سورة الإسراء - 17 -

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate
1

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ البَصِيرُ

سَمَعَ,
سَرَى,
قَصَا,
حَالَ,
رَأَى,
آ ىي -آية,
بَرَكَ,
بَصُرَ,
عَبَدَ,
سَبَحَ,
سَجَدَ,
حَرُمَ,
إِلَى,
لَيْل,
قَصَا,
سَمَعَ,
Praise is to Him who took His worshipper to travel by night from the Sacred Mosque, to Aqsa, whose precincts (surroundings) We have blessed, for Us to show him Our signs; Indeed, He is the All Listener and All Seer.
2

وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِّبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَلاَّ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِن دُونِي وَكِيلاً

هَدَى,
جَعَلَ,
أَتَى,
أَخَذَ,
كَتَبَ,
اِبْن,
وَكَلَ,
دُون,
And We gave Musa the Book and made that guidance for the Children of Israel: Do not take hold of any besides Me as a supporter in charge.
3

ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا

حَمَلَ,
ذَرَّ,
شَكَرَ,
عَبَدَ,
كَانَ,
مَعَ,
Descendants from those We carried with Noah. He was a thankful worshipper.
4

وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي الْكِتَابِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِي الأَرْضِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا

فَسَدَ,
أَ رَضْ,
كَتَبَ,
اِبْن,
كَبَرَ,
قَضَى,
مَرَّ,
إِلَى,
عَلَا,
And We decreed to children of Israel in the Book: You will spread immorality in the earth twice, and you will elevate to a great ascent in corruption.

فَإِذَا جَاء وَعْدُ أُولاهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا لَّنَا أُوْلِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ فَجَاسُواْ خِلاَلَ الدِّيَارِ وَكَانَ وَعْدًا مَّفْعُولاً

شَدَّ,
بَأْ س- بَؤُ سَ,
عَبَدَ,
بَعَثَ,
جَاءَ,
وَعَدَ,
كَانَ,
خَلَّ,
ا و ل,
جَاسَ,
دَارَ,
فَعَلَ,
When the first promise of two came true, We raised on you Our worshippers, with steadfast courage, and they entered through the gaps of the homes to gain information. And that was a promise to be done.
6

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَا لَكُمُ الْكَرَّةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَمْدَدْنَاكُم بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِيرًا

جَعَلَ,
مَال,
اِبْن,
مَدَّ,
كُرَة,
كَثَرَ,
رَدَّ,
ثَمَّ,
نَفَرَ,
Then We returned you with your round on them, and assisted you with wealth and children, and rewarded you with a growing group.
7

إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَاء وَعْدُ الآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوؤُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُواْ مَا عَلَوْاْ تَتْبِيرًا

دَخَلَ,
نَفُسَ,
حَصَبَ,
مَرَّ,
وَجَهَ,
ا و ل,
أخر,
جَاءَ,
سَجَدَ,
وَعَدَ,
حَسَنَ,
سَا ءَ,
يَأَسَ,
تَبَرَ,
تَبَرَ,
If you do well, you will do well for yourselves; and if you do poorly, you do it against yourselves. Then when the other promise came, so they will grieve your faces and to enter the Masjid like they entered the first time, and demolish what was raised.
8

عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا

جَعَلَ,
جَهَنَّم,
عَدَا,
كَفَرَ,
عَسَى,
رَحِمَ,
رَبَّ,
حَصَرَ,
Perhaps your Rabb will have mercy on you. And then (but) if you repeat, then We will revert. We will make Hell a confined place for the ungrateful.
9

إِنَّ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنَ يِهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا

عَمِلَ,
بَشِرَ,
صَلَحَ,
أَجَرَ,
قَرَأَ,
أَ مُنَ,
كَبَرَ,
قَامَ,
هَدَى,
Indeed, this Quran guides to those who stand firm; and it gives good news for the believers who do righteous deeds, for them is a high reward.
10

وأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

أَ مَرَ,
أَ لِمَ,
عَذُبَ,
عَتُدَ,
أخر,
أَ مُنَ,
And for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have prepared for them a painful punishment.
11

وَيَدْعُ الإِنسَانُ بِالشَّرِّ دُعَاءهُ بِالْخَيْرِ وَكَانَ الإِنسَانُ عَجُولاً

أَنِسَ,
خَيرَ,
شَرَّ,
دَعَا,
كَانَ,
عَجِلَ,
And humankind calls for wickedness (thinking) his call is for good. Humanity is haste (in judgments).
12

وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ آيَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَا آيَةَ اللَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَا آيَةَ النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِتَبْتَغُواْ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ تَفْصِيلاً

عَلِمَ,
جَعَلَ,
فَضَلَ,
لَيْل,
شِاءَ,
بَصُرَ,
نَهَرَ,
بَغَى,
حَسَبَ,
كُل,
عَدَّ,
آ ىي -آية,
رَبَّ,
فَصَلَ,
مَحَا,
سَنَّ,
فَصَلَ,
And We have made the night and the day two signs. So We erase the sign of the night, and made the sign of the day a realization for you to seek the favors of your Rabb, and for you to know the counting and calculations of the years. And We have detailed everything, everything separately.
13

وَكُلَّ إِنسَانٍ أَلْزَمْنَاهُ طَآئِرَهُ فِي عُنُقِهِ وَنُخْرِجُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كِتَابًا يَلْقَاهُ مَنشُورًا

كَتَبَ,
خَرَجَ,
يَوْم,
طَارَ,
أَنِسَ,
قَامَ,
كُل,
عَنِقَ,
لَقِيَ,
نَشَرَ,
لَزِمَ,
And for every humankind We have made his omen (facts) accompanying around his neck. And We will bring a book out for him on the Day of Standing and he will read it openly.
14

اقْرَأْ كَتَابَكَ كَفَى بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا

كَفَى,
يَوْم,
نَفُسَ,
حَسَبَ,
قَرَأَ,
كَتَبَ,
“Read your book; you are sufficient to read your own account today.”
15

مَّنِ اهْتَدَى فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدي لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّى نَبْعَثَ رَسُولاً

ضَلَّ,
بَعَثَ,
رَسِلَ,
عَذُبَ,
هَدَى,
نَفُسَ,
وَزَرَ,
ضَلَّ,
أخر,
حَتَّى,
عَلَا,
كَانَ,
Whoever is guided is guided for him and whoever is lost, he is lost for himself. You will not carry the weight of the others nor do We punish until We raise a messenger to give warning.
16

وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَن نُّهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا

قَرَى,
قَالَ,
حَقَّ,
دَمَرَ,
هَلَكَ,
رَادَ,
أَ مَرَ,
تَرِفَ,
فًسًقَ,
عَلَا,
And when We desire to destroy a city, We order the well-to-do in them, they make mischief in it, so the word is justified on them, and then We annihilate it completely.
17

وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ الْقُرُونِ مِن بَعْدِ نُوحٍ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِ خَبِيرَم ا بَصِيرًا

قَرَنَ,
كَفَى,
عَبَدَ,
ذَنْب,
بَصُرَ,
قَرَنَ,
هَلَكَ,
بَعُدَ,
رَبَّ,
كَم,
And how many among the companions have We destroyed from after Noah? Your Rabb is sufficient to see the sins of His slaves.
18

مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلْنَا لَهُ فِيهَا مَا نَشَاء لِمَن نُّرِيدُ ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا لَهُ جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلاهَا مَذْمُومًا مَّدْحُورًا

جَعَلَ,
جَهَنَّم,
شِاءَ,
رَادَ,
عَجِلَ,
صَلَى,
دَحَرَ,
كَانَ,
ثَمَّ,
ذَمَّ,
Whoever desires to expedite (rewards in this world), We expedite for him what We decide to give him, for whomever We desire. Then We make Hell for him, where he will burn, condemned and defeated.
19

وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الآخِرَةَ وَسَعَى لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَئِكَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُم مَّشْكُورًا

أخر,
رَادَ,
سَعَى,
شَكَرَ,
أَ مُنَ,
كَانَ,
And whoever desires the Hereafter, and he struggles with his efforts while he is a believer, then for them their steps are acknowledged.
20

كُلاًّ نُّمِدُّ هَـؤُلاء وَهَـؤُلاء مِنْ عَطَاء رَبِّكَ وَمَا كَانَ عَطَاء رَبِّكَ مَحْظُورًا

مَدَّ,
كُل,
عَطَا,
كَانَ,
رَبَّ,
حَظَرَ,
To all We support, these and those, are granted gifts by your Rabb. The gifts of your Rabb are not enclosed (in a fence, restricted, limited).
21

انظُرْ كَيْفَ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَلَلآخِرَةُ أَكْبَرُ دَرَجَاتٍ وَأَكْبَرُ تَفْضِيلاً

نَظَرَ,
كَبَرَ,
أخر,
دَرَجَ,
فَضَلَ,
بَعَضَ,
كَيْفَ,
See how We have elevated some over others (in this world), yet the Hereafter will be higher in grades in excellence.
22

لاَّ تَجْعَل مَعَ اللّهِ إِلَـهًا آخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومًا مَّخْذُولاً

بَعَضَ,
جَعَلَ,
إِله,
أخر,
قَعَدَ,
مَعَ,
ذَمَّ,
خَذَلَ,
Do not make with Allah other gods; then you will remain blameworthy, despicable, and cutoff.
23

وَقَضَى رَبُّكَ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُواْ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ الْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلاَهُمَا فَلاَ تَقُل لَّهُمَآ أُفٍّ وَلاَ تَنْهَرْهُمَا وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوْلاً كَرِيمًا

أَ جَل,
بَلَغَ,
عَبَدَ,
قَالَ,
أ حد,
نَهَرَ,
حَسَنَ,
قَضَى,
وَلَدَ,
كَرُمَ,
عَنَدَ,
رَبَّ,
أفَ,
كُل,
إِيَّا,
Your Rabb has decreed that you worship only Him and be kind with your parents. When they reach old age with you, one of them or both of them, then do not say a word of disrespect, nor repulse, nor reprimand them, but say decent words to them.
24

وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

قَالَ,
رَحِمَ,
خَفَضَ,
جَنَحَ,
صَغُرَ,
ذَلَّ,
رَبَّ,
And make it comfortable for them and inclined to the gentleness, with mercy, and say, “O my Rabb, have mercy on them, like they had raised me when I was small (infant, young).”
25

رَّبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِي نُفُوسِكُمْ إِن تَكُونُواْ صَالِحِينَ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ لِلأَوَّابِينَ غَفُورًا

عَلِمَ,
غَفَرَ,
كَانَ,
صَلَحَ,
نَفُسَ,
أ و ب,
You Rabb know best with what is in yourselves. If you are righteous, He is Most Forgiving to those who return to Him.
26

وَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَلاَ تُبَذِّرْ تَبْذِيرًا

سَبَلَ,
حَقَّ,
مسكن,
قَرُبَ,
أَتَى,
سَبَلَ,
بَذَرَ,
And give to the near relatives his rights, and the needy, and the travelers, and do not be wasteful squandering.
27

إِنَّ الْمُبَذِّرِينَ كَانُواْ إِخْوَانَ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِرَبِّهِ كَفُورًا

أ خو,
بَذَرَ,
شَيَطن,
كَانَ,
كَفَرَ,
رَبَّ,
Those who waste are brothers of the shaitan and shaitan has been ungrateful for his Rabb.
28

وَإِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ابْتِغَاء رَحْمَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمْ قَوْلاً مَّيْسُورًا

قَالَ,
رَحِمَ,
عَرُضَ,
رَجَا,
بَغَى,
يَسَرَ,
رَبَّ,
And if you turn away from them, seeking mercy of your Rabb that you desire, and then say to them easy words.
29

وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ يَدَكَ مَغْلُولَةً إِلَى عُنُقِكَ وَلاَ تَبْسُطْهَا كُلَّ الْبَسْطِ فَتَقْعُدَ مَلُومًا مَّحْسُورًا

جَعَلَ,
كُل,
لَبِسَ,
لَامَ,
قَعَدَ,
إِلَى,
عَنِقَ,
يَدَيَ,
غَلَّ,
بَسَطَ,
حَسَرَ,
And do not make your hands chained to your neck, nor spread all that extensive, then you sit as a blamed regretting, (end up liable and regretful).
30

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاء وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرَم ا بَصِيرًا

بَسَطَ,
قَدَرَ,
كَانَ,
رَزَقَ,
عَبَدَ,
شِاءَ,
بَصُرَ,
خَبَرَ,
رَبَّ,
Indeed, your Rabb spreads the provisions of life to whomever He desires, and He (provides) measures. Indeed, He is Fully Informed, All-Seeing of His slaves.
31

وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَوْلادَكُمْ خَشْيَةَ إِمْلاقٍ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُهُمْ وَإِيَّاكُم إنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ كَانَ خِطْءًا كَبِيرًا

قَتَلَ,
كَبَرَ,
خَشَيَ,
رَزَقَ,
كَانَ,
وَلَدَ,
مَلِقَ,
إِيَّا,
خَطِيءَ,
And do not kill your children due to fear of poverty. We provide provisions of life to them and to you, indeed, killing them is a great offense.
32

وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ الزِّنَى إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَاء سَبِيلاً

سَا ءَ,
قَرُبَ,
فَحُشَ,
كَانَ,
زَنَى,
سَبَلَ,
And do not get close to the fornication. That is an obscenity and evil path.
33

وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللّهُ إِلاَّ بِالحَقِّ وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَانًا فَلاَ يُسْرِف فِّي الْقَتْلِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مَنْصُورًا

قَتَلَ,
جَعَلَ,
حَرُمَ,
حَقَّ,
نَفُسَ,
سَرَف,
وَلِيَ,
سُلَط,
كَانَ,
ظَلَمَ,
نَصَرَ,
And do not kill the soul that is prohibited except with justification (by Justice by Lawful Authority). And whoever gets killed due to injustice then We have made his in-charge an authority. But do not exceed the boundaries of killing, for he well is helped.
34

وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ بِالْعَهْدِ إِنَّ الْعَهْدَ كَانَ مَسْؤُولاً

بَلَغَ,
قَرُبَ,
حَسَنَ,
شَدَّ,
وَفَى,
عَهِدَ,
مَال,
كَانَ,
يَتَمَ,
حَتَّى,
And do not get close to (benefit yourself from) the property (possessions) of orphans except with better (good intentions), until they reach adulthood and you fulfill the promise, indeed, (because) the promise will be questioned (requires responsibility).
35

وَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ إِذَا كِلْتُمْ وَزِنُواْ بِالقِسْطَاسِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً

خَيرَ,
حَسَنَ,
قُسْطَاس,
قَامَ,
وَفَى,
كَالَ,
ذَا,
وَزَنَ,
إِ لَ,
And redeem the scale when you measure, and weigh with the straight balance. That is a good thing and better explanation.
36

وَلاَ تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولـئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْؤُولاً

عَلِمَ,
لَيْسَ,
بَصُرَ,
سَمَعَ,
كُل,
كَانَ,
فُؤَاد,
قِيَافَة,
سَأَلَ,
And do not follow (track) that you do not have any knowledge of. Indeed, the hearing, and the seeing, and the hearts, all of those, will be questioned.
37

وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِي الأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولاً

بَلَغَ,
أَ رَضْ,
جَبَلَ,
مَشَى,
مَرَحَ,
خَرَقَ,
طَالَ,
And do not walk in the earth rejoicing. Indeed, you will never pierce through the ground nor will you reach the mountain growing tall.
38

كُلُّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ سَيٍّئُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ مَكْرُوهًا

كُل,
ذَا,
كَانَ,
كَرِهَ,
رَبَّ,
سَا ءَ,
All of these are disliked (hateful) by your Rabb.
39

ذَلِكَ مِمَّا أَوْحَى إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ الْحِكْمَةِ وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ فَتُلْقَى فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًا مَّدْحُورًا

جَعَلَ,
جَهَنَّم,
إِله,
أخر,
حَكَمَ,
لَقِيَ,
وَحَى,
إِلَى,
ذَا,
دَحَرَ,
مَعَ,
رَبَّ,
لَامَ,
These are among what you have been revealed by your Rabb as wisdom. And do not make others as a god with Allah or you will be thrown in Hell, blamed and driven away.
40

أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ مِنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ إِنَاثًا إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلاً عَظِيمًا

أَخَذَ,
قَالَ,
اِبْن,
أَنُثَ,
صَفَا,
عَظُمَ,
مَلَكَ,
Has your Rabb selected sons for you, while choosing daughters among the angels? You surely say a terrible thing.
41

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَـذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلاَّ نُفُورًا

صَرَفَ,
نَفَرَ,
قَرَأَ,
زَيدَ,
ذَكّرَ,
قَدْ,
And indeed, We have caused (turned to have your attention) in this the Quran, for you to remember, but it increases only an aversion for them.
42

قُل لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهُ آلِهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذًا لاَّبْتَغَوْاْ إِلَى ذِي الْعَرْشِ سَبِيلاً

قَالَ,
سَجَدَ,
سَبَلَ,
عَرَشَ,
بَغَى,
كَانَ,
مَعَ,
إِلَى,
إِله,
Say, “If there had been gods with Him, like they say, they would have sought a path to reach the Throne of Allah.”
43

سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا

قَالَ,
كَبَرَ,
سَبَحَ,
High Exalted.,
عَنْ,
Praise is to Him. He is high Exalted by what they say.
44

تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَالأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدَهِ وَلَـكِن لاَّ تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
غَفَرَ,
شِاءَ,
فَقِهَ,
حَمِدَ,
سَبَحَ,
كَانَ,
سَبْع,
حَلَمَ,
Praising Him are the seven skies, and the earth, and whatever (whoever) is in them. There is nothing that does not glorify Him with praise, but you do not comprehend their praises. Indeed, He is Gentle and Most Forgiving.
45

وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرآنَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسْتُورًا

أَ مَرَ,
جَعَلَ,
بَا نَ,
أخر,
أَ مُنَ,
قَرَأَ,
حَجَبَ,
سَتَرَ,
When you recite the Quran, We make between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a hidden screen.
46

وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِذَا ذَكَرْتَ رَبَّكَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَحْدَهُ وَلَّوْاْ عَلَى أَدْبَارِهِمْ نُفُورًا

جَعَلَ,
قَلَبَ,
نَفَرَ,
وَلِيَ,
فَقِهَ,
أَذن,
دَبَرَ,
أ حد,
وَقَرَ,
أَذن,
ذَكّرَ,
كَنَّ,
رَبَّ,
And We made a hidden cover on their hearts that (prevent) them from comprehending and hard hearing in their ears. And when you mention your Rabb in the Quran, they turn their backs in aversion.
47

نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَسْتَمِعُونَ بِهِ إِذْ يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِذْ هُمْ نَجْوَى إِذْ يَقُولُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ رَجُلاً مَّسْحُورًا

رَجِلَ,
قَالَ,
عَلِمَ,
تَبِعَ,
ظَلَمَ,
نَجَا,
سَحَرَ,
سَمَعَ,
إِلَى,
We know best about what they listen to, when they listen to you, as they secretly have a confidential talk, when the cruel say, “You only follow a man possessed.”
48

انظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُواْ لَكَ الأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّواْ فَلاَ يَسْتَطِيعْونَ سَبِيلاً

سَجَدَ,
ضَلَّ,
نَظَرَ,
سَبَلَ,
مَثَلَ,
كَيْفَ,
ضَرَبَ,
طَاعَ,
Look how they make an example for you. So they have lost the way and they are not capable of finding a path.
49

وَقَالُواْ أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا وَرُفَاتًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًا جَدِيدًا

قَالَ,
عَظُمَ,
جدَّ,
بَعَثَ,
خَلَقَ,
رَفَتَ,
كَانَ,
And they say, “When we have become bones and corpse remains, are we going to be raised as a different creature?”
50

قُل كُونُواْ حِجَارَةً أَوْ حَدِيدًا

قَالَ,
كَانَ,
حَدَّ,
حَجَر,
Say, “Even if you become stones or iron”.
51

أَوْ خَلْقًا مِّمَّا يَكْبُرُ فِي صُدُورِكُمْ فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَن يُعِيدُنَا قُلِ الَّذِي فَطَرَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ إِلَيْكَ رُؤُوسَهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هُوَ قُلْ عَسَى أَن يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا

قَالَ,
صَدَرَ,
فَطَرَ,
كَانَ,
مَرَّ,
ا و ل,
رَأَسَ,
عَسَى,
مَتَى,
خَلَقَ,
قَرُبَ,
عَادَ,
إِلَى,
غَضَن,
Or a creation, from what is bigger, in your hearts.” Then they will say, “Who will return us?” Say, “The One who has given you the natural disposition the first time.” Then they will shake their heads at you, and say, “When it will be?” Say, “Perhaps that it will happen soon.”
52

يَوْمَ يَدْعُوكُمْ فَتَسْتَجِيبُونَ بِحَمْدِهِ وَتَظُنُّونَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً

دَعَا,
ظَنَّ,
قَلَبَ,
قَلَّ,
يَوْم,
جَابَ,
حَمِدَ,
لَبِثَ,
On the Day when He summons you, you will respond with His praise, and you will speculate that you stayed (in this world) for a short (time).
53

وَقُل لِّعِبَادِي يَقُولُواْ الَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنزَغُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلإِنْسَانِ عَدُوًّا مُّبِينًا

قَالَ,
حَسَنَ,
عَدَا,
حَسَنَ,
بَا نَ,
عَبَدَ,
شَيَطن,
كَانَ,
Tell My slaves to speak what is best. Indeed, shaitan puts discord among them. Indeed, shaitan is a clear manifested enemy to the humankind.
54

رَّبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِن يَشَأْ يَرْحَمْكُمْ أَوْ إِن يَشَأْ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلاً

رَسِلَ,
عَلِمَ,
عَذُبَ,
رَحِمَ,
وَكَلَ,
شِاءَ,
Your Rabb knows the best about you. If He desires, He will have mercy on you or if He wishes, He will punish you. And We did not send you on them as an in-charge (defense counselor).
55

وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَلَقَدْ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا

بَعَضَ,
أَتَى,
عَلِمَ,
سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
نَبَأَ,
فَضَلَ,
بَعَضَ,
رَبَّ,
قَدْ,
And your Rabb knows best with who is in the universe and the earth (is good or evil). And indeed, We have given a superiority of some prophets over others and We gave David the Psalms.
56

قُلِ ادْعُواْ الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ فَلاَ يَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ الضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ وَلاَ تَحْوِيلاً

دَعَا,
قَالَ,
ضَرَّ,
زَعَمَ,
مَلَكَ,
حَالَ,
كَشَفَ,
دُون,
Say, “Call to those you consider from other than Him (as your supporter). They are not capable of removing harm from you nor can they (even) change it.
57

أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَى رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ وَيَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَهُ وَيَخَافُونَ عَذَابَهُ إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ كَانَ مَحْذُورًا

دَعَا,
عَذُبَ,
قَرُبَ,
خَافَ,
رَحِمَ,
رَجَا,
بَغَى,
وَسَلَ,
حَذِرَ,
كَانَ,
إِلَى,
رَبَّ,
أَيُّ,
Those they call on are themselves seeking a path to their Rabb to get closer to Him and they desire His mercy and fear His punishment. Indeed, the punishment of your Rabb is to be feared.
58

وَإِن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ إِلاَّ نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا كَانَ ذَلِك فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا

عَذُبَ,
قَرَى,
قَبِلَ,
كَتَبَ,
يَوْم,
هَلَكَ,
شَدَّ,
قَامَ,
سَطَرَ,
ذَا,
كَانَ,
There is not a town but We will destroy them before the Day of Standing or they are punished with a severe punishment. That is in writing in the book.
59

وَمَا مَنَعَنَا أَن نُّرْسِلَ بِالآيَاتِ إِلاَّ أَن كَذَّبَ بِهَا الأَوَّلُونَ وَآتَيْنَا ثَمُودَ النَّاقَةَ مُبْصِرَةً فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَا وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِالآيَاتِ إِلاَّ تَخْوِيفًا

أَتَى,
ظَلَمَ,
بَصُرَ,
كَذَبَ,
ا و ل,
آ ىي -آية,
رَسِلَ,
نَاقَة,
خَافَ,
مَنَعَ,
And nothing prevented Us from sending the signs, except that it was denied by the earlier generations. We gave Samoud the she-camel, recognition, but they were unjust with it and We do not send the signs except as a fear.
60

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لَكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ أَحَاطَ بِالنَّاسِ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلاَّ فِتْنَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَالشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُونَةَ فِي القُرْآنِ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلاَّ طُغْيَانًا كَبِيرًا

طَغَا,
شَجَرَ,
جَعَلَ,
أَنِسَ,
قَرَأَ,
قَالَ,
فَتَنَ,
زَيدَ,
كَبَرَ,
رَأَى,
حَاطَ,
لَعَنَ,
خَافَ,
رَبَّ,
رَوِيَ,
And when We said to you that indeed, your Rabb has surrounded the humankind. And We did not make the vision that We showed you except as a test for the humanity, and the tree that is cursed in the Quran. We make fearful to them, but it only increases in them a great rage.
61

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلآئِكَةِ اسْجُدُواْ لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُواْ إَلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ قَالَ أَأَسْجُدُ لِمَنْ خَلَقْتَ طِينًا

خَلَقَ,
سَجَدَ,
قَالَ,
مَلَكَ,
إِبْلِيسَ,
طِيِن,
And when We told the angels, “Prostrate for Adam,” they prostrated except Iblis. He said, “Shall I bow to whom you have created from mud?”
62

قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَكَ هَـذَا الَّذِي كَرَّمْتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنْ أَخَّرْتَنِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لأَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ إَلاَّ قَلِيلاً

إِلَى,
رَأَى,
قَالَ,
قَلَّ,
يَوْم,
ذَرَّ,
أخر,
قَامَ,
كَرُمَ,
حَتَّ,
He (Iblis) said, “Do you see this that you have honored over me? If you delay (punishment) for me up to the Day of Standing, I will scrape off his progeny, except a few.”
63

قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمْ جَزَاء مَّوْفُورًا

جَهَنَّم,
قَالَ,
جَزَى,
ذَهَبَ,
تَبِعَ,
وَفَرَ,
He (Allah) said, “Be gone! (Go Ahead) Whoever follows you among them, Hell will be their reward, a reward in abundance.”
64

وَاسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ مِنْهُمْ بِصَوْتِكَ وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِم بِخَيْلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ فِي الأَمْوَالِ وَالأَوْلادِ وَعِدْهُمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلاَّ غُرُورًا

مَال,
طَاعَ,
غَرَّ,
شَيَطن,
خَالَ,
صَاتَ,
فَزَّ,
رَجِلَ,
وَعَدَ,
جَلَبَ,
شَرِكَ,
وَلَدَ,
“And incite whomever you have capacity over them with your voice, and attract them with your cavalry and infantry, and become a partner with them in their wealth and their children and make promises to them.” And (but) what shaitan promises to them is only a deception.
65

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلاً

لَيْسَ,
كَفَى,
عَبَدَ,
وَكَلَ,
سُلَط,
رَبَّ,
“As for My slaves, you do not have any control over them.” Your Rabb is a sufficient trustee.
66

رَّبُّكُمُ الَّذِي يُزْجِي لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ فِي الْبَحْرِ لِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا

فَلَقَ,
فَضَلَ,
زَجَا,
بَحَرَ,
بَغَى,
فَلَكَ,
كَانَ,
رَحِمَ,
Your Rabb is the One who drives the ships for you in the ocean, so that you to seek His bounty. He is ever Merciful to you.
67

وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الْضُّرُّ فِي الْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاكُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ أَعْرَضْتُمْ وَكَانَ الإِنْسَانُ كَفُورًا

دَعَا,
نَجَا,
مَسَكَ,
ضَلَّ,
كَفَرَ,
بَرَ,
بَحَرَ,
عَرُضَ,
ضَرَّ,
كَانَ,
إِلَى,
إِيَّا,
When harm touches you in the ocean, all is lost among those you used to call besides Him. But when He rescues you on the land, you turn away and humankind is ungrateful.
68

أَفَأَمِنتُمْ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمْ جَانِبَ الْبَرِّ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُواْ لَكُمْ وَكِيلاً

جَنَبَ,
حَصَبَ,
بَرَ,
وَكَلَ,
وَجَدَ,
خَسَفَ,
رَسِلَ,
أَ مُنَ,
ثَمَّ,
Have you become peaceful (and secured) that He will not sink you in the side of the land or He will cover you with gravels, and then you will not find a dependent (trustee)?
69

أَمْ أَمِنتُمْ أَن يُعِيدَكُمْ فِيهِ تَارَةً أُخْرَى فَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَاصِفاً مِّنَ الرِّيحِ فَيُغْرِقَكُم بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُواْ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا بِهِ تَبِيعًا

كَفَرَ,
عَادَ,
وَجَدَ,
رَسِلَ,
رَاحَ,
أخر,
غَرِقَ,
أَ مُنَ,
ثَمَّ,
تَارَةً,
قَصَفَ,
تَبِعَ,
Or Have you become peaceful and secured that He will not return this to you again, and He will send on you storming winds, and drown you because of what you have been ungrateful for? Then you will not find over Us in this Following (nothing, nobody else is there to ask for help against Us).
70

وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلاً

رَدَفَ,
حَمَلَ,
كَثَرَ,
بَرَ,
بَحَرَ,
اِبْن,
طَابَ,
رَزَقَ,
خَلَقَ,
فَضَلَ,
كَرُمَ,
قَدْ,
Indeed, We have been generous to the Children of Adam and We carried them in the land and sea. And We provided them with good livelihood from the pure and clean and We preferred them over many among what We have created as a superior.
71

يَوْمَ نَدْعُو كُلَّ أُنَاسٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْ فَمَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ يَقْرَؤُونَ كِتَابَهُمْ وَلاَ يُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلاً

دَعَا,
كَتَبَ,
يَمَنَ,
يَوْم,
أَتَى,
ظَلَمَ,
قَرَأَ,
كُل,
أَ مَّ,
أَنِسَ,
فَتَلَ ,
On the Day, when We will summon all humankind with their front record. So then whoever is given his book (record) in his right hand, then they will read their record and they will not be unjustly treated one bit.
72

وَمَن كَانَ فِي هَـذِهِ أَعْمَى فَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ أَعْمَى وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلاً

سَجَدَ,
ضَلَّ,
عَمِيَ,
أخر,
سَبَلَ,
كَانَ,
And (but) whoever has been blind (ignorant) in this (life), then he will be blind in the Hereafter and led a misguided path.
73

وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ لِتفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ وَإِذًا لاَّتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلاً

أَخَذَ,
فَرَىَ,
كَادَ,
وَحَى,
غير,
إِلَى,
عَنْ,
فَتَنَ,
خَلَّ,
And they were about to entice you from what We have inspired to you, so that you would fabricate on us other than this. Then, they would have surely taken you as their friend.
74

وَلَوْلاَ أَن ثَبَّتْنَاكَ لَقَدْ كِدتَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْئًا قَلِيلاً

قَلَبَ,
شِاءَ,
قَلَّ,
ثَبُتَ,
إِلَى,
كَادَ,
قَدْ,
رَكَنَ,
لَوْ,
And if it were not that We had confirmed to you, you would have almost inclined towards them a little.
75

إِذاً لَّأَذَقْنَاكَ ضِعْفَ الْحَيَاةِ وَضِعْفَ الْمَمَاتِ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا نَصِيرًا

حي,
وَجَدَ,
ذَاقَ,
نَصَرَ,
ضَعَفَ,
ثَمَّ,
مَاتَ,
Then We would have made you taste double punishment in the life and double punishment in the death; then you will have never found a helper for you against Us.
76

وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ الأَرْضِ لِيُخْرِجوكَ مِنْهَا وَإِذًا لاَّ يَلْبَثُونَ خِلافَكَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً

قَلَبَ,
أَ رَضْ,
قَلَّ,
كَادَ,
خَرَجَ,
فَزَّ,
خَلَفَ,
لَبِثَ,
And indeed, they almost incited you in the earth, to leave you from there. In that case, they would not be living after you, except a little while.
77

سُنَّةَ مَن قَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَا وَلاَ تَجِدُ لِسُنَّتِنَا تَحْوِيلاً

رَسِلَ,
قَبِلَ,
سَنَّ,
وَجَدَ,
حَالَ,
Standard practice for those whom We have sent before you as Our messengers, you will not find a change in Our practice.
78

أَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا

صلو,
شَمَسَ,
قَرَأَ,
قَامَ,
لَيْل,
دَلْو,
غَسَقَ,
فَجَرَ,
كَانَ,
إِلَى,
شَهِدَ,
Establish prayers from descending of the sun, until the night is spread, and recitation of Quran at the breaking of the day. Indeed the recitation of Quran at the breaking of the day is witnessed.
79

وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَّكَ عَسَى أَن يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُودًا

بَعَثَ,
لَيْل,
عَسَى,
قَامَ,
رَبَّ,
هَجَدَ,
حَمِدَ,
And spend (keep vigil) with it during the night in prayer, as supererogatory prayers for you, in hopes that your Rabb will raise you to a commendable (admirable, praiseworthy, laudable, estimable, meritorious, creditable, exemplary, exceptional, noteworthy, notable, honorable, worthy, deserving, respectable, sterling, fine, excellent; More commendable) place.
80

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا

خَرَجَ,
جَعَلَ,
قَالَ,
سُلَط,
دَخَلَ,
نَصَرَ,
صَدَقَ,
رَبَّ,
لَّدُن,
And say, “O my Rabb, enter me in a truthful entrance (correct, righteous) and bring me out into a true exit (being a right honest), and grant me from You a powerful help (to stay a proper noble).
81

وَقُلْ جَاء الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

حَقَّ,
قَالَ,
بَطَلَ,
جَاءَ,
زَهَقَ,
كَانَ,
And say, “The truth has come, and falsehood has gone away, the lie indeed is dying.”
82

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلاَ يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إَلاَّ خَسَارًا

قَرَأَ,
نَزَلَ,
أَ مُنَ,
ظَلَمَ,
زَيدَ,
رَحِمَ,
خَسِرَ,
شَفَى,
We have put in the Koran what is healing and mercy for the believers, but nothing increases for the unjust except loss.
83

وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الإِنسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَى بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ كَانَ يَؤُوسًا

نَعَمَ,
مَسَّ,
جَنَبَ,
أَنِسَ,
شَرَّ,
عَرُضَ,
كَانَ,
نَأَى,
يَأَسَ,
When We grant livelihood to humankind, he turned away and stayed away from its side (to recognize that Allah gives all). And (but) when harm touches him, he becomes despaired (hopeless).
84

قُلْ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَى شَاكِلَتِهِ فَرَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ هُوَ أَهْدَى سَبِيلاً

عَمِلَ,
عَلِمَ,
هَدَى,
قَالَ,
سَبَلَ,
كُل,
شَكَلَ,
رَبَّ,
Say, “Everyone conducts according to its resemblance. Your Rabb (Only) knows who is better guided on a path.”
85

وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الرُّوحِ قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي وَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن الْعِلْمِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً

قَلَبَ,
سَأَلَ,
أَ مَرَ,
عَلِمَ,
رَاحَ,
قَلَّ,
قَالَ,
أَتَى,
رَبَّ,
عَنْ,
And they ask you about the souls. Say, “The souls are a matter of decision of my Rabb and you were not given much knowledge except a little.”
86

وَلَئِن شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلاً

شِاءَ,
شَهَرَ,
وَكَلَ,
ذَهَبَ,
وَجَدَ,
وَحَى,
إِلَى,
ثَمَّ,
If We desired, We would have taken away what We have revealed to you. Then you will not find a trustee for you against Us.
87

إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ إِنَّ فَضْلَهُ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ كَبِيرًا

فَضَلَ,
رَحِمَ,
كَبَرَ,
كَانَ,
رَبَّ,
Only through a mercy from your Rabb. Indeed, His grace has been greatness upon you.
88

قُل لَّئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى أَن يَأْتُواْ بِمِثْلِ هَـذَا الْقُرْآنِ لاَ يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا

بَعَضَ,
جَمَعَ,
قَرَأَ,
قَالَ,
جَنَّ,
مَثَلَ,
ظَهَرَ,
أَتَى,
كَانَ,
أَنِسَ,
لَوْ,
Say, “If you get humankind and the jinn together on that to bring an example of this Quran, they will never be able to deliver an example like it, even if they were helpers to each other.
89

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَـذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَى أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلاَّ كُفُورًا

أَبَى,
أَنِسَ,
مَتَعَ,
صَرَفَ,
كَفَرَ,
قَرَأَ,
كَثَرَ,
كُل,
مَثَلَ,
قَدْ,
And indeed, We have dedicated for the man in this Quran every kind of example; then (but) many of the humankind rejected it and were only ungrateful.
90

وَقَالُواْ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّى تَفْجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ الأَرْضِ يَنبُوعًا

قَالَ,
أَ رَضْ,
أَ مُنَ,
فَجَرَ,
حَتَّى,
نَبَعَ,
And they said, “We would never believe in you until you bring out water gushing forth in the earth for us”.
91

أَوْ تَكُونَ لَكَ جَنَّةٌ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَعِنَبٍ فَتُفَجِّرَ الأَنْهَارَ خِلالَهَا تَفْجِيرًا

نَخَلَ,
نَهَرَ,
كَانَ,
عنب,
جَنَّ,
فَجَرَ,
خَلَا,
Or you have a garden of date palms and grapes and you let rivers flow in the voids of empty spaces there gushing forth.
92

أَوْ تُسْقِطَ السَّمَاء كَمَا زَعَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا أَوْ تَأْتِيَ بِاللّهِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةِ قَبِيلاً

سَمَا,
أَتَى,
سَقَطَ,
قَبِلَ,
زَعَمَ,
كَسَفَ,
مَلَكَ,
Or you drop a piece of the sky on us like you are claiming or bring Allah and the angels up in front.
93

أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيْتٌ مِّن زُخْرُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَى فِي السَّمَاء وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّى تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَابًا نَّقْرَؤُهُ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي هَلْ كُنتُ إَلاَّ بَشَرًا رَّسُولاً

سَمَا,
كَتَبَ,
زَخْرَفَ,
سَبَحَ,
قَالَ,
كَانَ,
بَا تَ,
بَشَر,
سَبَحَ,
أَ مُنَ,
قَرَأَ,
رَقَيَ,
رَسِلَ,
كَانَ,
حَتَّى,
نَزَلَ,
رَبَّ,
Or you possess a house in decoration. Or you climb into the sky. And even then, we will never believe in your ascension, until you bring down on us a book that we can read.” Say, “Praise is to my Rabb. What am I, only a human being a messenger?”
94

وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُواْ إِذْ جَاءهُمُ الْهُدَى إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ أَبَعَثَ اللّهُ بَشَرًا رَّسُولاً

قَالَ,
بَعَثَ,
أَنِسَ,
هَدَى,
بَشَر,
جَاءَ,
أَ مُنَ,
رَسِلَ,
مَنَعَ,
And nothing prevented the humankind from believing, when guidance came to them, except that they said, “Did Allah raised a man as a messenger?”
95

قُل لَّوْ كَانَ فِي الأَرْضِ مَلآئِكَةٌ يَمْشُونَ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ السَّمَاء مَلَكًا رَّسُولاً

سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
مَلَكَ,
نَزَلَ,
قَالَ,
مَشَى,
رَسِلَ,
طَأْمَنَ,
مَلَكَ,
كَانَ,
Say, “If there were angels walking in the earth satisfactorily, then We would have sent down to them from the sky an angel messenger.”
96

قُلْ كَفَى بِاللّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا

خَبَرَ,
كَفَى,
بَا نَ,
عَبَدَ,
قَالَ,
بَصُرَ,
شَهِدَ,
كَانَ,
Say, “Allah is Sufficient a witness between me and you; He is Full Informed and All Knowing about his slaves.”
97

وَمَن يَهْدِ اللّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَاء مِن دُونِهِ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ عُمْيًا وَبُكْمًا وَصُمًّا مَّأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ زِدْنَاهُمْ سَعِيرًا

جَهَنَّم,
يَوْم,
صَمَّ,
بَكِمَ,
وَجَهَ,
حَشَرَ,
وَجَدَ,
عَمِيَ,
قَامَ,
كُل,
هَدَى,
زَيدَ,
سَعَرَ,
وَلِيَ,
دُون,
أَوَى,
خَبَا,
And whomever Allah guides is the guided one. And whomever He leaves misguided, you will not find any supporter for him from other than Him. And We will gather them on the Day of Standing, on their faces, blind, deaf, and dumb. Their final resting place is Hell; every time it extinguishes, We will restart it to flare up.
98

ذَلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَالُواْ أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا وَرُفَاتًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًا جَدِيدًا

قَالَ,
كَفَرَ,
عَظُمَ,
آ ىي -آية,
جَزَى,
جدَّ,
بَعَثَ,
خَلَقَ,
رَفَتَ,
ذَا,
كَانَ,
That is their reward because they have denied Our signs, and say, “Are we going to be raised as a new creation when we become bones and corpses?”
99

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّ اللّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ أَجَلاً لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَأَبَى الظَّالِمُونَ إَلاَّ كُفُورًا

رَابَ,
أَبَى,
خَلَقَ,
جَعَلَ,
أَ جَل,
سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
كَفَرَ,
رَأَى,
ظَلَمَ,
قَدَرَ,
مَثَلَ,
Do they not see that Allah has created the universe and the earth, and He is able to create like them? He made a fixed term where there is no doubt in it. But the unjust refused except in being ungratefulness.
100

قُل لَّوْ أَنتُمْ تَمْلِكُونَ خَزَآئِنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّي إِذًا لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الإِنفَاقِ وَكَانَ الإنسَانُ قَتُورًا

مَسَكَ,
مَلَكَ,
قَالَ,
رَحِمَ,
خَزَنَ,
خَشَيَ,
كَانَ,
رَبَّ,
نَفَقَ,
قَتَرَ,
Say, “If you have owned the treasures of the Mercy of my Rabb, then you would have held them back fearing the exhausting of the provisions.” The humankind has always been parsimonious.
101

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى تِسْعَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ فَاسْأَلْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذْ جَاءهُمْ فَقَالَ لَهُ فِرْعَونُ إِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَا مُوسَى مَسْحُورًا

ظَنَّ,
بَا نَ,
أَتَى,
سَأَلَ,
قَالَ,
آ ىي -آية,
اِبْن,
جَاءَ,
سَحَرَ,
قَدْ,
تِسْعِ,
And Indeed, We gave Musa nine signs of manifest proofs, so ask the Children of Israel. When he came to them, Then firoun said to him, “I suspect, O Musa, you are a possessed.”
102

قَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا أَنزَلَ هَـؤُلاء إِلاَّ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَا فِرْعَونُ مَثْبُورًا

ظَنَّ,
سَمَا,
أَ رَضْ,
عَلِمَ,
قَالَ,
نَزَلَ,
بَصُرَ,
رَبَّ,
قَدْ,
ثَبَرَ,
He said, “You know none are sent down except from the Rabb of the universe and the earth, as insight (to be reasonable); and indeed, I consider that, O Firoun, (you) are (inevitably) doomed.”
103

فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسْتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ الأَرْضِ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ جَمِيعًا

غَرِقَ,
أَ رَضْ,
جَمَعَ,
فَزَّ,
رَادَ,
Then he planned to frighten them from the land, so (but) We drowned him and whoever was with him, altogether.
104

وَقُلْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اسْكُنُواْ الأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَاء وَعْدُ الآخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا

أَ رَضْ,
أخر,
قَالَ,
اِبْن,
جَاءَ,
سَكَنَ,
وَعَدَ,
بَعُدَ,
لَفَّ,
After him, We said to the Children of Israel, “Establish in the land, and when our promise of the Hereafter comes to you, you will come to us assembled altogether.”
105

وَبِالْحَقِّ أَنزَلْنَاهُ وَبِالْحَقِّ نَزَلَ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا

رَسِلَ,
بَشِرَ,
نَذَرَ,
نَزَلَ,
حَقَّ,
And with the actual confirmation We sent down this (Quran), and with the truth sent down. And We did not send you only as a messenger, but also a bearer of good news and to be a Warner.
106

وَقُرْآناً فَرَقْنَاهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُ عَلَى النَّاسِ عَلَى مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ تَنزِيلاً

فَرَقَ,
نَزَلَ,
أَنِسَ,
قَرَأَ,
مَكَثَ,
And A Quran which We have divided (into Surahs, chapters) for its recitation on the humankind, staying, (remaining) and We revealed this scripture in sessions.
107

قُلْ آمِنُواْ بِهِ أَوْ لاَ تُؤْمِنُواْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهِ إِذَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِرُّونَ لِلأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًا

قَبِلَ,
عَلِمَ,
سَجَدَ,
قَالَ,
خَرَّ,
ذَقْن,
أَ مُنَ,
تلو,
أَتَى,
Say, “Believe in this (Quran) or do not believe (or not put a thought in it),” Those who were given the knowledge before this, when it was recited to them, they used to fall to the ground at their chins (faces) in prostration.
108

وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِن كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولاً

بَرْهَنَ,
سَبَحَ,
قَالَ,
وَعَدَ,
كَانَ,
رَبَّ,
فَعَلَ,
And they say, “Praise is to our Rabb. The promise of our Rabb will be performed (completed).”
109

وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلأَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًا

بَكَى,
زَيدَ,
خَرَّ,
ذَقْن,
خَشَعَ,
And they drop on their chins (faces) tearfully and (it) increases their humility (submissiveness).۩ Prostration
110

قُلِ ادْعُواْ اللّهَ أَوِ ادْعُواْ الرَّحْمَـنَ أَيًّا مَّا تَدْعُواْ فَلَهُ الأَسْمَاء الْحُسْنَى وَلاَ تَجْهَرْ بِصَلاَتِكَ وَلاَ تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَابْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ سَبِيلاً

سَمِي,
دَعَا,
سَجَدَ,
خَفَتَ,
بَا نَ,
جَهَرَ,
قَالَ,
سَبَلَ,
حَسَنَ,
صلو,
ذَا,
Say, “Call Allah or you call Him the Most Merciful. Whatever you call, for Him are the Good Names,” And do not be loud with your prayers, nor become inaudible with this, but seek in between that a way.
111

وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَم يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلَّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا

أَخَذَ,
قَالَ,
حَمِدَ,
وَلَدَ,
كَبَرَ,
وَلِيَ,
مَلَكَ,
شَرِكَ,
ذَلَّ,
كَانَ,
And say, “All the Praise for Allah, He does not take a son, nor a partner for Him in the Kingdom, nor a supporter for Him out of weakness. He is Highest and Magnificent.
112

صدق الله العظيم

صَدَقَ,
عَظُمَ,
ALLAH HAS SPOKEN THE GREATEST TRUTH
