||
||
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
1 |
|
Alif Laam Raa. These are the verses of the Wise Book.
2 |
|
Has this been for humankind, a surprise that We inspire a man among them: to "Warn the humankind and give the good news to those who believe that they are on a true footing with their Rabb (they arrived with the truth to their Rabb)."? The nonbelievers said, "Indeed, This is a clear magician."
3 |
|
Indeed, your Rabb is the One who created the universe and the earth in six periods, then He established Himself on the Throne and directs the plans to manage through His commands. No one can be the intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah for you, so worship Him. Will you not remember?
4 |
|
To Him, you will be returning altogether. A true promise from Allah. Indeed, He initiates the creation; then He repeats. To reward those who believed and did righteous deeds with justice. Those who did not believe will have hot drinks of boiling water and a painful punishment because they disbelieved.
5 |
|
He is the One who made the Sun a shine (ضِيَآءًۭ), and the Moon lighted (نُورًۭا) and decreed the positions of it, for you to know the counting of the years and the calculations. Allah did not create that, except with the truth (suitable, appropriate). He explains the signs for the nation who knows. [(Note. The sun is mentioned as a shine, a source of shine, and the Moon is mentioned as lighted or illuminated, not a light source. The surface temperature of the Sun: The sensitivity of the human eye to light is in the range of 400–700nm. i.e., the human eye uses optimal light from the Sun, and the atmosphere is similarly transparent for all frequencies in the visible range. We identify the maximum in Wien’s law with the center of the frequency range visible to the human eye. Thus we set ¸Wavelength max,~ 550 nm, and obtain T sun = 2.9 × 10^ 6 nm K /550nm ~ 5270K for the surface temperature of the Sun. The precise value of Sun Temperature = 5781K. CONCLUSION: The design of the Sun is such that it emits the same light waves that meet the design of eyes to see).(Ref. A Concise Introduction to Astrophysics – Lecture Notes for FY2450 – M.
|
Indeed, the difference between night and day (succession, change of day and night) and what Allah has created in the universe and the earth are signs for a God-fearing nation.
7 |
|
Indeed, those not looking forward to meeting with Us are satisfied with the world's life and feel secure with it, and they are inattentive to our signs.
8 |
|
Their final resting place is the Fire because of what they have been earning.
9 |
|
As for those who believe and perform righteous deeds, their Rabb guides them in their faith. Rivers will flow beneath them in the Gardens of Bliss.
10 |
|
Their prayer in it will be, “Glory be to You, O Allah,” and their greeting in it will be, “Peace.” And they conclude with prayer, “Praise be to Allah, Rabb of the worlds.”
11 |
|
If Allah were to hasten the evil (punishment) for people as they hasten for good, their term would have been completed for them. We leave those not looking forward to meeting with Us wandering in their tyranny.
12 |
|
And when harm touches a man, he calls Us from his sides, sitting or standing. But when We remove his harm from him, he passes by, as he has never called Us (before for help) to (remove) the harm that had touched him. This is how deeds are decorated for the immoderately wasteful.
13 |
|
We had destroyed the associates (generations) before you when they were unjust. Their Messengers came to them with clear proof, but they did not believe. That is how We compensate the nation of criminals.
14 |
|
Then after them, We made you the successors in the earth for Us to see how you perform.
15 |
|
And when Our verses are recited to them, those not looking forward to meeting with Us say, “Bring a Quran other than this, or change it.” Say, “It is not for me that I change what is in front of me to my own accord (I cannot change to meet my wishes). I only follow what has inspired me. I fear the punishment of a terrible Day if I disobey my Rabb.”
16 |
|
Say, “If Allah desired, I would not have recited this (Quran) to you, and He would not have made you understand this (Quran). Indeed, I have lived among you for an age (lifetime) before this. Do you not understand?” (a teacher never taught Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), and he never produced any book before Quran (he was not a writer) and this ayah indicates that Quran is from Allah).
17 |
|
Then who is more unjust than him who fabricates a lie about Allah or denies His verses? Indeed, those criminals will never benefit.
18 |
|
And they worship, besides Allah, that does not harm them nor benefit them. And they say, “These are our intercessors near Allah.” Say, “Are you informing Allah with what (something) He does not know in the universe and the earth?” All Praise is to Him; He is above what you make partners with.
19 |
|
And it was only that humankind was a single nation; then they differed. And if it were not of a previous word (decision) from your Rabb, it would have been decided among them in what they were disputing.
20 |
|
And they say, “If only a sign were sent down on him (Prophet Mohammad ﷺ ) from his Rabb.” Then tell them, “But, the Unseen (decision for a sign) is for Allah; so, wait, I am waiting with you.”
21 |
|
When We let the men experience mercy after harm touches (the rain after a drought), they have a scheme of clever plots against our signs-verses (to deny signs). Say, “Allah is quicker (faster) to scheme clever plots.” Our messengers (angels) write what you plot (scheme). .
22 |
|
He is the one who makes you travel (dispatches, sends, makes it feasible to travel) on land and sea until, when you are on the ship that moves with a pleasant wind, you become happy. And (then) comes upon it a raging storm of winds. The waves come to them from all places (sides), and they realize they are surrounded (by waves). They call Allah faithfully devoted to Him in (believing) His religion: “If You rescue us from this, we will be among the thankful.”
23 |
|
And when He rescued them, they transgressed unjustly in the land. O people, your transgression is only against yourselves. (It is only) the enjoyment of this world. After that, you will return to Us, and We will inform you of what you have been doing.
24 |
|
But the example of the life of this world is like this: We send down water from the sky, then it gets absorbed by the earth's vegetation, from which humankind and the livestock eat. Until the earth began its decoration (cultivated farmland) and was adorned with beauty, people thought that they had control over it (control over harvesting) (then). Our command descends upon it by night or morning, and We make it into a heap as if the harvest had not flourished the day before (there was no harvest). That is how we explain signs-verses for the nation who think.
25 |
|
Allah calls you to the home of peace and guides whomever He desires towards a straight path.
26 |
|
Those who did better (did more good deeds) will have the best outcome and more (reward). And their faces will not be burdened (they will not suffer) with poverty or humiliation (they will not suffer from any inadequacy or insufficiency). These are the companions of paradise, and they will live there forever.
27 |
|
As for those who earned sins (misdeeds, evil): their reward will be similar to their sins (transgressions, evil): and they will be burdened with humiliation. They will have no one to protect them from Allah. It is as if their faces were veiled by the darkness of the night. Those are the companions of the Fire, and they will live there forever.
28 |
|
On the Day when We gather them all together, We will say to those who make partners, “Stay at your places, you and your partners.” Then We will separate them, and their partners will say, “You were not worshipping us.”
29 |
|
“Sufficient is Allah, as A Witness between you and us. We have been inattentive (unaware) of your worshipping.”
30 |
|
Every soul will be tested on what he has preceded (sent in advance in the past), and they will return to Allah, their True Master, and what they fabricated (lied) will be lost from them. (they will fail the test).
31 |
|
Say, “Who provides you sustenance (feeds you, everything you see) from the sky and the earth? And who is the owner (designer, creator of sound, listening, light, seeing, etc.) for listening and seeing? And who brings out the life from the dead and brings out the dead from the living? And who plans the commands?” Then they will say, “Allah.” Then, say, “Why do you not fear Him?”
32 |
|
Therefore, That One is Allah for you, your True Rabb (This is the Truth). What is after the Truth, but only falsehood? Then where do you turn away?
33 |
|
That is how the Words of your Rabb proved truth (fitted, fulfilled) on those who were immoral (who disobeyed) because they would not believe.
34 |

Say, “Who amongst your partners starts creation and then repeats it?” Say, “Allah starts creation, and then He repeats it. Then where do you separate?” [(NOTE: In molecular biology, DNA replication is the biological process of producing two identical replicas of DNA from one original DNA molecule. DNA replication occurs in all living organisms acting as the most essential part for biological inheritance. This is essential for cell division during growth and repair of damaged tissues, while it also ensures that each of the new cells receives its own copy of the DNA. The cell possesses the distinctive property of division, which makes replication of DNA essential. DNA is made up of a double helix of two complementary strands. The double helix describes the appearance of a double-stranded DNA which is thus composed of two linear strands that run opposite to each other and twist together to form. During replication, these strands are separated. Each strand of the original DNA molecule then serves as a template for the production of its counterpart, a process referred to as semiconservative replication. As a result of semi-conservative replication, the new helix will be composed of an original DNA strand as well as a newly synthesized strand. Cellular proofreading and error-checking mechanisms ensure near-perfect fidelity for DNA replication.REF Wikipepdia)].

Say, “Who amongst your partners guides you to the truth?” Say, “Allah Guides to the truth. Is He who Guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or who does not guide unless guided? What is the matter with you? How do you decide?”
36 |

Many follow only their suppositions (speculations), and suppositions (speculations, superstitions) are useless against the truth in anything. Indeed, Allah Knows All that they do.
37 |
|
This Koran is not fabricated by anyone other than Allah. It verifies what is in front of them (in the scriptures) and explains the Book. There is no doubt that it is from Rabb of the universe.
38 |

Do they say, “He (Prophet) has fabricated it?” Say, “Then bring a chapter like it, and call whoever is in your capacity, other than Allah, if you have been truthful.”
39 |
|
But (In fact), they lie because they do not understand (perceive, or comprehend) its information, and (also) when interpretation (of this Book) comes to them. That is how those before them (also) lied. So, see how the penalty is (justified) for the unjust.
40 |

Among those who believe in it and among those who do not believe in it, Allah knows the corrupt.

And if they lie to you (claim that you are not a Messenger), then say, “For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are absolved from what I do, and I am absolved from what you do.”
42 |

And among them are those who listen to you. So, can you make the deaf hear, even if they do not understand?
43 |
|
And among them are those who see you. So, can you guide the blind, even if they do not see?
44 |

Allah Does not wrong mankind in anything, but mankind wrongs itself.
45 |
|
On the day, He will gather them like they had a shortstop of time in the morning (lifespan in this world is tiny in comparison to the life of hereafter) (and then) they will come to know (recognize) each other. Those who denied meeting Allah have already lost. They were not the guided ones.
46 |
|
Whether We show you (in your life) some of that We have promised to them, or We cause you to die (before you see their punishment), (know that) to Us is their return. Allah is a witness to what they have been doing.
47 |
|
For every generation, there is a Messenger. When their messenger comes, judgment is justly decided between them, and they will not be unjustly treated.
48 |
|
And they ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled if you should be truthful?"
49 |
|
Say, “I do not own (means to do) harm to myself or benefit, except what Allah desires. For every nation, there is a fixed time. When their time comes, it is not delayed a moment and not moved up.”
50 |
|
Say, "Do you see? If His punishment will come to you in the night or the morning, what are the criminals hurrying?". (What would the criminals do by hastening it?").
51 |
|
"Will you believe in this after when it happens? Now? You were asking to hurry it before"?. (You were asking to expedite the punishment).
52 |
|
Then it will be said to unjust people, “Taste the punishment of eternity. Are you not being rewarded except with what you have earned?”
53 |
|
And they ask you to inform, “Is it true?” Say, “Yes, by my Rabb, it is the absolute truth, and you are powerless (unable to escape from Him).”
54 |
|
Every soul, who has done wrong, whatever is on the earth, would have ransomed it. They would secretly regret (secretly feel remorse) when they see the punishment, and it will be decided between them justly, and they will not be treated unjustly.
55 |
|
Oh Yes, (Is it not that) Indeed, For Allah is whatever is in the universe and the earth. Oh Yes, (Is it, not that) Indeed, the promise of Allah is the truth. But many of them do not know.
56 |

He is the one who gives life and brings death, and to Him, you will return.
57 |

O you humankind! Advise (Warning) already came to you from your Rabb, healing for what is in the hearts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.
58 |

Say, "With Allah's Favors and Mercy, they should be happy with this. That is better than what they gather."
59 |

Say, “Do you see what provisions Allah has sent down for you, then (some of which) you made forbidden, and (some) lawful?” Say, “Did Allah give you permission, or did you fabricate a lie about Allah?”
60 |
|
And what do they speculate about their fabrication of lies about Allah on the day of standing? Allah is full of giving favors to humankind (He gave us eyes, ears, speaking, taste, movement, touch, thinking, smell, and countless benefits in His creations to benefit humanity), but many of them do not (even think to) give thanks (To Allah).
61 |
|
You are not engaged in any matter (business, circumstances, etc.), nor do you read from the Quran, nor do you perform tasks, but We are with you as a witness when you delegate authority (for tasks). Nothing escapes from your Rabb, not even the weight of an atom, in the earth or the sky, and nothing is neither smaller nor bigger but is in a clear record.
62 |

Indeed, those close to Allah should have no fear and will not be grieved.
63 |

Those who believe and they are God-fearing.

There is good news for them in this worldly life and the hereafter. Nothing changes the Words of Allah, which is a tremendous success.
65 |

Their words should not cause you grief. All honor belongs to Allah. He is All-Listening and All-Knowing.
66 |

Truly, whoever is in the universe and whoever is in the earth belongs to Allah. Those who call, besides Allah, partners (that they have set up with Allah) follow only their conjectures and guesses.
67 |

He is the One Who made the night for your tranquility (nights are darker and cooler for the body to rest) and the day for seeing (perceive, discern). Those signs are indeed for a nation that listens.
68 |

They say, “Allah has taken a son.” Praise be to Him. He is above any need (including having any need for a son). To Him belongs whatever is in the universe and the earth (He Already Owns everything, so why would you think he needs to add a son). Is there any proof with you for this? (Is there any proof that Essa is a son of God?). Or do you say on Allah what you do not know?
69 |

Say, “Those who fabricate lies on Allah they will not prosper (be successful).”

Enjoyment in this world, then towards Us is their return; then We will make them taste the severe punishment because they were ungrateful.

And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his nation, “O my nation, if my standing (on reformation) and my remembrance (recitation) of verses-signs of Allah are intolerable to you, then on Allah, I trust. So, put together your decisions (tasks against me, put together conspiracies), and (join) your partners, and do not let your decisions grieve you (satisfy yourself that you have done all you could to work against me); then carry out (what you decide) against me, and do not give me any respite.”
72 |

“So, if you turn away, I did not ask you for any reward (payment). My reward is only on Allah, and I am commanded to be of those who are Muslims.”

Then (but) they denied him, so, We rescued him and whoever was with him in the ship, and We made them successors, and We drowned those who rejected our signs-verses. So, look at the punishment of those who were warned.
74 |

After sending him, we dispatched messengers to their people. They came to them with clear proof but they did not believe what they had previously rejected. That is how We put seals on the hearts of the transgressors.
75 |

Then, after them, we sent Musa and Aaron with our signs to Firon and his chiefs. Then (but) they became arrogant and were a nation of criminals.
76 |
|
Then, when the Truth (evidence, fact, reality) from Us came to them, they said, “Indeed, this is the clear magic.”
77 |
|
Musa said, “Do you say this (you say this is magic) to the truth when it comes to you? Is this magic? (does it even look like magic?). And magicians do not prosper.”
78 |
|
They said, “Did you come to entice us (lure us away) what we found our forefathers do, and so that you both will become elegant in the earth (will have pride in the land)? And we will not be believers for you.”
79 |
|
And Firoin said, “Bring me every magician with knowledge.”
80 |
|
Then when the magicians came, Moses said to them, “Throw down whatever you have to throw (cast).”
81 |

And when they threw down, Musa said, “What you brought (here) is magic, and Allah will make it invalid. Indeed, Allah does not make it right the work of those who cause corruption (cause evil).”
82 |

“And Allah enforces His words to be true, so the truth will prevail, even though the criminals hate it.”
83 |

But nobody believed Musa except descendants of his (Musa's) nation because of fear from Firon and his chiefs that they would torment them. Indeed, Firon made themselves a high-ranking (elevated, upper class) on the earth, and he was from the immoderate excessive.
84 |

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Kamran Shaikh, Thank you for your valuable advice on adding a Quranic Lexicon to increase the understanding of the Quran. We have already included a few references, such as the supernova explosion with the plasma jet stream in Surah Tariq. We invite interested audiences with expertise in the scientific community to establish a committee and work together to publish a Qur'anic Lexicon to improve our understanding of the Al-Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who received the Glorious Al-Quran. Walakum Assalam, Fahad, Appreciate your comment. The root words are normally listed in separate alphabets, but the reader of the Quran will not easily identify the words of Quranic Ayats. The Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA shows the root word most closely listed in written forms. Checking in the dictionary on pp-371, the word used is صِرَاط with the meanings of way and path. The word for ارض is shown as أَرَض. The word wrapping sometimes becomes a problem in the data and should be ارض. There are a few words that will be updated to be the same as shown in the dictionary. We will keep updating the root words as shown in the dictionary. Originally the work was developed in excel with the link function and find function of root words in the Quran. Now we have used SQL to upload the files. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good.”Response:

Assalam U Alaikum Qurat ul ain Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your comment. The root word and meaning of the word نَزَغَ is not listed in the Arabic English University Dictionary of the Modern Literary Language Compiled and Arranged by MAAN ZULFI MADINA. However, the online dictionary (https://www.arabdict.com/ar/english-arabic) shows the meaning as incitement to evil. Hope this answers your question.
