||
||
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
1 |
|
The command of Allah has come, so do not hasten it. All praises are for Him; He is Exalted High above all (what) they make partners with Him.
2 |
|
He sends the angels to inspire His command on whomever He desires among His worshippers: “To Warn them that there is no God except Me, so fear Me.”
3 |
|
He created the universe and the earth with true essentials (conditions, proportionate, designed, sized, and justified by its needs). He is exalted high above all; (how) they make partners (He does not need a partner).
4 |
|
He created humankind from a drop of semen, yet he (humankind) became openly arguing.
5 |
|
And the cattle, He created them for you. In them are warmth (by making clothes from leather and furs of sheep, lambs, goats, cows, camels, etc.) and (other) benefits, and you are eating (and also getting milk) from them.
6 |
|
And it is beautiful when you let them rest and when you let them graze freely in the evening.
7 |
|
And they carry your weight to the town that you could not achieve (reach) without hardship to yourself. Indeed, your Rabb is Most Compassionate and Most Merciful (He provided means of transportation for your livelihood. Humankind could not have developed modern vehicles if there were no animals to ride, carry on their belongings, and transport materials initially starting civilization).
8 |
|
And the horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride on them and as a decoration. And He creates (other things) what you do not know.
9 |
|
And to Allah is the ultimate destination of the path, but in this (path) is also deviation (people may have different aims to fulfill their self-desires while pretending to be aiming to the way of Allah). If He desired, He would have guided you all together.
10 |
|
He is the One who sent down water from the sky for you. From this (you) drink, and from this (you) water the trees, and from this (you) graze freely.
11 |
|
And from this, He grows plants (cultivation), the olives, the date-palm trees, the grapes, and all kinds of fruits for you. These are signs for the nation that (intellectually) thinks.
12 |
|
And He subjugated for you night and day, the sun and moon, and the stars under His command. There are signs for the nation that (intelligently) understands.
13 |
|
And whatever He has strewn (spread) for you (and all other things) in the earth with different colors. Indeed, there are signs for the nation that (intelligently) remembers.
14 |
|
And He is the one who subjugated the oceans for you to eat fresh meat from it and to bring out ornaments from it that you wear. And you see the ships with back sterns (to help navigate) to seek the bounties of Him so that you may become thankful.
15 |
|
And He cast the mountains in the Earth, that (Earth) may swing (or swing out) with you. He cast rivers and created paths so that maybe you will get guidance. (Praise your Rabb that He created everything to provide you with comfort and livelihood).[Note. Most mountains formed from Earth’s tectonic plates smashing together. Below the ground, Earth’s crust is made up of multiple tectonic plates. They have been moving around since the beginning of time. And they still move today due to geologic activity below the surface. On average, these plates move at a rate of about one to two inches each year); (A river forms from water moving from a higher to a lower elevation due to gravity. When rain falls on the land, it either seeps into the ground or becomes runoff, which flows downhill into rivers and lakes, on its journey towards the seas].
16 |
|
And landmarks (signposts). And by the stars, they get guidance. (Use of astronomy to navigate by the stars).
17 |
|
Is He who creates, like him who does not create? Do you then not (think and) mention?
18 |
|
And if you (try to) count favors of Allah, you cannot count them (they are countless for you). Indeed, Allah is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
19 |
|
And Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare.
20 |
|
And those they call other than Allah do not create anything but are themselves created.
21 |
|
They are dead, without life (not alive), and do not know when they will be resurrected. Note. (This Ayat indicates that visiting the graves of remarkable individuals to seek their influence or intercession is an act of polytheism that is not accepted in monotheistic religions, including Islam).
22 |
|
Your God is one God. As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are in denial, and they are arrogant.
23 |
|
Without a doubt, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare. He does not like those who are arrogant.
24 |
|
And when it is said to them, “What has your Rabb revealed?” They say, “Fable myths of ancestors.”
25 |
|
Let them carry their burdens altogether on the Day of Standing and (including) charges for those they have misguided without knowing. What evil (burden) do they carry?
26 |
|
Already, those before them (the earlier nations) have also deceived, but Allah annihilated their basis of constructions from the foundations (at the bases) and dropped the roofs (ceiling) from above them. He brought them the punishment where they did not realize.
27 |
|
After that, on the Day of Standing, He will disgrace them and say, “Where are My partners that you used them to separate (yourself from Me)? Those given the knowledge will say, “The disgrace and evil of this day are on the ungrateful.”
28 |
|
When the angels take those, who have done injustice to themselves, to death, they will surrender and submit (saying) that we were not doing evil. But Allah is All-Knowing about what you have been doing.
29 |
|
So, enter the gates of Hell to live therein forever. What a wretched place for arrogant persons to settle down.
30 |
|
And when it is said to those who fear their Rabb, “What has your Rabb revealed?” They said, “Best thing”. For those who do good in this world is goodness, and the Home of the Hereafter is even best for the God-fearing.
31 |
|
Gardens of Eden, they will enter in there, with running rivers below them, for them (they will be provided with) whatever they desire. That is how Allah rewards God-fearing.
32 |
|
Those whom the angels take to death in a state of purity (angels) will say, “Peace be upon you; enter Paradise because of what you have been doing.”
33 |
|
Are they waiting for the angels to come to them or for the decisions of your Rabb to arrive? Those before them did the same. Allah was not unjust to them, but they were unjust to themselves.
34 |
|
So, the consequences of harm they were doing will reach them and surround them with what they were mocking.
35 |
|
And those who make partners with Allah say, “If Allah desired, we would not have worshipped other than Him in anything; not us and not our ancestors, and we would not have declared anything other than Him.” That is how those before them have done. Is it not on the messengers except to communicate the clear message?”
36 |
|
And We have raised in every nation a messenger: “Worship Allah and avoid exceeding the proper bounds.” Among them are those whom Allah has guided, and among them are those who justified the misguidance. So, travel on the earth and see how those denied received retribution (punishment).
37 |
|
And even if you desire to guide them, Allah does not guide those who are misguided. Nobody is there for them as a helper.
38 |
|
And they take an oath to Allah with strenuous efforts (to prove) their belief that “Allah will not resurrect who dies.” But It is a promise binding upon Him, it is the truth (that they will be raised and they will be judged), but many of humankind do not know.
39 |
|
To make it straightforward for those who differ in this (rising of the dead on Judgment Day) and those who are ungrateful to know that they have been lying.
40 |
|
It is only Our saying on anything when We desire; We say for it to be “done” then it is done (becomes).
41 |
|
Those who migrated for Allah after they were unjustly treated (We) will establish them in this world in the right place, but the reward in the Hereafter will be more significant if only they knew.
42 |
|
Those who were patient and put their trust in their Rabb.
43 |
|
And We did not send (messengers) before you except as men; We inspired them. So, ask the learned people if you do not know.
44 |
|
With clear proofs and the Zaboor (Psalms, the holy book of Dawud). And We sent down to you the Remembrance (Al-Quran), for you to make it clear for humanity what was sent down for them (The revelations of the Message of Allah to Guide humanity through the Holy Book, Al Quran), and perhaps they will think intelligently.
45 |
|
Does committing evil deeds give them a sense of peace or security? Do they not know that Allah can sink them into the earth or that punishment will come to them in ways they cannot realize?
46 |
|
"Will He not catch them while they are walking around?" And they will be powerless (they will not have the power to escape).
47 |
|
"Or will He hold them in what they fear?" But your Rabb is Compassionate and Merciful.
48 |
|
Do they not see the things that Allah has created? Their shadows move from right to left, prostrating to Allah while they are subjugated. (These are the signs of Allah that we observe, such as shadow movements).
49 |
|
Everything in the universe and on earth, including animals and angels, prostrates to Allah; none are arrogant.
50 |
|
They fear their Rabb above them and perform to His commandments.". ۩ (Prostration).
51 |
|

And Allah has sent down water from the sky, then gave life with it to the earth after it was dead; indeed, there are signs for the nation who listens. [(Note. Water is polar. Water molecules are polar, with partial positive charges on the hydrogens, a partial negative charge on the oxygen, and a bent overall structure. This is because oxygen is more electronegative, meaning that it is better than hydrogen at attracting electrons. Water is an excellent solvent. Water has the unique ability to dissolve many polar and ionic substances. This is important to all living things because, as water travels through the water cycle, it takes many valuable nutrients along with it! Water has high heat capacity. It takes a lot of energy to raise the temperature of a certain amount of water by a degree, so water helps with regulating temperature in the environment. For example, this property allows the temperature of water in a pond to stay relatively constant from day to night, regardless of the changing atmospheric temperature. Water has high heat of vaporization. Humans (and other animals that sweat) use water’s high heat of vaporization to cool off. Water is converted from its liquid form to steam when the heat of vaporization is reached. Since sweat is made mostly of water, the evaporating water absorbs excess body heat, which is released into the atmosphere. This is known as evaporative cooling. Water has cohesive and adhesive properties. Water molecules have strong cohesive forces due to their ability to form hydrogen bonds with one another. Cohesive forces are responsible for surface tension, the tendency of a liquid’s surface to resist rupture when placed under tension or stress. Water also has adhesive properties that allow it to stick to substances other than itself. These cohesive and adhesive properties are essential for fluid transport in many forms of life. For example, they allow nutrients to be transported to the top of a tree against the force of gravity. Water is less dense as a solid than as a liquid. As water freezes, the molecules form a crystalline structure that spaces the molecules further apart than in liquid water. This means that ice is less dense than liquid water, which is why it floats. This property is important, as it keeps ponds, lakes, and oceans from freezing solid and allows life to continue to thrive under the icy surface. (Ref.https://www.khanacademy.org)].

And Allah is the One, Who brings you through your mother's wombs; you do not know anything, and He made for you the faculties of hearing, sight, and a heart so that maybe you will become thankful (To Allah, for giving tools to enjoy the life). [(NOTE: Hearing-In humans and other vertebrates, hearing is performed primarily by the auditory system: mechanical waves, known as vibrations, are detected by the ear and transduced into nerve impulses that are perceived by the brain. Like touch, audition requires sensitivity to the movement of molecules in the world outside the organism. Seeing-In humans and several other mammals, light enters the eye through the cornea and is focused by the lens onto the retina, a light-sensitive membrane at the back of the eye. The retina serves as a transducer for converting light into neuronal signals. This transduction is achieved by specialized photoreceptive cells of the retina, also known as the rods and cones, which detect the photons of light and respond by producing neural impulses. These signals are transmitted by the optic nerve from the retina upstream to the central ganglia in the brain—the lateral geniculate nucleus, which transmits the information to the visual cortex. Signals from the retina also travel directly from the retina to the superior colliculus. The Heart-The heart pumps blood with a rhythm determined by a group of pacemaking cells in the sinoatrial node. These generate a current that causes contraction of the heart, traveling through the atrioventricular node and along the conduction system of the heart. The heart receives blood low in oxygen from the systemic circulation, which enters the right atrium from the superior and inferior venae cave and passes to the right ventricle. From here it is pumped into the pulmonary circulation, through the lungs where it receives oxygen and gives off carbon dioxide. Oxygenated blood then returns to the left atrium, passes through the left ventricle and is pumped out through the aorta to the systemic circulation−where the oxygen is used and metabolized to carbon dioxide. The heart beats at a resting rate close to 72 beats per minute. Notes copied from Wikipedia)].

And fulfill your promises with Allah when you commit. Do not violate the beliefs after confirmation, and already you made Allah guardian over you; indeed, Allah, Knows what you do.
92 |
|
And do not be like her, who overburdened her spinning yarn after she strengthened, until (it became) a broken (yarn). You take your oaths to swindle among yourself, so you can become a community that is in high esteem from another community. Indeed, Allah puts a test for you with this and will surely make it clear to you on the day of the standing about what you have been contradicting.
93 |
|
And if Allah would have desired, He would have made you a single nation, but He lets him get misguided whom He wishes and guides him whom He wants, and indeed you will be questioned about what you have been doing.
94 |
|
And do not take your oaths to deceive among you, then you will slip a step after standing firm and taste evil because you have turned away from the path of Allah, for you, there will be a great punishment.
95 |
|
And do not trade oaths of Allah with a little price; indeed, what is with Allah that is the best for you if you were to know.
96 |
|
What is with you will be exhausted, and what is with Allah will remain, and We will surely compensate those who were patient with their reward with better than what they have been doing.
97 |
|
Whether male or female, whoever did a good deed and he (or she) is a believer, then We will give him (or her) a living of a good life and surely will compensate them with their reward better than what they have been doing.
98 |
|
And when you recite the Quran, ask for the protection of Allah from the Shaitan-the cursed one.
99 |
|
Indeed, he (shaitan) has no authority over those who believe, and they put their trust in their Rabb.
100 |
|
Indeed, his (shaitan's) authority is on those who make him in charge of them and those who share with him (his desires).
101 |
|
And when We replace a verse in place of a verse, and Allah better knows with what it is revealed, they say, but you are a fabricator, but many of them do not know.
102 |
|
Say, the Holy Spirit ( Angel Gibrael) has revealed this, the truth from your Rabb to confirm those who believe and a guidance and good news for the Muslims.
103 |
|
And indeed, We know what they say, that he is being taught by a man whose tongue deviates to non-Arabic (different than Arabic), and this is in a clear language, Arabic.
104 |
|
Indeed, for those who do not believe in the verses and signs of Allah, Allah does not guide them, and for them is a painful punishment.
105 |
|
They only fabricate lies, do not believe in Allah's signs and verses, and are liars.
106 |
|
Whoever becomes an unbeliever in Allah after he believes, except who is forced unwillingly, and his heart is satisfied with the faith, but whoever opens the heart for ungratefulness will get the wrath of Allah, and for them is a great punishment.
107 |
|
That is because they love (prefer) the life of this world over the hereafter, and indeed, Allah Does not guide the disbelieving people.
108 |
|
These are the people whose hearts, ears, and eyes are sealed by Allah, and they are inattentive.
109 |
|
Indeed, they are the ones who will be losers in the hereafter.
110 |
|
Then indeed, your Rabb for those who migrated after they were enticed, they struggled and remained patient; indeed, for them, your Rabb is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
111 |
|
On the day, every soul will come struggling with himself, and they will be wholly compensated for what they have performed and will not be unjustly treated.
112 |
|
And Allah gives an example of (inhabitants of) a town who have been peaceful and satisfied. Its food used to come comfortably from every place, and then they became ungrateful for the provisions of Allah. Then Allah made them taste the suffering of hunger and fear of what they invented.
113 |
|
And indeed, a messenger came to them, and from among them, they denied him and were seized by the punishment while they were unjust.
114 |
|
Then eat from what Allah has provided you with a clean lawful livelihood and thank Allah for His provisions if you only worship Him alone.
115 |
|
Indeed, prohibited on you the dead (dies itself), the blood, the meat of the pig and animal offered as a sacrifice for other than Allah, then whoever is forced without a desire and is not exceeding then indeed, Allah is Most Forgiving Most Merciful.
116 |
|
And do not say what you characterize with your tongues to lie about this is lawful and unlawful for you to fabricate on Allah the lie; indeed, those who invent on Allah the lie; will never be successful.
117 |
|
Little pleasure (for now) and (then) a painful punishment for them (later).
118 |
|
And on those Jews, We had prohibited what We have described to you before, and We were not unjust to them and, but they have been unfair to themselves.
119 |
|
Then your Rabb, for those who did evil out of ignorance and then repented and reformed. Indeed, your Rabb after that is The Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
120 |
|
Indeed, Ibrahim was a community in himself, leading the way of obedience to Allah, a true believer and not among those who made partners with Allah.
121 |
|
A thankful (being) for His favors, He (Allah) chose him and guided him towards a straight path.
122 |
|
And We gave him good in this world; indeed, he will be among the righteous in the hereafter.
123 |

Then We inspired this revelation on you to follow the religious community of Ibrahim, a true believer, and he was not among those who made partners with Allah.
124 |

The sabbath was made on them, but they differ; indeed, your Rabb will decide among them on the day of standing in what they have been contradicting.
125 |

Call towards the path of your Rabb with wisdom and excellent advice and discuss what is better. Indeed, your Rabb knows best about who is lost from His path and who is guided.
126 |

And if you follow (to pursue retaliation), then follow (retaliate) with the same, what you have observed, but if you become patient, that is best for those who are the patient.
127 |

And be patient, and your patience is only with Allah, and do not grieve on them and do not be in distress (anguished) about what they deceive.
128 |

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. This task would require a team of scholars to research the historical context and include the latest scientific proofs to explain the definitions and meanings backed by research references. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. Assalamualaikum! I would like to share a helpful tip with you. If you want to get the Romanized English version of Arabic text, you can use Google's translation feature. Simply copy the ayat and paste it into Google's translation from Arabic. The Romanized English words will appear below the Arabic ayat. This feature will be helpful for you, and you can also use the listen feature. Additionally, websites offering transliterated Romanized English Quran are available. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan!Response:
Assalamualaikum, Thank you for your inquiry. I have used the root for اتقوا as تَقَى; however, وَقَى, has the same meaning when used as a verb. If we use, “those who are afraid of Allah”, we can use وَقَى, as root words. If we use “those who are devout, and pious”, then we can use تَقَى, as the root word. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:
