Firon said, “Did you believe in him before I permitted you? Indeed, he is the big (magician) among you; he is the one who taught you the magic. I will cut your hands and your legs from opposite sides, and I will put you on the cross from the shaft of a date-palm tree. Then you will learn who is more severe in punishment and long lasting.”

O Children of Israel! We have saved you from your enemy, and We arranged for a meeting with you at the right side of the Mount Toor, and We have sent down upon you consolation (comforts of life) and peace.
81

“And why you are ahead of your people, O Musa?”
84

ا و ل,
Musa said, “They are following me and I hurried to you my Rabb, so that you are pleased.”
85

Allah said, “We have tested your nation after you and the Samri (entertainer in evening) has misled them.”
86

So Musa returned to his nation, angry and sad, He said, “O my nation, did your Rabb not promise you well? Did those promises become too (tall) long? Or do you desire that the wrath of your Rabb is to be justified, so then (why) you broke my promise?”
87

They said, “We did not break your promise with our own sovereignty of will, but we were burdened from the ornaments of the nation, so we threw them in the fire. That is what Samri dictated.”
88

Then he extracted for them a body of a calf, it was mooing. And they said, “This is your god and its god of Musa, but he (Musa) forgot.”
89

Did they not see that it will not respond to their words, and is not capable to harm them or benefit them?
90

They said, “We will not leave this place and will remain devoted until Musa returns to us.”
92

That you did not follow me? Did you disobey my instruction?”
94

He said, “O son of my mother, do not hold my beard or my head. I feared that you would say, ‘I divided the Children of Israel and did not regard my word.’”
95

He said, “What is the matter with you, O Samri (entertainer)?”
96

He said, “Go away! It is for you in this life that you say, ‘Do not touch me.’ And for you a promise will follow you. Now see your god that you remained devoted, we will burn it and we will scatter it in the sea as blown up particles.”
98

You will not be thirsty in it, nor will you forenoon (swelter in heat).”
120

Salam - JazakAllahu Khairan for operating this website. It is very helpful in learning the root words that are associated with the ayats of the quran. I noticed today that the links to the dictionary are not working. I am not sure if it is only me who is seeing this or others are experiencing the same issue. Regards

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Kashif The Website is working good, sometimes the links takes time to respond and open the page of the dictionary. If you wait or login again it should resolve the issue. Keep us informed if you find that word links are not responding. We are working on upgrades where each word will be directly linked to Dictionary. JAK

Salam - For the last 10 years I have been searching for a similar tool that can connect the Quranic ayats with their root words. This is a revolutionary tool that truly fulfils the gap in understanding that existed between the meaning and spirt of each ayat. After gaining this deeper level of understanding the process of reading quran becomes a process which is a dialogue between your soul and Allah. Now i understand why this message was such a transformational tool in the lives of sahaba since they understood the root meaning of quranic ayats. I feel like this is the need of the hour and this tool will truly helps us in establishing and connecting back to our true ibrahimic roots. I would like to send my deepest gratitude to team behind this master piece.May the ummah benefit from this revolutionary tool.

Response:

Walakum Assalam, Waleed, We received the Message of Al-Quran from Prophet Muhammad Salla-Allahu Alayhi Wasallam, and this is our blessing in our life, and to Thank Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. All we can do is to try understanding His Message and ask for His Forgiveness. Your comments were encouraging; we are working on the next phase of update where we will add few more words and few corrections, along with links of dictionary pages enabled, just by hovering over the Ayats. Please let us know if you find any mistakes for corrections or provide us with your suggestions for improvements. May Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala reward you for your efforts. JAK.

Its a stunning work. i am learning arabic and deeply interested to speak fluently. If you can provide the linking pages as text reference, will be a great boon for us. through that we can also search for any words that appear in texts and refer back to the root. it is also the reverse way. But now the linked dictionary pages are in pdf or image only ref. But thanks very much for this wonderful work. Ifyou can make a tool out of it..we can contribute to it as i know time is spent very much on it.

Response:

Assalamu’alaikum Babu, It is our blessing from Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, that He sent us His Great Messenger, Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu hu Alaihi Wassalam, with Quran. It is Guidance for our lives. We must understand, each word of Quran, and ask for His guidance, Forgiveness and Acceptance. We thank you for your comments of encouragement. We want to keep the dictionary in original format, and the great work done by author Maan Zulfi Madina and Columbia University. We do have plan to digitize the dictionary later if the permission is granted. Please continue to use the website and send us recommendations. Please share the website with others. Jazakallah
