍۢ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ عِندَ ٱلْمَشْعَرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۖ وَٱذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَإِن كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ﴿198﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| You are not incriminated if you seek the favors of your Rabb (by trading). When you conclude your session at Mount Arafat, remember Allah at the sacred monument and Him as He had guided you, although, before this, you were among those who were lost. | ||
| 199 |
ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا۟ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿199﴾ |
غَفَرَ,
|
| After you conclude the session, spread out where the people spread out and ask for forgiveness from Allah. Indeed, Allah is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. | ||
| 200 |
فَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَٰسِكَكُمْ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ ءَابَآءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًۭا ۗ فَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٰقٍۢ﴿200﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| Then when you complete your ceremonies, remember Allah, like you remember your forefathers, or better in remembrance. Whoever from the men who say, O my Rabb, give us in this world, and then he will have nothing for him in the hereafter from creation. | ||
| 201 |
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةًۭ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ﴿201﴾ |
نَار,
|
| And among them, who say, O our Rabb, grant us goodness with merits in this world, and in the hereafter, goodness with benefits, and save us from the punishment of the fire. | ||
| 202 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌۭ مِّمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ﴿202﴾ |
كَسَبَ,
|
| Those will have a share of them from what they earned, and Allah is quick in the account. | ||
| 203 |
۞ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍۢ مَّعْدُودَٰتٍۢ ۚ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ لِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ﴿203﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And remember Allah in the counted days (days for Hajj), but who hurries in two days, then there's no sin on him, and who stays (stays for a more extended period), then there is no sin on him who is fearful. Fear Allah and know that you will be gathered to Him. | ||
| 204 |
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُعْجِبُكَ قَوْلُهُۥ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيُشْهِدُ ٱللّٰهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِى قَلْبِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلْخِصَامِ﴿204﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| And among the men, he surprises you, with his words, about the life of this world, and he calls Allah as a witness on what is in his heart, while he is fierce in quarreling. | ||
| 205 |
وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ ٱلْحَرْثَ وَٱلنَّسْلَ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْفَسَادَ﴿205﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| And when he turns away, he pursues (goes after) to spread corruption in the earth and destroys the cultivated land and the brood animals. Allah does not like corruption (immorality, weakness). | ||
| 206 |
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللّٰهَ أَخَذَتْهُ ٱلْعِزَّةُ بِٱلْإِثْمِ ۚ فَحَسْبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ﴿206﴾ |
أَخَذَ,
|
| And when he is told to fear Allah, he follows (takes) on his sinful pride. Hell will be in his account and a miserable resting place. | ||
| 207 |
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِى نَفْسَهُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ﴿207﴾ |
أَنِسَ,
|
| Among men is he who trades himself to seek Allah's pleasure (acceptance). And Allah is Compassionate to His worshippers. | ||
| 208 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ فِى ٱلسِّلْمِ كَآفَّةًۭ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿208﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| O you who believe, enter Islam (peace) entirely and do not follow the shaitan's plans (lines). Indeed, he is a clear enemy for you. | ||
| 209 |
فَإِن زَلَلْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْكُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ﴿209﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| But if you submitted (to shaitan) after what came to you clearly, then know Allah is The Most Powerful, The Wisest. | ||
| 210 |
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ فِى ظُلَلٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْغَمَامِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ﴿210﴾25ع |
نَظَرَ,
|
| Are they waiting for Allah to come (appear) to them from the shades of the clouds and the angels and that all matters (decisions) shall be decided (for them)? And (know that) all issues (decisions) return to Allah. | ||
| 211 |
سَلْ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ كَمْ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُم مِّنْ ءَايَةٍۭ بَيِّنَةٍۢ ۗ وَمَن يُبَدِّلْ نِعْمَةَ ٱللّٰهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُ فَإِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ﴿211﴾ |
بَا نَ,
|
| Ask the children of Israel how many clear signs We brought to them. Whoever changes the favor of Allah after it comes to him, then indeed, Allah is severe in retribution (punishment). | ||
| 212 |
زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۘ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ﴿212﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| The life of this world is decorated for nonbelievers, and they mock believers. But those who fear Him will be above them on the day of standing. And Allah provides means of livelihood for whomsoever He wills without reckoning (estimation, expectation). | ||
| 213 |
كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَبَعَثَ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فِيمَا ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا ٱخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ بَغْيًۢا بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ فَهَدَى ٱللّٰهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَا ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ﴿213﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Humankind had been one nation, then Allah raised prophets, giving them the good news and warning them. And sent down with them (revealed) the Book with the truth to decide between humankind what they were contradicting in it. But they did not reject (deny) it, except for those who were given it after the clear evidence (message) came to them (they contradicted and used the message) to oppress one another. Then Allah guided believers in what they (nonbelievers) were contradicting with the truth with His permission. And Allah guides whom He wants towards the straight path. (NOTE: This Ayat indicates that Prophets were sent with the Book, one Book as a source. The message never changed). | ||
| 214 |
أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلِكُم ۖ مَّسَّتْهُمُ ٱلْبَأْسَآءُ وَٱلضَّرَّآءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ نَصْرَ ٱللّٰهِ قَرِيبٌۭ﴿214﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| "Or did you think you would enter Paradise without examples (facing the trials) that those who came before you (had to endure)? They were touched (tested) with hardships; they were hurt and shaken up until the messenger and those who believed with him said that when Allah's help (would come). Indeed, the support of Allah is always close by." | ||
| 215 |
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ ۖ قُلْ مَآ أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍۢ فَلِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ۗ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍۢ فَإِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿215﴾ |
نَفَقَ,
|
| They ask you what they should be spending. Say, whatever you spend to benefit the parents, and the relatives, and the orphans, and the poor, and the travelers. Whatever good (help) you do, Allah Knows All. | ||
| 216 |
كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكْرَهُوا۟ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تُحِبُّوا۟ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُوَ شَرٌّۭ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿216﴾26ع |
عَلِمَ,
|
| It is obligatory for you to fight, even though it is unpleasant to you. And perhaps something you do not like (but) is better for you, and something you want (but) is harmful to you. Allah Knows, and you do not know. | ||
| 217 |
يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍۢ فِيهِ ۖ قُلْ قِتَالٌۭ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌۭ ۖ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ وَكُفْرٌۢ بِهِۦ وَٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِۦ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ وَٱلْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ ٱلْقَتْلِ ۗ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ ۚ وَمَن يَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِۦ فَيَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌۭ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ﴿217﴾ |
خَلَدَ,
|
| They ask you about fighting in the prohibited month. Say, fighting in it is significant, and (but) hindering from the path of Allah, and being ungrateful to Him, preventing access to the prohibited mosque, and deporting their residents from it, is more significant near Allah. And enticement is more severe than killings. They will not cease to fight with you until you turn away from your faith if they are capable. Whoever among you turns away from his faith and dies while being a nonbeliever, and their deeds are wasted in this world and hereafter. They will be the companions of the fire, and they will live there forever. | ||
| 218 |
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَ ٱللّٰهِ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿218﴾ |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| Those who believed, migrated, and fought in Allah's path hope for Allah's Mercy. And Allah is The Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. | ||
| 219 |
۞ يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْخَمْرِ وَٱلْمَيْسِرِ ۖ قُلْ فِيهِمَآ إِثْمٌۭ كَبِيرٌۭ وَمَنَٰفِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَإِثْمُهُمَآ أَكْبَرُ مِن نَّفْعِهِمَا ۗ وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلِ ٱلْعَفْوَ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللّٰهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ﴿219﴾لا |
نَفَقَ,
|
| They ask you about intoxication and gambling. Say, they are great sins and profit for humankind, and the crimes in both are more significant than their benefits. And they ask you what they should spend, say, the free (surplus). That is how Allah makes the verses-signs clear for you so that you may think. | ||
| 220 |
فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۗ وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ ۖ قُلْ إِصْلَاحٌۭ لَّهُمْ خَيْرٌۭ ۖ وَإِن تُخَالِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ ٱلْمُصْلِحِ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ لَأَعْنَتَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ﴿220﴾ |
فَسَدَ,
|
| In the world and for the hereafter. And they ask you about orphans. Say reforming (their condition) is better; if you associate with them, they are your brothers. Allah knows the one who is a corrupter from the one who is a reformer, and if Allah willed, He (could) put a hardship on you. Indeed, Allah is the Most Powerful, The Wisest. | ||
| 221 |
وَلَا تَنكِحُوا۟ ٱلْمُشْرِكَٰتِ حَتَّىٰ يُؤْمِنَّ ۚ وَلَأَمَةٌۭ مُّؤْمِنَةٌ خَيْرٌۭ مِّن مُّشْرِكَةٍۢ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تُنكِحُوا۟ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ حَتَّىٰ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚ وَلَعَبْدٌۭ مُّؤْمِنٌ خَيْرٌۭ مِّن مُّشْرِكٍۢ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكُمْ ۗ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَٱللّٰهُ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۖ وَيُبَيِّنُ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ﴿221﴾27ع |
دَعَا,
|
| And do not marry polytheist women until they believe. The slave-believing girl is better than a polytheist woman even though she is pleasing to you. And do not marry polytheist men until they believe. The slave-believing man is better than the polytheist man even though he is pleasing to you. They invite you to the fire, but Allah invites you to paradise and forgiveness with His permission. He makes His Signs clear for humankind so that maybe they will remember. | ||
| 222 |
وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْمَحِيضِ ۖ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًۭى فَٱعْتَزِلُوا۟ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فِى ٱلْمَحِيضِ ۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَطْهُرْنَ ۖ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ وَيُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ﴿222﴾ |
سَأَلَ,
|
| And they ask you about menstruation. Say that is harmful, so separate from women in menstruation. And do not get close to them until they are cleansed. When they are cleansed, you can come to them from where Allah advises you. Allah loves those who repent, and He loves those who are clean. | ||
| 223 |
نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌۭ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُوا۟ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّىٰ شِئْتُمْ ۖ وَقَدِّمُوا۟ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُم مُّلَٰقُوهُ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿223﴾ |
بَشِرَ,
|
| Your women are cultivation for you, so come to your cultivation as you desire and send (good deeds) ahead for yourself. And fear Allah and know that you will be meeting Him. And give good news to the believers. | ||
| 224 |
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ عُرْضَةًۭ لِّأَيْمَٰنِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ وَتُصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿224﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And do not make Allah for presenting your beliefs that you are pious and fearful and make peace among the men; Allah is All Listening All-Knowing. | ||
| 225 |
لَّا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ بِٱللَّغْوِ فِىٓ أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌۭ﴿225﴾ |
لَغَا,
|
| Allah will not hold you responsible when you talk foolishly about your beliefs, but He will take hold of you what you earned in your heart. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Forbearing. | ||
| 226 |
لِّلَّذِينَ يُؤْلُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمْ تَرَبُّصُ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍۢ ۖ فَإِن فَآءُو فَإِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ﴿226﴾ |
رَحِمَ,
|
| Those who take an oath (for abstention) from their women should wait four months. Then if they retreat (if they change their mind, they don't have to wait four months and can return to their wives). Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful if they return. | ||
| 227 |
وَإِنْ عَزَمُوا۟ ٱلطَّلَٰقَ فَإِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿227﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And if they decide to divorce, then indeed, Allah is All-Listening, All-Knowing. | ||
| 228 |
وَٱلْمُطَلَّقَٰتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلَٰثَةَ قُرُوٓءٍۢ ۚ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللّٰهُ فِىٓ أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِٱللّٰهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۚ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُوٓا۟ إِصْلَٰحًۭا ۚ وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَيْهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌۭ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ﴿228﴾28ع |
خَلَقَ,
|
| The divorced women should wait by themselves for three investigations (Menstruations). It is not lawful for them to hide what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the day of the hereafter. Their husbands have more rights for them to return if they desire to make peace. And for them (women), men are a step over them. And Allah is Most Powerful, The Wisest. | ||
| 229 |
ٱلطَّلَٰقُ مَرَّتَانِ ۖ فَإِمْسَاكٌۢ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيحٌۢ بِإِحْسَٰنٍۢ ۗ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَن تَأْخُذُوا۟ مِمَّآ ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ شَيْـًٔا إِلَّآ أَن يَخَافَآ أَلَّا يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ ٱللّٰهِ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا فِيمَا ٱفْتَدَتْ بِهِۦ ۗ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللّٰهِ فَلَا تَعْتَدُوهَا ۚ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ ٱللّٰهِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ﴿229﴾ |
أَتَى,
|
| Divorce is allowed two times. Then hold them with recognition or let them go free with goodness. And It is not lawful for you to take back anything you have given them unless they both fear that they will not keep the boundaries of Allah. Then If you fear that they will not hold the boundaries of Allah, no sin on both in this if she gives up (her dowry) to free herself; this is the boundary of Allah, so do not exceed these (boundaries Allah). And whoever transcends the limits of Allah, then they are unjust. | ||
| 230 |
فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدُ حَتَّىٰ تَنكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُۥ ۗ فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَآ أَن يَتَرَاجَعَآ إِن ظَنَّآ أَن يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللّٰهِ يُبَيِّنُهَا لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿230﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Then if you divorce her, she is not lawful for you until she marries another husband. If he divorces her, then there is no sin on them to return to each other if they will both keep the boundaries of Allah. These are the boundaries of Allah clarified for the nation who understands (knows). | ||
| 231 |
وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ سَرِّحُوهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوفٍۢ ۚ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوهُنَّ ضِرَارًۭا لِّتَعْتَدُوا۟ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُۥ ۚ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللّٰهِ هُزُوًۭا ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْحِكْمَةِ يَعِظُكُم بِهِۦ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿231﴾29ع |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And when you divorce the women, they should reach their fixed time, then (either) keep them with recognition or set them free with recognition. And do not hold them to hurt by transgression. And whoever does that, then he is unjust to only himself. And do not take verses of Allah to ignore. And remember the blessings of Allah on you and what is sent down on you in the book with wisdom. He advises you about it. And be fearful of Allah and know that Allah has Knowledge of Everything. | ||
| 232 |
وَإِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ أَن يَنكِحْنَ أَزْوَٰجَهُنَّ إِذَا تَرَٰضَوْا۟ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ يُوعَظُ بِهِۦ مَن كَانَ مِنكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللّٰهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۗ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَزْكَىٰ لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴿232﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| When you divorce a woman, and they reach their fixed term, do not prevent them from marrying their husbands if they agree between them in a reasonable manner. This advice is for among you who believe in Allah and the day of the hereafter. That is better for you and the cleaner. Allah knows, and you do not know. | ||
| 233 |
۞ وَٱلْوَٰلِدَٰتُ يُرْضِعْنَ أَوْلَٰدَهُنَّ حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ ۖ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُتِمَّ ٱلرَّضَاعَةَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلْمَوْلُودِ لَهُۥ رِزْقُهُنَّ وَكِسْوَتُهُنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ لَا تُكَلَّفُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَا تُضَآرَّ وَٰلِدَةٌۢ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلَا مَوْلُودٌۭ لَّهُۥ بِوَلَدِهِۦ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلْوَارِثِ مِثْلُ ذَٰلِكَ ۗ فَإِنْ أَرَادَا فِصَالًا عَن تَرَاضٍۢ مِّنْهُمَا وَتَشَاوُرٍۢ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا ۗ وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن تَسْتَرْضِعُوٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَكُمْ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا سَلَّمْتُم مَّآ ءَاتَيْتُم بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌۭ﴿233﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| And the mothers may feed their children for two years, complete for those who desire to complete the feeding period. The father has to take care of the baby, their provisions, and their clothing in recognized ways. No difficulty on any soul beyond their capacity. No trouble for the mother on account of her child and no trouble for the father on account of his child. (No suffering for parents on account of their child). And on the heir (if the father dies), it is the same duty. If they both desire to separate from feeding with the agreement, then no sin is on them. If you want that other to nurse for your child, then no sin is on you if you turn over with pay in recognized ways. And fear Allah and know. Indeed, Allah Sees what you do. | ||
| 234 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًۭا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍۢ وَعَشْرًۭا ۖ فَإِذَا بَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ﴿234﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| And among you who die and leave behind their wives, they (wives) should wait for four months and ten days. When they reach their time, there is no sin on them about what they do for themselves in the recognized manner, and Allah Knows what you do. | ||
| 235 |
وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُم بِهِۦ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ أَوْ أَكْنَنتُمْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ عَلِمَ ٱللّٰهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّآ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ قَوْلًۭا مَّعْرُوفًۭا ۚ وَلَا تَعْزِمُوا۟ عُقْدَةَ ٱلنِّكَاحِ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ أَجَلَهُۥ ۚ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ فَٱحْذَرُوهُ ۚ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌۭ﴿235﴾30ع |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And there is no sin in how you hint to propose to the woman or hide in yourself. Allah knows that you will soon mention it to them. But do not promise them in secret unless you say words in a recognized manner. And do not decide to conclude the marriage until they reach the written period. And know that Allah knows what is in you, so be careful of Him. And know Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Forbearing. | ||
| 236 |
لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِن طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ مَا لَمْ تَمَسُّوهُنَّ أَوْ تَفْرِضُوا۟ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةًۭ ۚ وَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ عَلَى ٱلْمُوسِعِ قَدَرُهُۥ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُقْتِرِ قَدَرُهُۥ مَتَٰعًۢا بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿236﴾ |
نَسَأَ,
|
| There is no sin if you divorce the woman that you have not touched or you made an obligation to compensate them. And pay them; the wealthy (should pay) according to his capacity and the poor according to his ability. Compensation in a recognized manner is necessary for the good-doers. | ||
| 237 |
وَإِن طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ وَقَدْ فَرَضْتُمْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةًۭ فَنِصْفُ مَا فَرَضْتُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يَعْفُونَ أَوْ يَعْفُوَا۟ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ عُقْدَةُ ٱلنِّكَاحِ ۚ وَأَن تَعْفُوٓا۟ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚ وَلَا تَنسَوُا۟ ٱلْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ﴿237﴾ |
قَبِلَ,
|
| If you divorce them before you touch them and made an obligation to compensate them, give half of what you are bound to unless they forgive or the one whose hand was in the contract of the marriage forgives them. And if you overlook (let go with full payment), it is closer for the (God) fearing, and do not forget the graciousness among you. Allah is all Seeing about what you do. | ||
| 238 |
حَٰفِظُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَوَٰتِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱلْوُسْطَىٰ وَقُومُوا۟ لِلّٰهِ قَٰنِتِينَ﴿238﴾ |
قَنَتَ,
|
| Hold on to prayers and the prayer of the middle, and stand for Allah as obedient. | ||
| 239 |
فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ فَرِجَالًا أَوْ رُكْبَانًۭا ۖ فَإِذَآ أَمِنتُمْ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللّٰهَ كَمَا عَلَّمَكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿239﴾ |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And if you fear, then (pray) on foot (walking) or riding (driving). And when you are in peace, remember Allah, as He Taught you what you did not know. | ||
| 240 |
وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًۭا وَصِيَّةًۭ لِّأَزْوَٰجِهِم مَّتَٰعًا إِلَى ٱلْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍۢ ۚ فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى مَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ مِن مَّعْرُوفٍۢ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ﴿240﴾ |
نَفُسَ,
|
| Those who die among you and leave their wives shall provide provisions for a year without leaving (maintenance and homes shall be provided). There is no sin in what they do for themselves in a recognized manner if they go. Allah is The Most Powerful, The Wisest. | ||
| 241 |
وَلِلْمُطَلَّقَٰتِ مَتَٰعٌۢ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ﴿241﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| And for the divorced, provisions in the recognized manner are obligated on the (God)-fearing. | ||
| 242 |
كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللّٰهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ﴿242﴾31ع |
عَقَلَ,
|
| That is how Allah makes His signs (verses) clear for you to understand. | ||
| 243 |
۞ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمْ وَهُمْ أُلُوفٌ حَذَرَ ٱلْمَوْتِ فَقَالَ لَهُمُ ٱللّٰهُ مُوتُوا۟ ثُمَّ أَحْيَٰهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ﴿243﴾ |
حي,
|
| Do you not see to those who left their homes, in thousands, as a precaution of death? Then Allah said to them, die. Then He gave them life. Indeed, Allah is graceful to humankind, but many humans do not thank Him. | ||
| 244 |
وَقَٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿244﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Fight (Battle, Struggle) in the cause of Allah and know that Allah is All-Listening, All-Knowing. | ||
| 245 |
مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقْرِضُ ٱللّٰهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥٓ أَضْعَافًۭا كَثِيرَةًۭ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْصُۜطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ﴿245﴾ |
حَسَنَ,
|
| Whoever gives a loan to Allah, it is a generous loan so He will multiply it for him with an increase many times. Allah shrinks and spreads (Allah Controls provisions of livelihood and wealth), and you will return to Him. | ||
| 246 |
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ مِنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ لِنَبِىٍّۢ لَّهُمُ ٱبْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكًۭا نُّقَٰتِلْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ ۖ قَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ أَلَّا تُقَٰتِلُوا۟ ۖ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نُقَٰتِلَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللّٰهِ وَقَدْ أُخْرِجْنَا مِن دِيَٰرِنَا وَأَبْنَآئِنَا ۖ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوْا۟ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنْهُمْ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿246﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Did you not see the chiefs of children of Israel after Musa? When they said to their prophet, raise a king for us so that we will fight in the cause of Allah, he said, is it possible that if fighting was ordained for you, then you will not fight? They said, why would we not fight for Allah's cause when our children and we have been deported from our homes? But when fighting was ordained for them, they turned back, except a few of them. But Allah Knows who is unjust. Note. Yaqoob (Jacob) Alahis-Salam was the son of Ishaq (Isaac) Alahis-Salam and the grandson of Ibrahim (Abraham) Alahis-Salam. Yaqoob, (Jacob) Alahis-Salam is also named Israel, meaning 'Servant of Allah. | ||
| 247 |
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ قَدْ بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طَالُوتَ مَلِكًۭا ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِٱلْمُلْكِ مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُؤْتَ سَعَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلْمَالِ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَزَادَهُۥ بَسْطَةًۭ فِى ٱلْعِلْمِ وَٱلْجِسْمِ ۖ وَٱللّٰهُ يُؤْتِى مُلْكَهُۥ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللّٰهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ﴿247﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Their prophet told them Allah had delegated Taluth as a king for you. They said, "Why is he the king for us when we have more right to be the king than him, and he has not been given abundance of wealth?". Said (prophet), "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you. He provided him with enormous knowledge and stature. Allah grants His kingship to whomever He desires, and Allah Has the Most Extended Knowledge". | ||
| 248 |
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ ءَايَةَ مُلْكِهِۦٓ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ ٱلتَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌۭ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ ءَالُ مُوسَىٰ وَءَالُ هَٰرُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ﴿248﴾32ع |
آ ىي -آية,
|
| And their prophet said to them. Indeed, a sign of his kingdom is that he will bring the ark (coffin) for you, and there is tranquility from your Rabb and relics of the remaining inheritance of the family of Musa and Haroon. The Angels carry it; indeed, this is a sign for you if you are believers. | ||
| 249 |
فَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِٱلْجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍۢ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّى وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّىٓ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةًۢ بِيَدِهِۦ ۚ فَشَرِبُوا۟ مِنْهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنْهُمْ ۚ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُۥ هُوَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ قَالُوا۟ لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦ ۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ ٱللّٰهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةٍۢ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةًۭ كَثِيرَةًۢ بِإِذْنِ ٱللّٰهِ ۗ وَٱللّٰهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ﴿249﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| When Talut went out with his army, he said Allah would test you with a river. Then whoever drinks from it does not belong with me, but whoever does not drink from it does belong with me, except for whoever gulps from cupped hand. But they drank from it, except a few of them. Then, when they passed (crossed) over it, those believing in him said; we do not have the power to fight with Goliath and his army. But those who knew that they would meet Allah said how many from a small group had overcome a more influential group with the permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient. | ||
| 250 |
وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا۟ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًۭا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ﴿250﴾ط |
قَالَ,
|
| When they appeared on Goliath and his army, they said; our Rabb pour down patience on us (give us patience), establish our foothold, and help us (to overcome) the nation of the nonbelievers. | ||
| 251 |
فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ ٱللّٰهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُۥدُ جَالُوتَ وَءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُۥ مِمَّا يَشَآءُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍۢ لَّفَسَدَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿251﴾ |
بَعَضَ,
|
| Then, with the permission of Allah, they defeated them, and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him the kingdom and wisdom and taught him what He wanted. And if Allah had not driven away some of humankind using others, they would have spread corruption (immorality) on the Earth. And but Allah is gracious on the worlds. | ||
| 252 |
تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللّٰهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿252﴾ |
رَسِلَ,
|
| These are the verses of Allah that We recite to you with the truth. Indeed, you are among the Messengers. | ||
| 253 |
۞ تِلْكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ ۘ مِّنْهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ ٱللّٰهُ ۖ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَٰتٍۢ ۚ وَءَاتَيْنَا عِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَيَّدْنَٰهُ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ ۗ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ وَلَٰكِنِ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ ءَامَنَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن كَفَرَ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ﴿253﴾33ع |
بَعَضَ,
|
| These are the Messengers; We gave preference to some over others. Some of them are those whom Allah has spoken to and raised in the ranks. We gave Isa, son of Maryam, the clear evidences and helped him with the Holy Spirit. If Allah wanted, they would not have fought those after them, after what came to them in clear evidence. Still, they differentiated (contradicted) among those (some) who believed and among them (some) who were nonbelievers. And If Allah wanted, they would not have fought, but Allah does what He desires. | ||
| 254 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌۭ لَّا بَيْعٌۭ فِيهِ وَلَا خُلَّةٌۭ وَلَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ ۗ وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ﴿254﴾ |
رَدَفَ,
|
| O Believers, spend from the means of livelihood that We provide before the day arrives when there will be no bargain, nor will there be a friend nor a mediator. Those who are nonbelievers are unjust. | ||
| 255 |
ٱللّٰهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ ۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ﴿255﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
