Indeed, We gave you a clear victory. (The conquest of Mecca (Arabic: فتح مكة‎ fatḥ Makkah) was the conquering of the town of Mecca by Muslims led by Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎ (ṣallā llāhu ʿalayhī wa-ʾālihī wa-sallama) in December 629 or January 630 AD (Julian), 10–20 Ramadan, 8 AH. The conquest marked the end of the wars between the Muslims, followers of Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎ (ṣallā llāhu ʿalayhī wa-ʾālihī wa-sallama) and the Quraysh tribe).

Say, “Never will you follow us; this is what Allah has said for you before.” Then they will say, “But you are jealous of us.” But they only understand a little.

Allah was pleased with the believers when they were taking oath under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts and He sent down peace upon them and rewarded them with victory in the near future. (The Pledge of the Tree (Arabic: بيعة الشجرة‎ bayʻat ash-shajarah) or Pledge of Satisfaction (Arabic: بيعة الرضوان bayʻat ar-riḍwān) or Pledge of Ridwan was a pledge that was sworn to the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ‎ (ṣallā llāhu ʿalayhī wa-ʾālihī wa-sallama) by his Sahaba (companions) prior to the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah (6 AH, 628 CE). The pledge, sworn under a tree, was to avenge the rumoured death of Uthman bin Affan).

It helped to decrease tension between the two cities, affirmed peace for a period of 9 years, 9 months, and 9 days, and authorized Muhammad's followers to return the following year in a peaceful pilgrimage, later known as The First Pilgrimage )

Muhammad is the Messenger of God. Those with him are stern against the nonbelievers yet compassionate amongst themselves. You see them kneeling, prostrating, seeking blessings from Allah and acceptance. Their marks are on their faces from the effects of prostration. Such is their description in the Torah, and their description in the Gospel: like a plant that sprouts, becomes strong, grows thick, and rests on its stem, impressing the farmers. Through them He enrages the nonbelievers. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good deeds, forgiveness, and a great reward.

Mashaa Allah may Allah rewards you for the great works. Is it possible if it also contains arabic to arabic dictionary and perhaps later we can also do the etimology study of each of the quranic words original meaning

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Luqman Abdurahman We received the Message of Al-Quran from Prophet Muhammed Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam : صلى الله عليه و سلم also ﷺ) . WHAT WE READ IN AL-QURAN ARE WORDS of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta`ala, الله سبحانه وتعالى FROM WISEST AND GREATEST MAN ON THE EARTH and this is our blessing in our life that we received the Guidance, and Thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. We need to understand the meanings of each word and context of the Ayahs. We appreciate your recommendation and will try to add the etymology of words. We need the help of readers like you to further advance this website. Please let us know if you find any mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. Jazaka Allahu Khairan: ًجزاك اللهُ خيرا “May Allah reward you with good”

Its a stunning work. i am learning arabic and deeply interested to speak fluently. If you can provide the linking pages as text reference, will be a great boon for us. through that we can also search for any words that appear in texts and refer back to the root. it is also the reverse way. But now the linked dictionary pages are in pdf or image only ref. But thanks very much for this wonderful work. Ifyou can make a tool out of it..we can contribute to it as i know time is spent very much on it.

Response:

Assalamu’alaikum Babu, It is our blessing from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, that He sent us His Great Messenger, Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu hu Alaihi Wassalam, with Quran. It is Guidance for our lives. We must understand, each word of Quran, and ask for His guidance, Forgiveness and Acceptance. We thank you for your comments of encouragement. We want to keep the dictionary in original format, and the great work done by author Maan Zulfi Madina and Columbia University. We do have plan to digitize the dictionary later if the permission is granted. Please continue to use the website and send us recommendations. Please share the website with others. Jazakallah

Salam - For the last 10 years I have been searching for a similar tool that can connect the Quranic ayats with their root words. This is a revolutionary tool that truly fulfils the gap in understanding that existed between the meaning and spirt of each ayat. After gaining this deeper level of understanding the process of reading quran becomes a process which is a dialogue between your soul and Allah. Now i understand why this message was such a transformational tool in the lives of sahaba since they understood the root meaning of quranic ayats. I feel like this is the need of the hour and this tool will truly helps us in establishing and connecting back to our true ibrahimic roots. I would like to send my deepest gratitude to team behind this master piece.May the ummah benefit from this revolutionary tool.

Walakum Assalam, Waleed, We received the Message of Al-Quran from Prophet Muhammad Salla-Allahu Alayhi Wasallam, and this is our blessing in our life, and to Thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. All we can do is to try understanding His Message and ask for His Forgiveness. Your comments were encouraging; we are working on the next phase of update where we will add few more words and few corrections, along with links of dictionary pages enabled, just by hovering over the Ayats. Please let us know if you find any mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. JAK.

Salam - JazakAllahu Khairan for operating this website. It is very helpful in learning the root words that are associated with the ayats of the quran. I noticed today that the links to the dictionary are not working. I am not sure if it is only me who is seeing this or others are experiencing the same issue. Regards

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Kashif The Website is working good, sometimes the links takes time to respond and open the page of the dictionary. If you wait or login again it should resolve the issue. Keep us informed if you find that word links are not responding. We are working on upgrades where each word will be directly linked to Dictionary. JAK
