|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًۭا﴿1﴾لا |
رَسِلَ,
|
| By the dispatching of known (winds). | ||
| 2 |
فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًۭا﴿2﴾لا |
عَصَفَ,
|
| The blasting (winds) of the violent storms. | ||
| 3 |
وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا﴿3﴾لا |
نَشَرَ,
|
| By the spreading of scattered. | ||
| 4 |
فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًۭا﴿4﴾لا |
فَرَقَ,
|
| The separation of separate. | ||
| 5 |
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا﴿5﴾لا |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| The recitation (encounter) of remembrance. | ||
| 6 |
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا﴿6﴾لا |
عَذَرَ,
|
| Forgiveness or warning (This Quran can serve as either a source of forgiveness and a warning of punishment for humankind). | ||
| 7 |
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ﴿7﴾ط |
وَعَدَ,
|
| Surely, what you are being promised, will occur. | ||
| 8 |
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ﴿8﴾لا |
نَجَمَ,
|
| Then when the stars are extinct (obscured). | ||
| 9 |
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ﴿9﴾لا |
سَمَا,
|
| And when the sky is split open. | ||
| 10 |
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ﴿10﴾لا |
جَبَلَ,
|
| And when the mountains are blown away. | ||
| 11 |
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ﴿11﴾ط |
رَسِلَ,
|
| And when the appointed time of the Messengers (to testify) arrives. | ||
| 12 |
لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ﴿12﴾ط |
يَوْم,
|
| For what day was the deadline? (What day was it postponed?). | ||
| 13 |
لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ﴿13﴾ج |
يَوْم,
|
| For the Day of the (Final) Decision. | ||
| 14 |
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ﴿14﴾ط |
دَرَك,
|
| What do you understand that is the Day of the (Final) Decision? | ||
| 15 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿15﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for those who are liars. | ||
| 16 |
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿16﴾ط |
هَلَكَ,
|
| Have We not destroyed the earlier (previous generations)? | ||
| 17 |
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿17﴾ |
أخر,
|
| Then We subsequently brought the others (later generations). | ||
| 18 |
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿18﴾ |
جَرَمَ,
|
| That is how We deal with criminals. | ||
| 19 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿19﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 20 |
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ﴿20﴾لا |
مَهَنَ,
|
| Have We not created you from the degraded liquid? | ||
| 21 |
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ﴿21﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| Then We made a safe place for it? | ||
| 22 |
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ﴿22﴾لا |
عَلِمَ,
|
| To a known extent. | ||
| 23 |
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ﴿23﴾ |
نَعَمَ,
|
| We have measured precisely. What an excellent evaluator. | ||
| 24 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿24﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 25 |
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا﴿25﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| Have We not made the earth sufficient enough (to sustain life)? | ||
| 26 |
أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا﴿26﴾لا |
حي,
|
| (For the) living and dead? | ||
| 27 |
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا﴿27﴾ط |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And We made mountains in it, rooted, and rising high, and We provided (through storing in the mountains) drinks of sweet water. | ||
| 28 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿28﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 29 |
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ﴿29﴾ج |
كَذَبَ,
|
| “Set forth (depart) towards what you have been denying.” | ||
| 30 |
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ﴿30﴾لا |
ظَلَّ,
|
| “Set forth (depart) to the shade with three branches.” | ||
| 31 |
لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ﴿31﴾ط |
ظَلَّ,
|
| Offering no shade and useless against the Blaze. | ||
| 32 |
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ﴿32﴾ج |
رَمَى,
|
| It throws sparks (blazes) like the castles. | ||
| 33 |
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ﴿33﴾ط |
صُفْر,
|
| Like they are yellow camels. | ||
| 34 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿34﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 35 |
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ﴿35﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| This is a day they do not speak. | ||
| 36 |
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ﴿36﴾ |
عَذَرَ,
|
| And they will not be permitted to make excuses. | ||
| 37 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿37﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 38 |
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿38﴾ |
يَوْم,
|
| This is the Day of the (Final) Decision; We gathered you and the earlier ones. | ||
| 39 |
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ﴿39﴾ |
كَيدَ,
|
| And if you have a conspiracy, do (bring the) conspiracy against Me. | ||
| 40 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿40﴾1ع |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 41 |
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ﴿41﴾لا |
تَقَى,
|
| The devoted (God-fearing) will be in the shades and springs. | ||
| 42 |
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ﴿42﴾ط |
فَكِهَ,
|
| And fruits from what they desire. | ||
| 43 |
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴿43﴾ |
عَمِلَ,
|
| “Eat and drink happily because of what you used to do.” | ||
| 44 |
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿44﴾ |
حَسَنَ,
|
| This is how We reward the beneficent. | ||
| 45 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿45﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 46 |
كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ﴿46﴾ |
جَرَمَ,
|
| “Eat and enjoy a little; indeed, you are criminals.” | ||
| 47 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿47﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 48 |
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ﴿48﴾ |
رَكَعَ,
|
| And when they are told to “Bow down,” they do not bow down. | ||
| 49 |
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿49﴾ |
وَيْل,
|
| Calamity on that Day for the liars. | ||
| 50 |
فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿50﴾2ع |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| In what news, after this, will they believe? |
