سورة المدثر - 74 - |

|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْمُدَّثِّرُ﴿1﴾لا |
دَثَرَ,
|
| "O you, who have covered yourself with a garment." | ||
| 2 |
قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ﴿2﴾ص لا |
نَذَرَ,
|
| Stand up and then warn. | ||
| 3 |
وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ﴿3﴾ص لا |
كَبَرَ,
|
| "And admire your Rabb in His Greatness." | ||
| 4 |
وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ﴿4﴾ص لا |
ثَابَ,
|
| And keep your clothes clean. | ||
| 5 |
وَٱلرُّجْزَ فَٱهْجُرْ﴿5﴾ص لا |
رَجَزَ,
|
| And keep apart from the uncleanness. | ||
| 6 |
وَلَا تَمْنُن تَسْتَكْثِرُ﴿6﴾ص لا |
مَنَا,
|
| And do not perform favors to ask for more (do not ask for worldly return). | ||
| 7 |
وَلِرَبِّكَ فَٱصْبِرْ﴿7﴾ط |
صَبَرَ,
|
| And be patient with your Rabb. | ||
| 8 |
فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِى ٱلنَّاقُورِ﴿8﴾لا |
نَقَرَ,
|
| When the calamity strikes (Trumpet is blown). | ||
| 9 |
فَذَٰلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ﴿9﴾لا |
يَوْم,
|
| Then that will be a hard (difficult) day. | ||
| 10 |
عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍۢ﴿10﴾ |
يَسَرَ,
|
| For the nonbelievers, it will not be easy. | ||
| 11 |
ذَرْنِى وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيدًۭا﴿11﴾لا |
وَذَرَ,
|
| Leave Me and whoever I Created alone. | ||
| 12 |
وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُۥ مَالًۭا مَّمْدُودًۭا﴿12﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And Gave him expanded wealth. | ||
| 13 |
وَبَنِينَ شُهُودًۭا﴿13﴾لا |
اِبْن,
|
| And children being present. | ||
| 14 |
وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمْهِيدًۭا﴿14﴾لا |
مَهْد,
|
| "And made (life) an easy and prepared place for him to rest." | ||
| 15 |
ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ﴿15﴾ق لا |
طَمِعَ,
|
| Then he desires that it gets increased! | ||
| 16 |
كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِـَٔايَٰتِنَا عَنِيدًۭا﴿16﴾ط |
آ ىي -آية,
|
| Never! He used to oppose Our signs (verses) stubbornly. | ||
| 17 |
سَأُرْهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا﴿17﴾ط |
رَهِقَ,
|
| Soon, he will be made to suffer rising (punishment). | ||
| 18 |
إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ﴿18﴾لا |
فَكُرَ,
|
| Indeed, he deliberated and implied (appraised he would not be punished). | ||
| 19 |
فَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ﴿19﴾لا |
قَتَلَ,
|
| So, he is to be destroyed (because) of how he implied. | ||
| 20 |
ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ﴿20﴾لا |
قَتَلَ,
|
| Again: he is to be destroyed, as he implied. | ||
| 21 |
ثُمَّ نَظَرَ﴿21﴾لا |
نَظَرَ,
|
| Then he contemplated. | ||
| 22 |
ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ﴿22﴾لا |
عَبَسَ,
|
| Then he frowned and scolded (whined). | ||
| 23 |
ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ﴿23﴾لا |
كَبَرَ,
|
| Then he turned away and was proud. | ||
| 24 |
فَقَالَ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ يُؤْثَرُ﴿24﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| Then he said, “This is only smooth magic. | ||
| 25 |
إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا قَوْلُ ٱلْبَشَرِ﴿25﴾ط |
قَالَ,
|
| This is just a word from the man.” | ||
| 26 |
سَأُصْلِيهِ سَقَرَ﴿26﴾ |
صَلَى,
|
| Soon I will burn him in Hell. | ||
| 27 |
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سَقَرُ﴿27﴾ط |
دَرَك,
|
| And what do you realize? What is hell? | ||
| 28 |
لَا تُبْقِى وَلَا تَذَرُ﴿28﴾ج |
بَقِىَ,
|
| Nothing remains, and nothing is left. | ||
| 29 |
لَوَّاحَةٌۭ لِّلْبَشَرِ﴿29﴾ج صلے |
بَشَر,
|
| Flames for the man. | ||
| 30 |
عَلَيْهَا تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ﴿30﴾ط |
عَشَرَ,
|
| On it, there are nineteen (angels as guards). | ||
| 31 |
وَمَا جَعَلْنَآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةًۭ ۙ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَيَزْدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِيمَٰنًۭا ۙ وَلَا يَرْتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۙ وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللّٰهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلًۭا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللّٰهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَمَا هِىَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْبَشَرِ﴿31﴾1ع |
أَ مُنَ,
|
| We did not make any owners (wardens) of the Fire except angels, and We made their count (number) for testing of those who did not believe; so, that those, given the Book, may attain certainty; and it increases the faith of the believers, and not to be doubtful for those who are given the Book and the believers; and those who have sickness in their hearts and the nonbelievers will say, “What is it that Allah desires with this example?” That is how Allah leaves misguided whom He Desires and guides whom He Desires. Nobody knows your Rabb's army except Him. This is nothing but a remembrance for man. | ||
| 32 |
كَلَّا وَٱلْقَمَرِ﴿32﴾لا |
قَمَرَ,
|
| Nay! By the moon. | ||
| 33 |
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذْ أَدْبَرَ﴿33﴾لا |
دَبَرَ,
|
| And by the night as it elapses (bygone of time). | ||
| 34 |
وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَآ أَسْفَرَ﴿34﴾لا |
صَبُحَ,
|
| And the morning as it removes the veil (shines). | ||
| 35 |
إِنَّهَا لَإِحْدَى ٱلْكُبَرِ﴿35﴾لا |
أ حد,
|
| Indeed, this is one of the greatest. | ||
| 36 |
نَذِيرًۭا لِّلْبَشَرِ﴿36﴾لا |
نَذَرَ,
|
| A warning for humankind. | ||
| 37 |
لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوْ يَتَأَخَّرَ﴿37﴾ط |
شِاءَ,
|
| For whomever among you wish that he precedes (goes ahead) or stays behind. | ||
| 38 |
كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ رَهِينَةٌ﴿38﴾لا |
نَفُسَ,
|
| Every soul is held hostage to what he has earned. | ||
| 39 |
إِلَّآ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿39﴾ط ۛ |
يَمَنَ,
|
| Except for companions of the right. | ||
| 40 |
فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ﴿40﴾لا |
جَنَّ,
|
| In Gardens, asking each other. | ||
| 41 |
عَنِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿41﴾لا |
جَرَمَ,
|
| About the criminals. | ||
| 42 |
مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِى سَقَرَ﴿42﴾ |
سَلَكَ,
|
| “What has made you enter Hell?” | ||
| 43 |
قَالُوا۟ لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ ٱلْمُصَلِّينَ﴿43﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| They will say, “We were not used to being among those who prayed. | ||
| 44 |
وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ ٱلْمِسْكِينَ﴿44﴾لا |
طَعِمَ,
|
| Nor were we feeding the poor. | ||
| 45 |
وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلْخَآئِضِينَ﴿45﴾لا |
خَاضَ,
|
| And we used to indulge with those who became engaged in vain discussions. | ||
| 46 |
وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ﴿46﴾لا |
كَذَبَ,
|
| And we used to deny the Day of Final Judgment. | ||
| 47 |
حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰنَا ٱلْيَقِينُ﴿47﴾ط |
أَتَى,
|
| Until it came to us with certainty.” | ||
| 48 |
فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمْ شَفَٰعَةُ ٱلشَّٰفِعِينَ﴿48﴾ط |
نَفَعَ,
|
| Then the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. | ||
| 49 |
فَمَا لَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلتَّذْكِرَةِ مُعْرِضِينَ﴿49﴾لا |
عَرُضَ,
|
| Then what is with them that they are among those who turn away from the remembrance? | ||
| 50 |
كَأَنَّهُمْ حُمُرٌۭ مُّسْتَنفِرَةٌۭ﴿50﴾لا |
حمر,
|
| Like they are scared donkeys. | ||
| 51 |
فَرَّتْ مِن قَسْوَرَةٍۭ﴿51﴾ط |
قَسَا,
|
| Running away from the lion (forced)? | ||
| 52 |
بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُؤْتَىٰ صُحُفًۭا مُّنَشَّرَةًۭ﴿52﴾لا |
رَادَ,
|
| Yet everyone among them wants to be given an open book (like Prophets). | ||
| 53 |
كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا يَخَافُونَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ﴿53﴾ط |
خَافَ,
|
| Certainly not! But they do not have a fear of the Hereafter. | ||
| 54 |
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذْكِرَةٌۭ﴿54﴾ج |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| No, indeed, this is a remembrance. | ||
| 55 |
فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ﴿55﴾ط |
شِاءَ,
|
| So, whoever desires, this is for him to remember. | ||
| 56 |
وَمَا يَذْكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ ۚ هُوَ أَهْلُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَأَهْلُ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ﴿56﴾2ع |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And they do not remember, except that Allah desires; he is from the group of the devoted (God-fearing) and the group of the forgiven. |
