||
||
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1 |
|
O, you covered (wrapped in garment) yourself.
2 |
|
Stand up and then warn. | ||
3 |
|
And admire your Rabb in Greatness.
4 |
|
And cleanse your clothes.
5 |
|
And separate from the uncleanness.
6 |
|
And do not do favors to ask for more (in return).
7 |
|
And be patient with your Rabb.
8 |
|
When the calamity will strike (Trumpet is blown).
9 |
|
Then that will be a hard (difficult) day.
10 |
|
On the nonbelievers, it will not be easy.
11 |
|
Leave Me and whoever I created alone.
12 |
|
And gave him expanded wealth.
13 |
|
And children being present.
14 |
|
And made an easy (prepared) place for him to rest.
15 |
|
Then he desires that it gets increased!
16 |
|
Never! He used to oppose Our signs (verses) stubbornly.
17 |
|
Soon, he will be made to suffer rising (punishment).
18 |
|
Indeed, he deliberated and implied (appraised he will not be punished).
19 |
|
So, he is to be destroyed (because) how he implied.
20 |
|
Again: he is to be destroyed, how he implied.
21 |
|
Then he contemplated. | ||
22 |
|
Then he frowned and scolded (whined).
23 |
|
Then he turned away and was proud.
24 |
|
Then he said, “This is only smooth magic.
25 |
|
This is a word only of the man.”
26 |
|
Soon I will burn him in Hell.
27 |
|
And what do you realize? What is hell?
28 |
|
Nothing remains, and nothing is left.
29 |
|
Flames for the man. | ||
30 |
|
On it, there are nineteen (angels as guards).
31 |
|
We did not make any keepers of the Fire except angels, and We made their count for testing of those who did not believe; so, that those believing were given the Book may attain certainty; and it increases the faith of the believers, and not to be doubtful for those who are given the Book and the believers; and those who have sickness in their hearts and the nonbelievers will say, “What is it that Allah desires with this example?” That is how Allah leaves misguided whom He wants and guides whom He wants. Nobody knows the army of your Rabb except Him. This is nothing but a remembrance for man.
32 |
|
Nay! By the moon. | ||
33 |
|
And by the night as it elapses (bygone of time).
34 |
|
And the morning as it removes the veil (shines).
35 |
|
Indeed, this is one of the greatest.
36 |
|
A warning for the humankind.
37 |
|
For whomever among you wish that he precedes (goes ahead) or stays behind.
38 |
|
Every soul is held hostage to what he has earned.
39 |
|
Except companions of the right.
40 |
|
In Gardens, asking each other.
41 |
|
About the criminals. | ||
42 |
|
“What has made you enter in Hell?”
43 |
|
They will say, “We were not used to being among those who prayed.
44 |
|
Nor were we feeding the poor.
45 |
|
And we used to indulge with those who became engaged in vain discussions.
46 |
|
And we used to deny the Day of Final Judgment.
47 |
|
Until it came to us with certainty.”
48 |
|
Then the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them.
49 |
|
Then what is with them that they are among those who turn away from the remembrance?
50 |
|
Like they are scared donkeys.
51 |
|
Running away from the lion (forced)?
52 |
|
Yet every person among them wants to be given an open book (like Prophets).
53 |
|
Certainly not! But they do not have fear of the Hereafter.
54 |
|
Nevertheless, Indeed, this is a remembrance.
55 |
|
So, whoever desires, this is for him to remember.
56 |
|
And who is to remember, except Allah desires for him; he was from the family of the God-fearing and the family of the forgiven? |
