سورة الصافات - 37 - |
||
|
بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
||
| In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate | ||
| 1 |
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّۭا﴿1﴾لا |
صَفَّ,
|
| By those aligned in rows. | ||
| 2 |
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًۭا﴿2﴾لا |
زَجَرَ,
|
| Then those (who) restrain and limit. | ||
| 3 |
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا﴿3﴾لا |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| Then the remembrance is recited. | ||
| 4 |
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌۭ﴿4﴾ط |
إِله,
|
| Indeed, Your Rabb is surely One. | ||
| 5 |
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ﴿5﴾ط |
سَمَا,
|
| Rabb of the universe and the earth and everything in between them and the Rabb of the East and West (Eastern, the place of rising, the world is round, so all places on earth become east, at some point during a day of the rotation of the whole world, Rabb of the entire world). | ||
| 6 |
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ﴿6﴾لا |
سَمَا,
|
| Indeed, We adorn the sky of the world with the decoration of the stars. | ||
| 7 |
وَحِفْظًۭا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ مَّارِدٍۢ﴿7﴾ج |
كُلَّ,
|
| And We have protected it from every defiant shaitan. | ||
| 8 |
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍۢ﴿8﴾ق صلے |
جَنَبَ,
|
| They are not allowed to listen to the Angels of the High and are thrown away (pelted) from every direction. | ||
| 9 |
دُحُورًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ وَاصِبٌ﴿9﴾لا |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Driven away and, for them, a lasting (permanent) punishment. | ||
| 10 |
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ ثَاقِبٌۭ﴿10﴾ |
شَهَبَ,
|
| Except for him who seizes, (and) carries away, (the information) then he is followed with a piercing blaze (blazing, shining jet streams). | ||
| 11 |
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٍۢ لَّازِبٍۭ﴿11﴾ |
حَلَقَ,
|
| Ask them, “Are they a strong (powerful) creation or whom We created (Do they think they were created stronger by someone other than Allah).” (No) We created (all of) them (the same) with the sticky clay. | ||
| 12 |
بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ﴿12﴾ص |
عَجَبَ,
|
| But you marvel, and they make a mockery. | ||
| 13 |
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ﴿13﴾ص |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| And when they are reminded, they do not remember (listen, pay attention). | ||
| 14 |
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةًۭ يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ﴿14﴾ص |
آ ىي -آية,
|
| And when they see signs-verses of the Quran, they make it an object of ridicule (laugh off). | ||
| 15 |
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ﴿15﴾ج صلے |
قَالَ,
|
| And they say, “That is only clear magic.” | ||
| 16 |
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ﴿16﴾لا |
تَرِبَ,
|
| When we are dead and become dust and bones, will we be revived? | ||
| 17 |
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ﴿17﴾ط |
ا و ل,
|
| And our earlier forefathers? | ||
| 18 |
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ﴿18﴾ج |
قَالَ,
|
| Say, “Yes, and you will be totally submissive.” | ||
| 19 |
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ﴿19﴾ |
نَظَرَ,
|
| Then, when they will be scolded only once, then they will be staring (silently). | ||
| 20 |
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ﴿20﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| They will say, “O woe to us. This is the Last Day of Judgment.” | ||
| 21 |
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ﴿21﴾1ع |
كَذَبَ,
|
| “This is the day of the decision that you have been denying. | ||
| 22 |
۞ ٱحْشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ﴿22﴾لا |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Gather those unjust, their spouses, and what they used to worship. | ||
| 23 |
مِن دُونِ ٱللّٰهِ فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿23﴾ |
هَدَى,
|
| Other than Allah, guide them to the straight way (path) of Hell. | ||
| 24 |
وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسْـُٔولُونَ﴿24﴾لا |
سَأَلَ,
|
| Hold them. They will be questioned.” | ||
| 25 |
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ﴿25﴾ |
نَصَرَ,
|
| What is (the matter) with you? Why do you not help each other? | ||
| 26 |
بَلْ هُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ﴿26﴾ |
يَوْم,
|
| On this day, they will be in submission. | ||
| 27 |
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ﴿27﴾ |
قَبِلَ,
|
| They will come forward, questioning each other. | ||
| 28 |
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ﴿28﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| They will say, “You used to come to us from the right (side).” | ||
| 29 |
قَالُوا۟ بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ﴿29﴾ج |
قَالَ,
|
| They will say (reply), “But you were not going to be believers. | ||
| 30 |
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ ۖ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا طَٰغِينَ﴿30﴾ |
سُلَط,
|
| And we did not have any authority over you. But you were the nation of transgressors. | ||
| 31 |
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَآ ۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ﴿31﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Then we deserve the truth of the word of our Rabb on us. We will sure taste it. | ||
| 32 |
فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ﴿32﴾ |
كَانَ,
|
| Then we misguided you. Indeed, we were misguided.” | ||
| 33 |
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ﴿33﴾ |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Then, indeed, on this Day, they will share (join in) the punishment. | ||
| 34 |
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿34﴾ |
جَرَمَ,
|
| Indeed, that is how We do (deal and act) with those who are unjust. | ||
| 35 |
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللّٰهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ﴿35﴾لا |
إِله,
|
| When it is said to them, “There is no god except Allah,” they used to be arrogant. | ||
| 36 |
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍۢ مَّجْنُونٍۭ﴿36﴾ط |
قَالَ,
|
| And said, “Should we abandon our gods for a possessed poet?” | ||
| 37 |
بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿37﴾ |
رَسِلَ,
|
| But he came to them with the truth and ratified (confirmed) the (previous) Messengers. | ||
| 38 |
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَآئِقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَلِيمِ﴿38﴾ج |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Indeed, you will surely taste the painful punishment. | ||
| 39 |
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ﴿39﴾لا |
عَمِلَ,
|
| "You will only receive compensation for the work you have performed." | ||
| 40 |
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ﴿40﴾ |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Except for the worshippers of Allah, the pure. | ||
| 41 |
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ﴿41﴾لا |
عَلِمَ,
|
| For them, there will be known provisions. | ||
| 42 |
فَوَٰكِهُ ۖ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ﴿42﴾لا |
كَرُمَ,
|
| They will be given fruits, and they will be honored (given noble status). | ||
| 43 |
فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ﴿43﴾لا |
جَنَّ,
|
| In gardens of delight. | ||
| 44 |
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ﴿44﴾ |
سَرَّ,
|
| On the couches,(joyfully) facing each other. | ||
| 45 |
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ﴿45﴾لا |
طَافَ,
|
| Rounds will be made on them with nice springs (designated). | ||
| 46 |
بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍۢ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ﴿46﴾ج صلے |
بَا ضَ,
|
| White, tasty for the drinkers. | ||
| 47 |
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ﴿47﴾ |
غَوْل,
|
| "It will not seize (destroy) or exhaust (deplete, empty) it for them." | ||
| 48 |
وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌۭ﴿48﴾لا |
قَصُرَ,
|
| With them will be winking eyes and holding back (bashful women with glances). | ||
| 49 |
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ﴿49﴾ |
بَا ضَ,
|
| Like they were hidden pearls (precious). | ||
| 50 |
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ﴿50﴾ |
بَعَضَ,
|
| Then some of them will come forward, asking each other. | ||
| 51 |
قَالَ قَآئِلٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّى كَانَ لِى قَرِينٌۭ﴿51﴾لا |
قَرَنَ,
|
| A person talking to them will say, “I used to have a companion with me. | ||
| 52 |
يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ﴿52﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| Who used to say, ‘Are you (joining) with those confirming (the belief)? | ||
| 53 |
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ﴿53﴾ |
تَرِبَ,
|
| That when we are dead and become dust and bones, will we be judged?" | ||
| 54 |
قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ﴿54﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| He will say, “Have you looked out?” | ||
| 55 |
فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِى سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿55﴾ |
جَحَمَ,
|
| He will look and will see him in the middle of Hell. | ||
| 56 |
قَالَ تَٱللّٰهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ﴿56﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| He will say, “By Allah, you almost have me destroyed. | ||
| 57 |
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ﴿57﴾ |
نَعَمَ,
|
| If it were not for the grace of my Rabb, I would have been from the arraigned (summoned to be judged instead of forgiven)”. | ||
| 58 |
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ﴿58﴾لا |
مَاتَ,
|
| “Then (O my companion), what, will we not die (anymore)? | ||
| 59 |
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ﴿59﴾ |
مَاتَ,
|
| Except for our first death, we will not be with those punished.” | ||
| 60 |
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ﴿60﴾ |
فَازَ,
|
| Indeed, this is surely the greatest success. | ||
| 61 |
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ﴿61﴾ |
مَثَلَ,
|
| With this example, the workers shall do work. | ||
| 62 |
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ﴿62﴾ |
خَيرَ,
|
| Is this the better lodging (grant) or the (place to eat the) Tree of the Zakhoum? | ||
| 63 |
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ﴿63﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| We made this a seduction for the wrongdoers. | ||
| 64 |
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌۭ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿64﴾لا |
شَجَرَ,
|
| It is a tree that rises from the root of Hell. | ||
| 65 |
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ﴿65﴾ |
رَأَسَ,
|
| It appears like these are heads of the Shaitans. | ||
| 66 |
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَـَٔاكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ﴿66﴾ط |
أَكَلَ,
|
| They will surely eat from it, and it will fill up their stomachs. | ||
| 67 |
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًۭا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ﴿67﴾ج |
حَمَى,
|
| After that, indeed, for them will be hot air with heat. | ||
| 68 |
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿68﴾ |
جَحَمَ,
|
| After that, indeed, their return will be to Hell. | ||
| 69 |
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ ضَآلِّينَ﴿69﴾لا |
ضَلَّ,
|
| Indeed, they will meet (unite) with their misguided forefathers. | ||
| 70 |
فَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ﴿70﴾ |
أَثَرَ,
|
| And they were rushing to follow them. (hurrying to follow their forefather's traditions). | ||
| 71 |
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿71﴾لا |
ضَلَّ,
|
| And many of the earlier ones were misguided. | ||
| 72 |
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ﴿72﴾ |
نَذَرَ,
|
| And We have sent among them warners. | ||
| 73 |
فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ﴿73﴾لا |
نَذَرَ,
|
| So, see how the punishment was for those who were warned. | ||
| 74 |
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ﴿74﴾2ع |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Except for the sincere servants of Allah. | ||
| 75 |
وَلَقَدْ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٌۭ فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ﴿75﴾ز صلے |
نَعَمَ,
|
| And indeed, Noah called to Us, and We were excellent responders. | ||
| 76 |
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿76﴾ز صلے |
نَجَا,
|
| And We saved him and his family from great distress. | ||
| 77 |
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ﴿77﴾ز صلے |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And We continued his descendants (progeny) to remain. | ||
| 78 |
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿78﴾ز صلے |
تَرَكَ,
|
| And We left his legacy to be followed by the later (generations). | ||
| 79 |
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿79﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| Peace is on Noah in the world. | ||
| 80 |
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿80﴾ |
جَزَى,
|
| Indeed, that is how We reward the beneficent (kind). | ||
| 81 |
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿81﴾ |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Indeed, he was among Our believing worshippers. | ||
| 82 |
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ﴿82﴾ |
غَرِقَ,
|
| Then We drowned the others. | ||
| 83 |
۞ وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ﴿83﴾م |
شَاعَ,
|
| Ibrahim was among his (Noah's) followers (adherent, group). | ||
| 84 |
إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍ﴿84﴾ |
قَلَبَ,
|
| When he came to his Rabb with a sound heart. | ||
| 85 |
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ﴿85﴾ج |
عَبَدَ,
|
| He said to his father and his people, “What is it that you worship? | ||
| 86 |
أَئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةًۭ دُونَ ٱللّٰهِ تُرِيدُونَ﴿86﴾ط |
رَادَ,
|
| "Are you seeking false gods instead of Allah?" | ||
| 87 |
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿87﴾ |
عَلِمَ,
|
| So, what do you think of the Rabb of the Worlds?” | ||
| 88 |
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةًۭ فِى ٱلنُّجُومِ﴿88﴾لا |
نَظَرَ,
|
| Then he saw the sight of the stars. | ||
| 89 |
فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَقِيمٌۭ﴿89﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| And said, “I am getting sick.” | ||
| 90 |
فَتَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ﴿90﴾ |
وَلِيَ,
|
| Then they turned away from him, passed on (and went away). | ||
| 91 |
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ﴿91﴾ج |
أَكَلَ,
|
| Then he collected his thoughts to their gods and said, “Why do you not eat? | ||
| 92 |
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ﴿92﴾ |
نَطَقَ,
|
| What is with you that you do not speak?” | ||
| 93 |
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًۢا بِٱلْيَمِينِ﴿93﴾ |
يَمَنَ,
|
| Then he finished them, hitting with his right hand. | ||
| 94 |
فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ﴿94﴾ |
قَبِلَ,
|
| And they came, in front of him, (confronted him) in a hurry. | ||
| 95 |
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ﴿95﴾لا |
عَبَدَ,
|
| He said, “Do you worship what you carve out of stonework? | ||
| 96 |
وَٱللّٰهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ﴿96﴾ |
خَلَقَ,
|
| When Allah has created you and (made) what you do?” | ||
| 97 |
قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَٰنًۭا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿97﴾ |
قَالَ,
|
| They said, “Build a structure for him to put him into the fire.” | ||
| 98 |
فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ﴿98﴾ |
جَعَلَ,
|
| They intended a conspiracy on him, but We made them among the lower (losers, despicable). | ||
| 99 |
وَقَالَ إِنِّى ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ﴿99﴾ |
هَدَى,
|
| He said, “I am going to my Rabb. He will guide me.” | ||
| 100 |
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ﴿100﴾ |
وَهَبَ,
|
| “My Rabb grant me (progeny) of the righteous.” | ||
| 101 |
فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٍۢ﴿101﴾ |
بَشِرَ,
|
| So, We gave him the good news about a patient (mild-tempered) youth. | ||
| 102 |
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ ۚ قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ ۖ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللّٰهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ﴿102﴾ |
نَظَرَ,
|
| Then, when he (Ismail) reached adulthood with him (Ibrahim) in (his) efforts, he (Ibrahim) said, “O my son, I saw in the dream that I slaughter you; see what you think.” He (Ismail) said, “O my Father, do what you are ordered; you will find me with the will of Allah, the patient.” | ||
| 103 |
فَلَمَّآ أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلْجَبِينِ﴿103﴾ج |
سَلِمَ,
|
| Then, when they both followed and he put his forehead down. | ||
| 104 |
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ﴿104﴾لا |
نَدَا,
|
| We called out to him, “O Ibrahim! | ||
| 105 |
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ ٱلرُّءْيَآ ۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿105﴾ |
جَزَى,
|
| You have fulfilled the truth of what you perceived.” Indeed, We reward the good-doers accordingly. | ||
| 106 |
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ﴿106﴾ |
بَا نَ,
|
| Indeed, this was a clear test. | ||
| 107 |
وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍۢ﴿107﴾ |
عَظُمَ,
|
| And then We redeemed him with a great sacrifice. | ||
| 108 |
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿108﴾صلے |
تَرَكَ,
|
| And We left his legacy for the later generations. (The slaughtering of an animal as a sacrifice to God during Eid-al-Adha keeps an Abrahamic legacy alive). | ||
| 109 |
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ﴿109﴾ |
سَلِمَ,
|
| (Salute, Greetings) Peace is upon Ibrahim. | ||
| 110 |
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿110﴾ |
جَزَى,
|
| That is how We reward the beneficent. | ||
| 111 |
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿111﴾ |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Indeed, he was among Our believing worshippers. | ||
| 112 |
وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِإِسْحَٰقَ نَبِيًّۭا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ﴿112﴾ |
صَلَحَ,
|
| And We gave him the good news of Ishaq (Isak), a prophet, the righteous. (Note. This Ayat shows that Ishaq Alahi-Sallam was the younger brother, and Ismail Alahi-Sallam, the elder brother, was offered earlier in above Ayat # 102 to Allah for sacrifice). | ||
| 113 |
وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ﴿113﴾3ع |
حَسَنَ,
|
| We blessed him and Ishaq. And (but) among his offspring, (some) are beneficent, and (some) are clearly unjust to their souls. | ||
| 114 |
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ﴿114﴾ج |
مَنَّ,
|
| And indeed, We granted favor to Musa and Haroon. | ||
| 115 |
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ﴿115﴾ج |
نَجَا,
|
| And We rescued (saved) both of them and their nation from the incredible pain. | ||
| 116 |
وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ﴿116﴾ج |
غَلَبَ,
|
| And We helped them, so they were victors. | ||
| 117 |
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ﴿117﴾ج |
أَتَى,
|
| And We granted the Book to both to be followed clearly. | ||
| 118 |
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ﴿118﴾ج |
قَامَ,
|
| And We guided them to the straight path. | ||
| 119 |
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿119﴾لا |
تَرَكَ,
|
| And We made them a legacy for the later generations. | ||
| 120 |
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ﴿120﴾ |
سَلِمَ,
|
| Peace (Salute, Greetings) upon Musa and Haroon. | ||
| 121 |
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿121﴾ |
جَزَى,
|
| Indeed, that is how We reward the beneficent. | ||
| 122 |
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿122﴾ |

| Indeed, they were both from Our believing worshippers. | ||
| 123 |
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿123﴾ط |
رَسِلَ,
|
| And indeed, Ilyas was from the Messengers. | ||
| 124 |
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ﴿124﴾ |
تَقَى,
|
| He said to his nation, “Do you not fear? | ||
| 125 |
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًۭا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ﴿125﴾لا |
دَعَا,
|
| Do you pray to idol baal and forsake (leave) the Best Creator? (Allah, His creation is the Perfect). | ||
| 126 |
ٱللّٰهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿126﴾ |
ا و ل,
|
| Allah is your Rabb and the Rabb of your earlier forefathers.” | ||
| 127 |
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ﴿127﴾لا |
كَذَبَ,
|
| Then (but) they denied him, and thus they will be from the presented (arraigned for conviction). | ||
| 128 |
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ﴿128﴾ |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Except for the sincere servants of Allah. | ||
| 129 |
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ﴿129﴾لا |
تَرَكَ,
|
| And We made him a legacy for the later generations. | ||
| 130 |
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلْ يَاسِينَ﴿130﴾ |
سَلِمَ,
|
| Peace (Greetings and Salute) upon IL Yasin. | ||
| 131 |
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ﴿131﴾ |
جَزَى,
|
| Indeed, that is how We reward the beneficent. | ||
| 132 |
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿132﴾ |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Indeed, he was from Our believing worshippers. | ||
| 133 |
وَإِنَّ لُوطًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿133﴾ط |
رَسِلَ,
|
| And indeed, Lut was among the Messengers. | ||
| 134 |
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ﴿134﴾لا |
نَجَا,
|
| We rescued (saved) him and his family all together | ||
| 135 |
إِلَّا عَجُوزًۭا فِى ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ﴿135﴾ |
غَبَرَ,
|
| Except for an old woman from the passed over (who was left behind). | ||
| 136 |
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ﴿136﴾ |
دَمَرَ,
|
| Then We destroyed the others. | ||
| 137 |
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ﴿137﴾ |
صَبُحَ,
|
| And indeed, you surely pass by them in the morning. | ||
| 138 |
وَبِٱلَّيْلِ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ﴿138﴾4ع |
عَقَلَ,
|
| And at night. Do you not understand? | ||
| 139 |
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿139﴾ط |
رَسِلَ,
|
| And indeed, Younus was from the Messengers. | ||
| 140 |
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ﴿140﴾لا |
فَلَكَ,
|
| When he headed towards the fully loaded ship in an attempt to escape. | ||
| 141 |
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ﴿141﴾ج |
كَانَ,
|
| Then he (was) casted lot (in the lottery) and lost. | ||
| 142 |
فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ ٱلْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ﴿142﴾ |
لَقَمَ,
|
| Then fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. | ||
| 143 |
فَلَوْلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ﴿143﴾لا |
سَبَحَ,
|
| Then had he not been from those who glorify (Allah). | ||
| 144 |
لَلَبِثَ فِى بَطْنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ﴿144﴾ج النصف |
بَطَنَ,
|
| Certainly, he would have stayed in its stomach until the Day they will be raised. | ||
| 145 |
۞ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌۭ﴿145﴾ج |
نَبَذَ,
|
| Then We threw him into an open space, and he became sick. | ||
| 146 |
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةًۭ مِّن يَقْطِينٍۢ﴿146﴾ج |
نَبَتَ,
|
| And We grew for him a tree with a variety of squash. | ||
| 147 |
وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ﴿147﴾ج |
رَسِلَ,
|
| Then We sent him to one hundred thousand or more. | ||
| 148 |
فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ﴿148﴾ط |
مَتَعَ,
|
| And they became believers, so, We gave them enjoyment for some time. | ||
| 149 |
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ﴿149﴾لا |
اِبْن,
|
| Ask them, “Are the daughters for Allah, while for them are the sons? | ||
| 150 |
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثًۭا وَهُمْ شَٰهِدُونَ﴿150﴾ |
خَلَقَ,
|
| Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnessing?” | ||
| 151 |
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ﴿151﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| No indeed. They are saying falsehoods from their mouth. | ||
| 152 |
وَلَدَ ٱللّٰهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ﴿152﴾ |
وَلَدَ,
|
| “Allah has children.” And they are lying. | ||
| 153 |
أَصْطَفَى ٱلْبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلْبَنِينَ﴿153﴾ط |
صَفَا,
|
| Has He chosen the daughters over the sons? | ||
| 154 |
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ﴿154﴾ |
حَكَمَ,
|
| What is the matter with you? How do you decide? | ||
| 155 |
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ﴿155﴾ج |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| Do you not remember? | ||
| 156 |
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ﴿156﴾لا |
بَا نَ,
|
| Or do you have clear proof with you? | ||
| 157 |
فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿157﴾ |
صَدَقَ,
|
| Then bring your book if you are truthful. | ||
| 158 |
وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًۭا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ﴿158﴾لا |
جَعَلَ,
|
| And they made a relationship between Him and between the jinn. But the jinn knows that they will be presented. (summoned to be judged). | ||
| 159 |
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللّٰهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ﴿159﴾لا |
سَبَحَ,
|
| Praise be to Allah, How far Allah is from every imperfection, they characterize. | ||
| 160 |
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ﴿160﴾ |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Except for the sincere servants of Allah. | ||
| 161 |
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ﴿161﴾لا |
عَبَدَ,
|
| Then indeed, you and what you worship. | ||
| 162 |
مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ﴿162﴾لا |
عَلَا,
|
| You are not going to seduce anyone away from Him. | ||
| 163 |
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ﴿163﴾ |
جَحَمَ,
|
| Except for him, who will be burning in Hell. | ||
| 164 |
وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ﴿164﴾لا |
عَلِمَ,
|
| “And nobody with Us but has his known place. | ||
| 165 |
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ﴿165﴾ج |
صَفَّ,
|
| And we are among those (who stand) in rows (ready to obey Commands of Our Rabb). | ||
| 166 |
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ﴿166﴾ |
سَبَحَ,
|
| And we are among those who praise (Allah).” | ||
| 167 |
وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ﴿167﴾لا |
قَالَ,
|
| Even though they used to say surely. | ||
| 168 |
لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿168﴾لا |
ذَكّرَ,
|
| “If only we had the remembrance with us from the earlier. | ||
| 169 |
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ﴿169﴾ |
عَبَدَ,
|
| We would be among the sincere servants (of Allah).” | ||
| 170 |
فَكَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿170﴾ |
كَفَرَ,
|
| Then (but) they were unjust to this (This Divine Book, Quran), so, they will soon know. | ||
| 171 |
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿171﴾ج صلے |
رَسِلَ,
|
| And indeed, Our words proceeded (before this) for Our servant Messengers. | ||
| 172 |
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ﴿172﴾ص |
نَصَرَ,
|
| Indeed, to them, they are assisted. | ||
| 173 |
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ﴿173﴾ |
غَلَبَ,
|
| And indeed, Our army, surely they will be the victors. | ||
| 174 |
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ﴿174﴾لا |
حَانَ,
|
| So, turn away from them for some time. | ||
| 175 |
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ﴿175﴾ |
بَصُرَ,
|
| And observe them, soon they will see. | ||
| 176 |
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ﴿176﴾ |
عَذُبَ,
|
| Do they seek to hurry with Our punishment? | ||
| 177 |
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ﴿177﴾ |
نَذَرَ,
|
| When it is sent down in their arena, it will be an evil morning for the warned. | ||
| 178 |
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ﴿178﴾لا |
حَانَ,
|
| So, turn away from them for some time. | ||
| 179 |
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ﴿179﴾ |
بَصُرَ,
|
| And observe, soon they will see. | ||
| 180 |
سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ﴿180﴾ج |
سَبَحَ,
|
| Praise for your Rabb, Rabb with the Power, Far away is Allah from every imperfection. (The Most Powerful from what they characterize, and above any need). | ||
| 181 |
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ﴿181﴾ج |
رَسِلَ,
|
| And Peace (Greetings, Salute) upon the Messengers. | ||
| 182 |
وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿182﴾5ع |
عَلِمَ,
|
| And all the praise for Allah, Rabb of the universe. |
